(32 lb. bond to 90 lb. index) that are larger than 8.5 x

-Recommended paper to maximize copy quality is Xerox
Image Series LX 24# (smooth bright white paper). This
paper is specifically designed to maximize image quality
and machine performance over a wide range of
environmental conditions.
-Recommended 90# index or equivalent (8.5 x 11 only)
can be run satisfactorily. However, it is not to be
expected to match the performance of Xerox Image
Series LX 24#

recommended equivalent (7 PT) may cause machine
damage.
-Xerox coated stock 32 # bond (3R5093) and 60# bond
(3R5095), which were designed for the xerographic
process, can be run satisfactorily. Coated papers are
NOT to be expected to match the performance of
regular bond paper.
Coated stock MUST be run through the Bypass Tray in
the Heavy Weight Paper Mode.
-Recommended AB-X image transfer material (3R4982
for 8.5 x 11 and 3R4983 for 11 x 17) can be run
satisfactorily.
-All papers heavier than 28 lb. bond (including coated)
MUST be run from the Bypass Tray in Heavy Weight
Paper Mode.
-Sorter option:
- 20 bin sorted or stacked sets of the above thruput
sizes and weights at 50 sheets/bin.
- Sorter top tray will handle all above thruput sizes
and weights up to 99 sheets.

sheets.
Note: For more detailed information on thruput materials, please

COPY QUALITY
COPY QUALITY
-Color quality is subjective and could be impacted by lighting, environment,
and / or thruput materials (paper and other).
-Like any color reproduction process there will be some variances in copy
quality over time.
-Copy Quality is strongly influenced by paper.
- Key Applications should be copied on the 5760/5765 and reviewed with
the customer.
-Transparencies are non absorbent and may exhibit non uniform density
streaks in large solid areas from the fuser agent film.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT
CUSTOMER SUPPORT
-The Xerox Customer Support Center Helpline, 1-800-821-2797, is
provided for all service calls and available for Customer APPLICATION
questions.
-The Supplies Marketing Center is available at 1-800-822-2200 for order of
paper and thruput materials.
-Fee-based training courses or hourly sessions are available through
Xerox Document Management Training Representatives.
DUPLEX COPYING
DUPLEX COPYING
-Duplex copies should only be run from bypass tray for the second side.
-The black and white or lower density image side should be run first.
-Feeding reliability may be improved by rotating the paper orientation 90
degrees before copying the second side.
-The MajestiK will not be replaced free of charge for unsatisfactory
duplex operation because a replacement unit will have similar
performance.
CONFIGURATION LIMITATIONS
CONFIGURATION LIMITATIONS
-The ADF is not a field upgradeable unit. It can only be purchased at
initial order.
-A Sorter OR Film Projector can be added to any of the configurations,
but both cannot be installed on the same unit.
- An Edit kit is available as an accessory to upgrade a non-edit machine
with an ‘off-line’ edit pad. This can be installed on a machine either with
or without an ADF.

INSERTION OF COPIES INTO HIGH
VOLUME COPIERS
VOLUME COPIERS
-Insertion of 5760/5765 copies in 5090/5390/ DocuTech 135 requires
Customer Business Unit validation.
-Do not use 5760/5765 inserts in 5100 due to incompatibility with the
fuser.
-MajestiK 5760/65 is recommended for duplex applications.
-As with any full color copier, duplex performance is not expected to match
the performance for single sided copying. Paper jam rates will be higher
than the rate you will experience for the same thruput material in single
sided mode. Extensive duplex operation may have a secondary effect on
performance and copy quality of single sided jobs
-MajestiK should provide reasonable duplex performance when operated
within the specified paper weight range (8.5 x 11, 16-28 lb. only) and
utilizing the following recommended procedure:
