Thank you for purchasing the VTech® Magical Learning Wand. With five interactive games, your child will enjoy learning letters, counting,
emotions, music and more with Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and Belle. Wave the wand to magically interact with the games and hear magical sounds and classical style music.

WARNING: All packing materials, such as tape, plastic
sheets, packing lockers, wire ties and tags are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.
Demo strip removal:
When the product is taken out of the packaging, please remove the demo strip from the unit to activate normal play mode.
NOTE: Please keep instruction manual as it contains important information.
GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw.
3. Install 3 new “AAA” (LR03/AM-4) batteries into the compartment as illustrated. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

BATTERY NOTICE
• The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision (if removable).
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• The toy is not to be connected to more than the recommended number of power supplies.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. ON/OFF SWITCH
To turn the unit ON, slide the ON/OFF SWITCH up to the ON position. To turn the
unit OFF, slide the switch down to the OFF position.
2. MUSIC BUTTON
Press the MUSIC BUTTON to be greeted by Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora or Belle followed by a melody which the princess will dance along to. Wave the wand while a melody is playing to add magical sounds.
3. GAMES BUTTON
Press the GAMES BUTTON to enter the games menu.
4. ENTER BUTTON
Press the ENTER BUTTON to confirm your choice on the screen.

5. SENSOR
Wave the wand to activate the SENSOR to interact with the games and hear magical sounds.
6. VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH
The VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH is located on the back of the wand at the bottom. To adjust the volume, slide the VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to choose low, medium or high volume.
7. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech® Magical Learning Wand will automatically power-off after several minutes without input. The unit can be reactivated by pressing any button.
ACTIVITIES
1. SNOW WHITE’S KITCHEN
Snow White is preparing a meal. She needs your help to tell her how many objects there are. Wave the wand to choose a number to answer and press the ENTER BUTTON to confirm your choice.

2. BELLE’S BOOKS
One of the books is missing. Help Belle find the book with the correct letter to complete the sequence in alphabetical order. Wave the wand to choose a letter to answer and press the ENTER BUTTON to confirm your choice.
3. AURORA’S GOWNS
Aurora needs your help to choose a dress. Wave the wand to choose a dress for Aurora to wear and press the ENTER BUTTON to confirm your choice. Aurora will dance along with the music in your chosen dress!
4. CINDERELLA’S FEELINGS
Find the scene that makes Cinderella happy or sad. Wave the wand to choose and press the
ENTER BUTTON to confirm your choice.
5. SHALL WE DANCE?
Wave the wand to choose a melody and press the ENTER BUTTON to confirm your choice. Wave the wand while a melody is playing to add magical sounds and see a princess and her friends dance along with the music.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions, please:
1. Turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace with an entire set of new batteries.
