Introduction This manual (T0106) contains options and protocol documentation that you should
become familiar with in order to be successfully understand the functionality found in the PathBuilder S200 series switch ONS Voice software license.
Note
Although video is not directly supported by the Voice software license, the RemoteVU Operators Manual is included to explain the support offered for the RemoteVU Host Video Workstation.
Voice over IP This manual describes the VoIP feature and it’s termination and encapsulation of
voice and fax traffic for transport over an IP network.
Voice Relay This manual describes the Voice Relay implementation used by 3Com on its
PathBuilder S200 series switches. This manual contains detailed descriptions, configuration and statistical information.

This Operator’s Guide explains the use of the Host Video Workstation (HVW) application in conjunction with the RemoteVU Daughtercard. It is provided for information purposes and does not contain any configuration information for setting up a video network. It is recommended that you refer to the Transaction Protocol Data Unit (TPDU) manual for relevant configuration information.
