REMOTE CONTROL AUTO ALARM SYSTEM
INTRODUCTION
This alarm system will provide years of dependable operation. Yet, quality and longevity of the system are determined by the installation. For information on operating the system, read the operation manual.

INSTALLATION
A. MOUNTING THE SIREN
1. In the engine compartment, place the siren in a location suitable for best sound results. Be careful not to mount the unit near exhaust manifolds or other "hot" equipment and moisture area.
NOTE : Preferred siren position is facing forward (toward front of vehicle). Siren should not face up.
2. Mark and drill two 3/16" holes to screw on the mounting bracket. With the screws and lock washers provided, mount the bracket to the vehicle.
3. After mounted the bracket, mount the siren to the bracket with the bolts, washers and lock washers provided. Adjust the siren angle and tighten bolts.
B. DECALS
Peel the decals from the paper backing and apply them to the inside of your vehicle's window. These are an effective deterrent to thief. Most thieves pass by vehicles that equipped with security system.

WIRING
Keep wiring away from moving engine parts, exhaust pipes and high tension cable. Watch out sharp edges that may damage wires and cause short circuit.
1. RED WIRE -- SYSTEM POWER (+12V CONSTANT) --
Red wire supplies power to the system. Connect this wire to a constant + 12 volts source.
NOTE : If you plan to program the alarm with voltage drop sensing, this connection "must" be made at the permanent + 12 volts live point of the fuse controlling the interior dome light of the vehicle. This connection performance of the voltage drop sensing feature.
2. BLACK WIRE -- SYSTEM GROUND --
This is main ground connection of the alarm module. Make this connection to a solid section of the vehicle frame. Do not connect this wire to any existing ground wires supplied by the factory wire loom, make the connection to the vehicle's frame directly.
3. BLUE WIRE -- GROUND TRIGGER INPUT -- (Optional)
This wire is the ground trigger input wire (art. AM959, AM950, AM951) for additional hood / trunk pin switch (art. AM927S, AM973)
Blue Wire : Ground Trigger Pin Switch
BLACK THIN WIRE -- RF ANTENNA --
The BLACK thin wire on the alarm is the receiver antenna wire. Antenna placement is very important! Ensure the it is unwrapped and stretched out with the last 6" straight and keep it away from large metal objects or chassis for best reception.
IMPORTANT : Do not cut, do not connect to metal.
Use an extra receive-antenna (art. AM/ANT) to have a better result.

PROGRAMMING AND ADJUSTMENT
After all wiring completed, follow the steps to program transmitter code, siren and shock sensitivity.
A. PROGRAMMING TRANSMITTER CODE
Programming the transmitter codes, when the alarm completely installed. Only 2 transmitters can operate with a single alarm unit. Steps are : Disconnect power to alarm, after 10 seconds reconnect the power.
Programming transmitters Confirmation of
programmed Press first transmitter's button I One chirp from the siren. Press second transmitter's (optional) button I within
One chirp from the siren. 5 seconds after programmed first transmitter.
order code : 600-2N
button I
LED
button II
Attention! If this alarm loses power, it will not retain the transmitter's code. Reprogramming is necessary, and the procedure is the same as above. After reconnecting the power, this alarm's siren preset on multi-siren tone, and shock sensor's sensitivity preset on level 3.
B. SHOCK SENSOR SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT & TESTING :
ENTER PROGRAMMING MODE :
1. Upon disarm, within 10 seconds, press both buttons together for 2 seconds.
You will hear a confirmation chirp, and now it is on programming mode.
2. Press button II to enter choosing shock sensitivity. By pressing button II again
you can scroll through 8 levels and 8 corresponding tones. The higher the pitch of the tone the more sensitivity the alarm is to shock.

TEST SENSITIVITY : At any time, you can stop and try out the sensitivity of the setting by hitting you car with your fist to see if that level of impact to the alarm .The siren will sound if you hit the car heavy enough.
1. During the testing, there are two stages of impact sound effect on every level.
2. The first stage's sound, which is like a chirp, is the pre-warning sound. It
simulates the system in armed condition and the shock sensor sense a moderate shock, so the systems send a pre-warning tone to warn the intruders stay out.
3. The second stage's sound, which is like a ding-dong, is the triggered sound. It
simulates the system is armed condition and the shock sensor sense a heavy shock, so the systems send a full triggered siren, alarming intrusion.
4. Only one chirp from siren when you hit the window heavy, maybe the sensor
is too dumb. Many chirps with ding-dong, when you hit the window heavy maybe the sensor is too sensitivity. Both of them are not adequate.
5. Recommended setting the shock sensitivity is a chirp follow with a ding-dong
when you hit the window heavy.
EXIT THE PROGRAMMING MODE : If you choose on a proper level, simply press button I to exit programming mode and save this sensitivity level. Two chirps for confirmation. If you don't press any button in 10 seconds, system will automatically exit the mode.
C. CHOOSING SIREN TONE -- 5 DIFFERENT SIREN TONE & MULTI SIREN TONE :
ENTER PROGRAMMING MODE :
1. Upon disarm, within 10 seconds, press both buttons together for 2 seconds.
You will hear a confirmation chirp, now it is on programming mode.
2. Press button I to enter choosing siren tone .By pressing button I again, you
can scroll through 5 different siren tones & multi siren tone.
3. If you choose on a favorite tone, simply press button II to exit programming
mode and save the last tone played. Two chirps for confirmation. If you don't press any button in 10 seconds, the system will automatically exit the programming mode.
D. ORANGE WIRE LOOP
1. If your vehicle with electric cooling fan (switch off the ignition and remove
the key, the fan continues running), the orange wire loop must be cut and tape both end to delete the voltage drop sensor.

2. Some G.M. vehicles have a 2 minute's computer timing circuit to check the
vehicle's door to see if it is closed, allowing the vehicle's door handle touch control to turn on your dome lights when you touch the door handle. This action will trigger the alarm while the alarm armed. Prevent this situation, on these cars, cut the orange wire loop and tape both end to delete the voltage drop sensor.
