Einleitung
Wir beglückwünschen Sie zum Kauf Ihres
neuen Alu-Starthilfekabels. Sie haben
sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt
entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise
für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen
Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen
Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für
die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie
alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an
Dritte ebenfalls mit aus.
Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Das Alu-Starthilfekabel, Typ DIN 72553-25, ist für
Ottomotoren mit einem Hubraum bis max. 5500 cm
und Dieselmotoren mit einem Hubraum bis max.
3000 cm

zugelassen. Das Produkt ist als Starthilfe
nur zwischen zwei Fahrzeugen geeignet, die beide
mit einer 12 Volt oder 24 Volt Batterie ausgestattet
sind. Andere Verwendungen oder Veränderungen
des Produktes gelten als nicht bestimmungsgemäß
und können zu Risiken wie z. B. Kurzschluss, Brand,
elektrischem Schlag und Beschädigung des Produktes sowie Sachbeschädigung führen. Für aus bestimmungswidriger Verwendung entstandene Schäden
übernimmt der Hersteller keine Haftung. Das Produkt
ist nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.

Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren
und darüber sowie von Personen mit verringerten

benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes

Lebensgefahr durch

Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch das Alu-
Starthilfekabel auf etwaige Beschädigungen.
Benutzen Sie das Alu-Starthilfekabel niemals,
wenn Sie irgendwelche Beschädigungen feststellen.
VORSICHT! Beschädigte Leitungen bedeuten
Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag. Wenden Sie sich bei Beschädigungen, Reparaturen
oder anderen Problemen an dem Produkt an
die Servicestelle oder eine Elektrofachkraft.
Öffnen Sie niemals eines der elektrischen Be-
triebsmittel (Leitungen) oder stecken irgendwelche Gegenstände in dieselben. Derartige Eingriffe bedeuten Lebensgefahr durch
elektrischen Schlag.
Sicherheitshinweise zum
Alu-Starthilfekabel
Die Kapazität der stromgebenden Starterbatterie,
z. B. 45 Ah, (Wagen B) darf nicht wesentlich
unter der der entladenen Starterbatterie
(Wagen A) liegen, sonst ist ein Starten des
Fahrzeuges nicht möglich. Es besteht Überhitzungsgefahr.
Es dürfen nur Batterien gleicher Nennspannung
(12 oder 24 Volt) mit dem Alu-Starthilfekabel
verbunden werden. Andernfalls besteht Kurzschlussgefahr sowie die Gefahr der Beschädigung
von Bordelektronik und elektrischen Komponenten.
Zwischen den Fahrzeugen (Wagen A und B)
darf kein Karosseriekontakt bestehen oder
hergestellt werden. Andernfalls besteht Kurzschlussgefahr.
BRANDGEFAHR! Halten Sie
Zündquellen (z. B. offenes Licht,
brennende Zigarren, Zigaretten oder
elektrische Funken) von den Starterbatterien fern.
VORSICHT! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
RISIKO VON AUGENVERLETZUNGEN!
Nicht über Starterbatterien beugen. Der Elektrolyt ist auch bei niedrigen Temperaturen und
unabhängig vom Ladezustand flüssig.
Die entladene Starterbatterie (Wagen A) darf
beim Starthilfevorgang nicht vom dazugehörenden Bordnetz getrennt werden.
Die Zündungen der Fahrzeuge sind vor dem
Anklemmen des Alu-Starthilfekabels auszuschalten
und die Feststellbremse ist anzuziehen. Stellen
Sie bei Schaltgetrieben den Schalthebel in die
Leerlauf-Stellung, bei Automatikgetrieben den
Wählhebel auf „P”.
Legen Sie die Leitungen des Alu-Starthilfekabels
so, dass diese nicht von drehenden Teilen im
Motorraum erfasst werden können.

Anklemmen
Hinweis: Überprüfen Sie zunächst, ob die beiden
Batterien, Spenderbatterie (Wagen B) und entladene Batterie (Wagen A), die gleiche Spannung (12
oder 24 Volt) haben und von annähernd gleicher
Kapazität sind. Vergleichen Sie die Aufdrucke auf
den Batterien!

Fahrzeugmasse, z. B. an Masseband oder
einer anderen blanken Stelle am Motorblock
des liegengebliebenen Fahrzeuges (A), an.
Hinweis: Die Stelle sollte sich soweit wie möglich
entfernt von der Starterbatterie befinden, um das
Zünden von möglicherweise entwickeltem Knallgas
zu verhindern.
EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR! Schließen
Sie auf keinen Fall den Minuspol an
die entladene Batterie an, da die
Gefahr des Funkenschlages besteht, bei dem
sich explosive Gase entzünden können.
Hinweis: Legen Sie nach jedem Startversuch, der
nicht länger als 15 Sekunden dauern soll, eine
Wartezeit von mindestens einer Minute ein. Bleibt
der Startvorgang auch nach mehreren Versuchen
erfolglos, suchen Sie eine Kfz-Werkstatt auf.
Warten Sie nach erfolgreichem Starten des lie-
gengebliebenen Fahrzeugs (Wagen A) 2 bis 3
Minuten, bis der Motor einwandfrei läuft.
Abklemmen
Hinweis: Wenn der Motor gestartet ist, elektrische
Verbraucher einschalten, z. B. Fahrzeugbeleuchtung
oder Heckscheibenheizung, um Spannungsspitzen
zu vermeiden.
Hinweis: Klemmen Sie das Alu-Starthilfekabel in
umgekehrter Reihenfolge des Anklemmens ab.

Achten Sie beim Entfernen der Alu-Starthilfekabel
darauf, dass diese nicht in Kontakt mit den drehenden Teilen der Motoren kommen.
Hinweis: Stellen Sie das mit Hilfe des Alu-Starterkabels gestartete Fahrzeug nicht sofort wieder ab.
Fahren Sie eine Weile, um die Batterie über die
Lichtmaschine wieder aufzuladen.

Starten Sie nach dem Anklemmen der Alu-Start-
hilfekabel zunächst den Motor des Fahrzeugs mit
der Spenderbatterie (Wagen B). Starten Sie dann
das liegengebliebene Fahrzeug (A).
STROMSCHLAG! Aus Gründen der elektri-
schen Sicherheit darf das Alu-Starthilfekabel
LEBENSGEFAHR DURCH
niemals mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten
gereinigt oder gar in Wasser getaucht werden.

Verstauen Sie das Alu-Starthilfekabel nach jedem
Gebrauch in die mitgelieferte Aufbewahrungstasche, um das Produkt vor Feuchtigkeit und
Verschmutzung zu schützen.
Hinweis: Das Alu-Starthilfekabel sollte stets im
Fahrzeug sicher mitgeführt werden.
Verwenden Sie keine Lösungsmittel, Benzin o.ä.
Andernfalls besteht Gefahr der Sachbeschädigung.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung nur ein trockenes
fusselfreies Tuch.
Entsorgung
Die Verpackung besteht aus umweltfreundlichen Materialien, die Sie über die örtlichen Recyclingstellen entsorgen können.
Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten
Produktes erfahren Sie bei Ihrer Gemeinde- oder
Stadtverwaltung.
Werfen Sie Ihr Produkt, wenn es ausgedient hat, im Interesse des Umweltschutzes
nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern führen
Sie es einer fachgerechten Entsorgung

d’une cylindrée max. de 5500cm
diesel d’une cylindrée max. de 3000cm

pendant l’usage du produit.
Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants
de 8 ans et plus ainsi que par des personnes à
capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales
réduites ou manquant d‘expérience et de
connaissance que sous surveillance ou s‘ils ont
été instruits de l‘utilisation sûre de cet appareil
et des risques en découlant. Les enfants ne
doivent pas jouer avec cet appareil. Le nettoyage et la maintenance domestique de l‘appareil ne doit pas être effectué par un enfant
sans surveillance..
PRUDENCE ! RISQUE D’EX-
PLOSION ! Ne pas utiliser le câble
de démarrage alu dans un environne-
ment explosif contenant des vapeurs, gaz ou
poussières inflammables.
Danger de mort par électrocution
Avant chaque utilisation, contrôler le bon état
du câble de démarrage alu. Ne jamais utiliser
le câble de démarrage alu si vous détectez le
moindre endommagement.
ATTENTION ! Les câbles défectueux repré-
sentent un risque mortel d’électrocution. En cas
d’endommagements, de réparations ou
d’autres problèmes, veuillez contacter la filiale
S.A.V. ou un électricien.
Ne jamais ouvrir l’un des composants (câbles)
électriques, ni insérer un objet dans ceux-ci. Ce
type d’intervention représente un danger mortel
d’électrocution.
Consignes de sécurité relatives
au câble de démarrage alu
La capacité de la batterie donneuse, par ex.
45 Ah, (véhicule B) ne doit pas être considérablement inférieure à celle de la batterie en
panne (véhiculeA), sinon le véhicule ne pourra
démarrer. Il existe un risque de surchauffe.
Seules des batteries de tension nominale iden-
tique (12 ou 24volts) peuvent être reliées avec
le câble de démarrage alu. Dans le cas
contraire, il existe un risque de court-circuit et
d’endommagement de l’électronique de bord
ainsi que des composants électriques.
Les carrosseries des véhicules (véhicule A et B)
ne doivent pas être en contact. Dans le cas
contraire, il existe un risque de court-circuit.
RISQUE D’INCENDIE! Tenir
toute source d’inflammation (par ex.
éclairage ouvert, cigares et cigarettes allumé(e)s ou étincelles électriques) à
distance des batteries.
PRUDENCE! RISQUES DE BLESSURES!
RISQUE DE BLESSURES DES YEUX! Ne
pas se pencher au-dessus des batteries. L’électrolyte est liquide, même à basses températures
et indépendamment du niveau de charge.
La batterie déchargée (véhiculeA) ne doit pas
être déconnectée de son réseau de bord lors
du démarrage assisté.
Avant de connecter le câble de démarrage alu,
il convient de couper l’allumage des véhicules
et de serrer le frein à main. Si la boîte de vitesses
est manuelle, mettez le levier en position neutre;
si la boîte est automatique, sur «P».
Placez les câbles de démarrage alu de manière
à ce qu’ils ne puissent pas être happés par des
pièces en rotation dans la zone du moteur.

capacité quasiment identique. Comparez les inscriptions sur les batteries!

Remarque : la pièce doit être le plus loin possible de la batterie afin d’éviter l’ignition d’éventuel
gaz tonnant.

faut en aucun cas connecter le pôle
négatif de la batterie déchargée en
raison du risque de formation d’étincelles pou-
vant enflammer des gaz explosifs.

Déconnecter
Remarque : une fois le moteur démarré, allumer
les consommateurs électriques tels que l’éclairage
du véhicule ou le dégivrage de la lunette arrière
pour éviter les pointes de tension.
Remarque : les câbles de démarrage alu doivent
être débranchés dans l’ordre inverse de leur branchement.

DANGER DE MORT
Après les branchements des câbles de démar-
rage alu, commencer par démarrer le moteur
du véhicule avec la batterie donneuse (voiture B).
Démarrer ensuite le véhicule en panne (A).
PAR ÉLECTROCUTION ! Pour motifs de sé-
curité électrique, le câble de démarrage alu ne
doit jamais être nettoyé avec de l’eau ou
d’autres liquides, ni être immergé.

Pericolo di morte per

Prima di ogni utilizzo controllare che i cavi di
avviamento alluminio non presentino eventuali
danni. Non utilizzare mai i cavi di avviamento
alluminio se si osserva la presenza di qualsiasi
danno.
ATTENZIONE! I cavi danneggiati comporta-
no il pericolo di morte per scossa elettrica. In
caso di danni, necessità di riparazioni o altri
problemi del prodotto, rivolgersi al centro di
assistenza o a un elettricista.
Non aprire in nessun caso uno dei dispositivi
elettrici (cavi) e non inserire nessun oggetto al
loro interno. Interventi di questo tipo comportano il pericolo di morte per scossa elettrica.
Avvertenze di sicurezza per
cavi di avviamento alluminio
La capacità della batteria di soccorso, p.e.
45 Ah, (veicolo B) non deve essere notevolmente
inferiore a quella della batteria scarica (veicolo
A), altrimenti non è possibile avviare il veicolo.
Sussiste pericolo di surriscaldamento.
Con i cavi di avviamento alluminio devono essere
collegate solo batterie che hanno la stessa tensione nominale (12 o 24 Volt). In caso contrario
vi è pericolo di cortocircuito e pericolo di danneggiamento dell’elettronica di bordo e dei
componenti elettronici.
Tra i veicoli (veicoli A e B) non deve esserci e
non deve essere prodotto nessun contatto delle
carrozzerie. In caso contrario sussiste pericolo
di cortocircuito.
PERICOLO D´INCENDIO! Tenere
lontano fonti di accensione (p.e. fiamme aperte, sigari e sigarette accesi,
scintille elettriche) dalle batterie di avviamento.
PRUDENZA! PERICOLO DI INFORTUNIO!
RISCHIO DI LESIONI AGLI OCCHI! Non
piegarsi sulle batterie di avviamento. L’elettrolita
è liquido anche a temperature basse e indipendentemente dallo stato di carica.
Durante la procedura con il dispositivo ausiliario
di avviamento, la batteria di avviamento scarica
(veicolo A) non deve essere separata dal rispettivo circuito di bordo.
Prima di collegare i cavi di avviamento alluminio,
disinserire l’accensione dei veicoli e inserire il
freno a mano. In caso di cambio manuale mettere in folle la leva del cambio, in caso di cambio automatico posizionare la leva su “P”.
Posizionare i fili dei cavi di avviamento alluminio
in modo che non possano essere trascinati da
componenti rotanti nel vano motore.

Avviso: Dopo ogni tentativo di avviamento, che
non deve durare oltre 15 secondi, attendere almeno un minuto. Se anche in seguito a vari tentativi il
processo di avviamento non dovesse avere esito

alluminio nella borsa fornita in dotazione, per
proteggere il prodotto dall’umidità e dalla
sporcizia.
Nota: I cavi di avviamento alluminio dovrebbero
essere sempre trasportati in modo sicuro nell’automezzo.
Non utilizzare solventi, benzina o sostanze si-
mili, altrimenti vi è rischio di danni materiali.
Per la pulizia, usare solo un panno asciutto che
non lascia peli.

L’imballaggio è costituito da materiali

bevat belangrijke informatie over de veiligheid, het
gebruik en de verwijdering. Maak u voor het gebruik van het product vertrouwd met alle bedienings-en veiligheidsinstructies. Gebruik het product
alleen zoals beschreven en uitsluitend voor de aangegeven doeleinden. Als u het apparaat aan een

De aluminium startkabel, Typ DIN 72553-25, is
voor benzinemotoren met een cilinderinhoud tot
max. 5500 cm

kunnen de gevaren die zich voordoen bij de
omgang van het apparaat niet inschatten of
herkennen.

Houd kinderen tijdens het gebruik van het pro-
duct uit de buurt van het werkgebied.
Dit apparaat kan door kinderen vanaf 8 alsook
personen met verminderde psychische, sensorische of mentale vaardigheden of een gebrek
aan ervaring en / of kennis worden gebruikt, als
zij onder toezicht staan of geïnstrueerd werden

De capaciteit van de stroomgevende startaccu,
bijv. 45 Ah, (auto B) mag niet veel lager dan
de lege accu (auto A) liggen omdat anders het
starten van het voertuig niet mogelijk is. Er be-
staat overhittingsgevaar.
Er mogen uitsluitend accu’s met gelijke nominale
spanning (12 of 24 volt) met de aluminium
startkabel worden verbonden. Anders bestaat
er kortsluitingsgevaar en het gevaar op be-
schadigingen van boordelektronica en elektrische
componenten.
Tussen de voertuigen (auto A en B) mag geen
carrosseriecontact bestaan of gemaakt wor-
den. Anders bestaat er kortsluitingsgevaar.
BRANDGEVAAR! Houd ontste-
kers (bijv. open vuur, brandende
sigaren, sigaretten of elektrische
vonken) verwijderd van de startaccu.
VOORZICHTIG! GEVAAR VOOR
LETSEL! RISICO OP OOGLETSEL! Niet
over de startaccu buigen. De elektrolyt is ook
bij lage temperaturen en onafhankelijk van de
laadtoestand vloeibaar.
De lege startaccu (auto A) mag bij het
starthulpproces niet verwijderd worden van het
bijbehorende boordnet.
De ontstekingen van de voertuigen moeten voor
het aanklemmen van de aluminium startkabel
worden uitgeschakeld en de handrem moet
worden aangetrokken. Zet bij schakelauto’s de
versnelling in de vrij en bij automaten op de
stand ‘P’.
Leg de leidingen van de aluminium startkabels
zo, zodat deze niet door draaiende delen in de
motorkap kunnen worden geraakt.

instructions for use are to be considered as part of
the product. They contain important information
concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using
the product, please familiarise yourself with all of
the safety information and instructions for use. The
product must only be used as described and for the
stated fields of application. If you pass the product
on to third parties, please give them all of the documentation as well.
Intended use
The aluminium jump leads, type DIN 72553-25,
are authorised for petrol engines with a cubic capacity of max. 5500 cm

suitable for use as a starting aid between two vehicles that are both equipped with a 12-volt or 24volt battery. Any other use or modification of the
product constitute non-intended use and pose a risk
of short circuits, fire, electric shocks, damage to the

Danger to life from
electric shock
Before using the aluminium jump lead, always
check it for any possible damage. Do not use
the Aluminium jump lead if you see it is damaged in any way.
CAUTION! Damaged cables represent a risk
to life from electric shock. Contact your service
centre or an electrician if the product is damaged, needs being repaired or has some other
problem with it.
Never open one of the electrical equipment
(cables) or place any objects into them. Such
procedures could put your life at risk from
electric shock.
Safety instructions for
the aluminium jump leads
The capacity of the starter battery that is pro-
viding the power, e.g. 45 A / h, (car B) must
not be significantly lower than the flat starter
battery (car A), if this is not the case it will not
be possible to start the vehicle. There is danger
of overheating.
Only connect batteries of the same nominal
voltage (12 or 24 volt) with the aluminium
jump leads. Otherwise there is danger of short
circuit, as well as danger of damaging the onboard electronics and electrical components.
The bodies of the vehicles (cars A and B) must
not touch. Otherwise there is danger of short
circuit.
FIRE HAZARD! Keep ignition
sources (e.g. open flame, burning
cigars, cigarettes or electric sparks)
away from the starter batteries.
CAUTION! DANGER OF INJURY! DAN-
GER OF EYE INJURIES! Do not bend over
the starter batteries. The electrolyte is also in a
liquid state at low temperatures and regardless
of the charge status.
The flat starter battery (car A) must not be sep-
arated from its corresponding power supply
network during the starting aid process.
The ignitions of the vehicles must be switched
off before thealuminium jump leads cable are
connected, and the parking brake must be engaged. With manual gearboxes, put the gear
lever into the neutral position, with automatic
gearboxes put the gear selector into “P”.
Position the aluminium jump leads in such a
manner that they cannot be caught up in the
moving parts of the engine.

same voltage (12 or 24 volt) and approximately
the same capacity. Compare the label information
on the batteries!

Note: The parts should be as far away as possible form the starter battery in order to prevent any
explosive gas that may develop from being ignited.

Starting
After you have connected the aluminium jump
leads, first switch on the engine of the vehicle
with the donor battery (car B). Then start the
motor of the broken-down vehicle (car A).
Note: After every attempt to start the car - which
should not be longer than 15 seconds - wait for
at least 1 minute. If you cannot start the car after
several attempts, contact a garage.
After successfully starting the broken-down
vehicle (car A) wait for 2 to 3 minutes until the
engine is running smoothly.
Note: Disconnect the aluminium jump leads in the
reverse order to the way they were connected.

When removing the aluminium jump leads,
make sure that they do not come into contact
with the moving parts of the engine.
Note: Do not switch the vehicle that has been aluminium jump started off immediately. Drive the vehicle around for a while so that the battery is recharged
by the alternator.

Care and maintenance
DANGER TO LIFE FROM
ELECTRIC SHOCK! For reasons of electrical
safety, the aluminium jump lead may never be
cleaned with water or other fluids and never be
immersed into water.
After using the aluminium jump lead, always
store it in the storage bag it came in to protect
the product from damp and dirt.
Note: The aluminium jump lead should always be
carried safely in the vehicle.
Do not use any solvents, petrol etc. Otherwise
there is danger of material damage.
Use a dry lint-free cloth for cleaning.
