service. If the device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it and contact your dealer. Damage caused by

2. Safety Instructions

Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.

Indoor use only.

Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.

Never leave the magnifying lens unattended where direct sunlight may pass through it:
this creates a fire hazard.

3. General Guidelines

Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.

• Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.

• Protect the device against extreme heat, dust and moisture.

• Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.

• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Do not replace a damaged power cord yourself

but refer to an authorized dealer.

• Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.

• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer

will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

• There are no user-serviceable parts.

4. Installation/operation

• Open the table clamp by twisting the T-handle counter clockwise.

• Slide the clamp over a suitable and solid horizontal surface capable of carrying it, T-handle at the bottom.

• Twist the T-handle clockwise until the clamp is firmly secured to the surface.

• Slide the stem of the lamp into the hole on top of the clamp.

• Plug the power cable into a suitable mains outlet.

• Switch on the lamp with the On/Off button on top of the lamp.

• The magnifying lens is protected by a hard cover. Fold it upwards to use the lens. Do not force. Always close it

when not in use to avoid fire hazard (sunlight).

1. Inleiding

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen,
dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele batterijen) niet bij het
gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit
toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke

milieuwetgeving.

Hebt u vragen, contacteer dan de plaatselijke autoriteiten betreffende de verwijdering.

2. Veiligheidsinstructies

Laat de vergrootlens niet onbeheerd achter waar er direct zonlicht aan kan: dit creëert
brandgevaar.

3. Algemene richtlijnen

Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie achteraan deze handleiding.

• Bescherm de lamp tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de bediening.

• Bescherm tegen extreme temperaturen, stof en vochtigheid.

• Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken.

• Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen. Vervang een beschadigde voedingskabel niet zelf;

neem contact op met uw verdeler.

• Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Bij onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de garantie.

• De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal

de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.

• U mag geen onderdelen vervangen.

4. Installatie/gebruik

• Draai het T-hendel tegen de wijzers van de klok in en open de tafelklem.

• Schuif de klem over een stevig en stabiel oppervlak, het T-hendel onderaan.

• Draai het T-hendel met de wijzers van de klok mee zodat de lamp stevig aan het oppervlak vastzit.

• Schuif de arm van de lamp in de voorziene opening bovenaan de klem.

• Steek de stekker van de voedingskabel in het stopcontact.

• Schakel de lamp in met de I/O-knop bovenaan de lamp.

• Het vergrootglas is uitgerust met een bescherming. Vouw deze bescherming voorzichtig open om het vergrootglas

te gebruiken. Sluit na gebruik.
