Charger Mode Messages
The following subsections of “Charger Mode Messages” have corrections.
Absorption Charging
“Absorption Charging” on page 35 has the following corrections:
•In Absorption mode, the Charge LED indicator is solid (not flashing).
•When the battery reaches 90% state-of-charge, the Batt. Full LED indicator
will be solid (will not flash).
The following text replaces the paragraph under “Absorption Charging” on
page 35.
When the charger is charging in Absorption mode, the screen displays Absorption
Chg, and the Charge LED indicator is solid. In addition, the Batt. Full LED
indicator will be solid when the battery state-of-charge (SOC) is between 90 and
100% according to the inverter/charger's estimate.
Float Charging
“Float Charging” on page 36 has the following correction:
•In Float mode, the Charge LED indicator is solid (not flashes quickly).
The following text replaces the paragraph under “Float Charging” on page
36.
When the charger is in Float mode, the screen displays Float Charging, and the
Charge LED indicator is solid. At this point the batteries are fully charged (100%)
and the Batt. Full LED indicator is solid.
Errata
Equalizing Charging
The paragraph under “Equalizing Charging” on page 36 has the following
correction:
•In equalize mode, the Charge LED indicator flashes approximately two times
per second (not 8 times).

The following text replaces the first paragraph under “Equalizing Charging”
on page 36.
To activate Equalize mode, press and hold the Settings button (right arrow) until
the screen clears and Equalizing appears (approximately 6 seconds). The Charge
LED indicator flashes approximately two times per second in equalize mode. The
equalize charge will continue for 3 hours, and then automatically change back to
float charging.
