Connecting to the Prestige 2002 Setup Screens
Please make sure you have connected the equipment correctly before adding the
settings. Here is a screenshot to help.

Change the network settings of your computer so that you can connect with the
Prestige 2002 setup screen. Make a note of your current settings, as you need to
return to these settings later. To change your network settings click:
Start > Settings > Network Connections

Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click on Properties. Set the IP address to
192.168.5.3, the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 and the default gateway to
192.168.5.1. Leave the DNS information blank. Click OK to apply the changes.
Checking the Prestige’s IP address
- Pick up your phone’s r
eceiver
- Press ‘****’ on your phone’s keypad and wait for the message that you are
in the configuration settings menu.
- Press ‘5’ followed by the key.
- Listen to the IP address and make a note of it as this should be the same as
the IP address entered in the Internet Protocol Properties.
- Hang up the receiver.

Open your browser - type in http://192.168.5.1/ on the address line and
click ENTER. This should bring up the Prestige 2002 setup screen. You will be
asked for a password. The default password is 1234. Change the password to
admin until after you have completed setup.

Setting up networking on the Prestige 2002
Click on Ethernet on the menu and set the same IP range as your router and
home network. Suggested settings:
IP Address: 192.168.1.200
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Leave the Primar
& Secondary DNS Blank then click Apply.

Return to the setup screen by going to http://192.168.1.200/ (or the IP
you assigned in step 6) in your browser.

Next, you need to change your PlusTalk or VoIP account settings. Click
VoIP on the side menu. Access to your router settings is protected with a
username and password. By default the username is Administrator, the
password is blank. You can change these later to secure your settings. Next,
