No coloque el cargador universal de pilas
recargables:
en lugares expuestos directamente a la luz del
sol. En caso contrario, el cargador universal de
pilas recargables podría sobrecalentarse y

¡Peligro de muerte por
descarga eléctrica!
No coloque el cargador universal de pilas
recargables:
directamente junto al agua, p. ej., junto a ba-
ñeras o piscinas. Si entra agua en el cargador
universal de pilas recargables, el aparato se
puede dañar irreparablemente.
Antes de limpiar el cargador universal de pilas
recargables, retire el cable de red de la toma
de corriente. Así evitará una descarga eléctrica.
Si a pesar de toda la prudencia entra agua/
humedad en el cargador universal de pilas
recargables, retire inmediatamente el enchufe
de la toma de corriente.
El aparato está diseñado sólo para
uso interior.
¡Riesgo de lesiones!
¡Mantenga las pilas recargables lejos de los
niños en todo momento! ¡Existe el peligro de
que los niños se las traguen! ¡Existe peligro de
muerte debido a los componentes venenosos
de las pilas recargables!
Nunca deje sin vigilancia el cargador universal
de pilas recargables mientras esté cargando
pilas recargables.
Durante la carga, las pilas recargables pueden
calentarse. No toque nunca las pilas recargables
calientes. En caso contrario, existe peligro de
quemaduras. Por ello, después de la carga,
primero retire de la toma de corriente el cable
de red del cargador universal de pilas recargables. A continuación, deje que las pilas recargables se enfríen antes de sacarlas del cargador
universal de pilas recargables.
Si el cable de red estuviese defectuoso, cám-
bielo inmediatamente en un servicio técnico
para evitar daños.
El cargador universal de pilas recargables no
tiene piezas que el usuario pueda mantener.
¡Si se abre la carcasa del cargador universal
de pilas recargables, la garantía se anulará
inmediatamente! En caso de reparaciones,
diríjase a uno de nuestros servicios técnicos
cercanos.
¡No asumimos ninguna responsabilidad/garan-
tía para daños causados por abrir la carcasa,
intentos de reparación por personal técnico no
cualificado o uso no adecuado del cargador
universal de pilas recargables!
Puede haber escapes de ácidos de las pilas
recargables especialmente en pilas recargables
viejas. Por ello, retire todas las pilas recargables
si no va a utilizar el cargador universal de pilas
recargables durante largo tiempo. Así protegerá
el cargador universal de pilas recargables de
daños causados por fugas de ácido de las
pilas.
Aquellas personas (incluidos niños) con limita-
ciones físicas, sensoriales o psíquicas o sin la
experiencia o los conocimientos suficientes sólo
podrán utilizar el aparato bajo la supervisión de
una persona responsable de su seguridad o
habiendo recibido de esta persona las indicaciones necesarias sobre cómo utilizar el producto.
Los niños deben estar vigilados para evitar que
jueguen con el aparato.

Manejo de las pilas
recargables
No utilice pilas recargables dañadas (corroídas).
Si saliera ácido de las pilas recargables, evite
el contacto con la piel. Puede provocar irritaciones de la piel.
Si ha salido ácido de una pila recargable en
el cargador universal de pilas recargables,
límpielo con un paño seco. ¡Utilice guantes!

Puesta en funcionamiento
Antes de la puesta en funcionamiento, compruebe
que el volumen de suministro esté completo y
no tenga eventuales daños visibles.
Coloque el cargador universal de pilas recar-
gables sobre una base recta, lisa, resistente a
las rayaduras y al resbalamiento.

Puesta en funcionamiento
Compare los datos técnicos con los del explo-
tador de su red eléctrica. Si coinciden, conecte
el cable de red con el enchufe a una toma de
corriente. Los LED parpadearán tres veces en
naranja. El cargador universal de pilas recargables está listo para el funcionamiento.

Carga de pilas recargables
¡Peligro!
Cargue únicamente pilas recargables de los tipos
“Ni-Cd” y “Ni-MH”. Nunca cargue pilas recargables
de otros tipos o pilas no recargables. No están
diseñadas para recargarlas. En caso contrario, el
cargador universal de pilas recargables y las pilas
recargables/no recargables se pueden dañar
irreparablemente. ¡Hay peligro de incendio y de
explosión!
Nota:
Tenga en cuenta la polaridad de las pilas recargables
al insertarlas en las ranuras de carga. De no ser así,
no se cargarán las pilas recargables.
Inserte las pilas recargables en las ranuras de
carga.
Presione las pilas recargables de 9 V en las
ranuras de carga hasta que encajen haciendo
un ruido.
Se puede cargar individualmente de 1 a
8 pilas recargables:
4 tipo C o tipo D en las ranuras de carga 1 a
4 y adicionalmente 2 de 9 V en las ranuras de
carga 5 y 6,
o
6 tipo AA o AAA en las ranuras de carga 1 a
4 y adicionalmente 2 de 9 voltios en las ranuras
de carga 5 y 6.
El proceso de carga comienza. El cargador
universal de pilas recargables tiene un LED para
cada compartimento de la ranura de carga. Los
LED de las respectivas ranuras de carga muestran el estado de carga individual de las pilas
recargables.
En los 5 primeros segundos, el cargador uni-
versal de pilas recargables realiza un test rápido
de capacidad:
Indicador LCD: tipos AAA, AA, C, D. La pantalla
LCD muestra la capacidad de las pilas recargables
con cinco barras.

aprox. 20 - 40 % de carga
aprox. 40 - 60 % de carga
aprox. 60 - 80 % de carga
aprox. 80 - 100 % de carga
Indicador LED: pila de 9 V
- El LED 9 V de la ranura de carga se ilumina
en naranja:
capacidad entre 25 %–80 %.
- El LED de la ranura de carga se ilumina en rojo:
capacidad inferior a 25 %.
- El LED de la ranura de carga se ilumina de
verde:
capacidad por encima de 80 %.
Cuando se ha determinado la capacidad de las
pilas recargables, empieza el proceso de carga.
Los diferentes indicadores tienen
los siguientes significados:
El LED se ilumina de color rojo y de
color verde de forma alterna:
Las pilas recargables se han cargado
(función actualizar).
El LED se ilumina de color verde:
Las pilas recargables se cargan mediante una carga por impulsos con una
corriente de carga reducida.
El LED se ilumina continuamente en rojo:
Se cargarán las pilas.

Las pilas recargables están completamente cargadas.

Nota:
Si en las ranuras de carga externa se cargan pilas
recargables tipo C o D, entonces se mostrará el
estado de funcionamiento del respectivo LED interior.
Las pilas recargables pueden calentarse durante la carga. ¡No toque nunca
las pilas recargables calientes! Existe riesgo de
quemaduras.
Retire el enchufe del aparato cargador universal
de pilas recargables de la toma de corriente y
deje enfriar las pilas recargables.
A continuación puede retirar las pilas recargables
cargadas del cargador universal de pilas recargables.

Este cargador universal de pilas recargables controla el tiempo de carga de pilas recargables de tipo
Ni-Cd y Ni-MH por separado. Dicho control tiene
como razón fundamental –Δ U (“menos delta U”).
Con la delta Δ se designan diferencias en matemáticas.

“Menos Delta U“ significa en este caso una diferencia de tensión negativa.
Esta detección de cierre de carga se aprovecha
para lo siguiente:
Si una pila recargable se carga a corriente constante, su tensión continúa aumentando. Si una pila
recargable está llena, entonces su tensión alcanza,
sin embargo, un máximo y vuelve a caer fácilmente
con un flujo de corriente débil. El equipo electrónico
de carga reconocerá esta caída de tensión débil y
finalizará la carga. El cargador universal de pilas
recargables se conecta automáticamente en “Carga
de mantenimiento”. Esto significa que las pilas recargables ya no se cargarán con corriente continua,
sino con impulsos de corriente cortos. Por eso se
contrarrestará la descarga automática y las pilas
recargables se mantendrán en un estado de carga
completo.

Solucionar fallos
de funcionamiento
El cargador universal de pilas recargables no muestra ninguna función
- Compruebe que el cable de red se haya intro-
ducido correctamente en la toma de corriente.
- Compruebe que hay tensión en la toma de
corriente. Para ello, conecte otro aparato eléctrico que funcione a dicha toma de corriente.
Las pilas recargables colocadas no se
cargan
- Compruebe que las pilas se han colocado
respetando su polaridad.
- Compruebe que ha colocado pilas recargables
adecuadas para cargar en el cargador universal
de pilas recargables. Para cargar son adecuadas únicamente pilas recargables Ni-Cd- y NiMH-de los tipos AAA/AA/C/D y de 9 V.
- Extraiga el cable de red de la toma de corriente
y deje enfriar el aparato, porque el control de
temperatura se ha accionado eventualmente.
El control de temperatura sirve para interrumpir
el proceso de carga cuando una pila recargable
alcanza una temperatura demasiado elevada.

Otros fallos de funcionamiento
Diríjase a uno de nuestros servicios técnicos cercanos en caso de que:
- el fallo de funcionamiento no se pueda reparar
como se ha descrito
- o durante el funcionamiento del cargador universal de pilas recargables haya otros fallos
de funcionamiento.

Limpieza
Limpie la carcasa del cargador universal de
pilas recargables exclusivamente con un paño
seco.
Utilice para la suciedad resistente un paño
ligeramente húmedo. Tenga cuidado de que al
limpiar no entre humedad en el cargador universal de pilas recargables. Nunca limpie el
interior de las ranuras de carga con un paño
húmedo. En vez de ello, utilice para limpiar un
pincel suave limpio. No utilice en ningún caso
productos de limpieza para fregar o productos
químicos.

Eliminación
Nunca deseche el aparato en la
basura doméstica. Este aparato
cumple la directiva europea
2002/96/EC.
Elimine el aparato en un lugar permitido o su centro
de reciclaje de su municipio. Tenga en cuenta las
normativas vigentes. Si tiene dudas, póngase en
contacto con las autoridades responsables del
desecho de basuras.

Las pilas/pilas recargables no deben desecharse
en la basura doméstica. El usuario está obligado
por ley a depositar las pilas/pilas recargables en
un punto de recogida de su municipio/su distrito o
en un comercio.
Esta obligación sirve para que las pilas/pilas recargables puedan eliminarse de forma que no perjudiquen el medio ambiente. Devuelva las pilas/pilas
recargables siempre descargadas.
Deseche los materiales de embalaje de
forma que respeten el medio ambiente.

Garantía y servicio
de asistencia técnica
Este aparato cuenta con una garantía de 3 años a
partir de la fecha de compra. Este aparato se ha
fabricado con mucho cuidado y probado a
conciencia antes de ser suministrado. Guarde el
comprobante de caja como prueba de compra. Si
necesita hacer uso de la garantía, póngase en
contacto con su servicio de atención al cliente.
Sólo así se puede garantizar el envío gratuito de
su mercancía.
La garantía únicamente cubre los defectos de
fabricación o de material y no cubre las piezas de
desgaste ni los daños en piezas frágiles, p. ej., interruptores o pilas recargables. Este producto ha
sido diseñado exclusivamente para el uso privado
y no para el uso industrial.
En caso de un manejo inapropiado e incorrecto,
empleo de fuerza y de intervenciones no realizadas por nuestras sucursales de servicio autorizadas, la garantía queda anulada. Esta garantía no
restringe sus derechos legales.

Non esponete il caricabatteria universale a:
posti con irraggiamento solare diretto. Altrimenti
il caricabatteria potrebbe surriscaldarsi e danneggiarsi definitivamente.
posti vicino a fonti di calore come per esempio
stufe, aeratori o apparecchi simili oppure aperture di aerazione di altri apparecchi elettrici.
Altrimenti il caricabatteria potrebbe danneggiarsi definitivamente.
posti umidi o vicino l’acqua. Altrimenti l’umidità
potrebbe entrare all’interno del caricabatteria
universale. In tal caso c’è il pericolo di scossa
elettrica e di incendio!
Ricaricate esclusivamente batterie ricaricabili
dei tipi “Ni-Cd“ e “Ni-MH“. Non ricaricate mai
batterie di altro tipo oppure batterie non ricaricabili. Queste non sono concepite per essere
ricaricate. Le batterie non ricaricabili potrebbero
riscaldarsi ed esplodere. In tal caso il caricabatteria universale e le batterie inserite potrebbero

danneggiarsi definitivamente. C’è il pericolo di
lesioni!
Pericolo di morte causato da
scossa elettrica!
Non esponete il caricabatteria universale a:
posti vicino l’acqua come per esempio vasche
da bagno o piscine. Se l’acqua entra all’interno
del caricabatteria universale, l’apparecchio può
danneggiarsi definitivamente.
Prima di pulire il caricabatteria universale, stac-
cate la corrente dalla presa elettrica. In questo
modo evitate scosse elettriche. Se nonostante
l’attenzione prestata, dovesse entrare dell’acqua/dell’umidità all’interno del caricabatteria
universale, staccate immediatamente la spina
dalla presa elettrica.
L’apparecchio è concepito soltanto
per l’utilizzo all’interno.
Pericolo di lesioni!
Tenete i bambini lontano da batterie! C’è il
rischio che i bambini ingoino le batterie! C’è il
pericolo di morte a causa dei componenti velenosi delle batterie!
Durante l’operazione di ricarica non lasciate
mai incustodito il caricabatteria universale.
Le batterie possono riscaldarsi durante la ricarica.
Non toccate le batterie roventi! In caso contrario
sussiste il pericolo di scottature! Per questo
motivo dopo la ricarica staccate la spina del
caricabatteria universale dalla presa elettrica.
Poi fate raffreddare le batterie prima di estrarle
dal caricabatteria universale.
Se notate un danneggiamento del cavo elettrico,
per evitare pericoli fatelo sostituire immediatamente da un centro di assistenza.
Il caricabatteria universale è composto da piccoli
pezzi che possono essere mantenuti dall’utente.
Se viene aperta la scatola del caricabatteria
universale, la garanzia scade! Nel caso di
riparazioni rivolgetevi ad un nostro centro di
assistenza vicino a Voi.
Non rispondiamo per danneggiamenti causati
dall’apertura della scatola, da tentativi di riparazioni effettuati da personale non qualificato
o dall’utilizzo non conforme del caricabatteria
universale!
Soprattutto le batterie vecchie possono perdere
acido. Per questo motivo estraete tutte le batterie
quando non utilizzate il caricabatteria universale
per un lungo periodo. In questo modo evitate
danni al caricabatteria universale dovuti alla
fuoriuscita di acido.
Questo apparecchio non può essere utilizzato
da persone (incluso bambini) con capacità
fisiche, sensoriali o psichiche ridotte oppure da
persone che non hanno esperienza e/o conoscenza del prodotto. Ovviamente questo non
vale nei casi in cui queste persone siano supervisionate da persone responsabili per la loro
sicurezza oppure se queste persone vengono
addestrate sull’utilizzo dell’apparecchio.
I bambini vanno supervisionati per garantire
che non giochino con l’apparecchio.

Gestione delle batterie
Non utilizzate batterie danneggiate (corrose).
Se le batterie perdono acido, evitate il contatto

Prima della messa in funzione, controllate se la
confezione contiene tutti i pezzi e verificate se
ci sono dei danneggiamenti visibili.
Posizionate il caricabatteria universale su una
base dritta, piana, antigraffio e antisdrucciolevole.
Confrontate i dati tecnici con quelli del Vostro
distributore di corrente. Se i dati corrispondono,

collegate la spina del cavo elettrico alla presa
elettrica. I LEDs lampeggeranno tre volte di colore arancione. A questo punto il caricabatteria
universale è pronto per essere utilizzato.

Caricare le batterie
Pericolo!
Ricaricate esclusivamente batterie ricaricabili dei tipi
“Ni-Cd“ e “Ni-MH“. Non ricaricate mai batterie di
altro tipo oppure batterie non ricaricabili. Queste
non sono concepite per essere ricaricate. In tal caso
il caricabatteria universale e le batterie inserite
potrebbero danneggiarsi definitivamente. C’è il
pericolo di incendio e di esplosione!
Avviso:
Fate attenzione ad inserire le batterie nei vani di
carica secondo la loro polarità. Altrimenti le batterie
non si ricaricano.
Inserite le batterie nei vani di carica.
Spingete le batterie del tipo 9 V nei vani di
carica fino a quando sentite che si incastrano.
È possibile caricare individualmente da 1
a 8 batterie:
4 x tipo C o tipo D nei vani di carica da 1 a 4,
con inoltre 2 x tipo 9 Volt nei vani di carica
5 e 6,
oppure
6 x tipo AA o AAA nei vani di carica da 1 a 4,
con inoltre 2 x tipo 9 Volt nei vani di carica
5 e 6.
A questo punto inizia l‘operazione di ricarica.
Il caricabatteria universale dispone di un LED
per ogni vano di carica. I LED dei vari vani di
carica indicano lo stato di ricarica delle singole
batterie.
Nei primi 5 secondi, il caricabatteria universale
esegue un test veloce di capacità:
Display LCD: Tipo AAA, AA, C, D. Il display LCD
indica la capacità delle batterie con cinque barre.
ca. 0 - 20 % Carica
ca. 20 - 40 % Carica
ca. 40 - 60 % Carica
ca. 60 - 80 % Carica
ca. 80 - 100 % Carica
Display LED: tipo 9 V
- Il LED 9 V del vano di carica lampeggia arancio:
Capacità tra il 25 % e l’80 %.
- Il LED del vano di carica lampeggia rosso:
Capacità sotto il 25 %.
- Il LED del vano di carica lampeggia verde:
Capacità oltre l’ 80 %.
Una volta stabilita la capacità delle batterie, inizia
il processo di ricarica.
Le diverse indicazioni hanno i seguenti
significati:
Il LED lampeggia alternativamente di
colore rosso e verde:
Gli accumulatori vengono scaricati
(funzione Refresh).
Il LED lampeggia di colore verde:
Gli accumulatori vengono caricati attraverso un caricamento a impulsi che non
affatica l’accumulatore grazie a una
corrente di caricamento ridotta.
Il LED lampeggia rosso fisso:
Le batterie vengono ricaricate.
Il LED lampeggia verde fisso:
Le batterie sono completamente ricaricate.
Il LED lampeggia rosso:
Le batterie non sono state inserite correttamente nel vano di carica oppure sono
difettose.

Avviso:
Se si caricano batterie del tipo C o D nei vani di
carica esterni, lo stato di funzionamento viene
indicato dal rispettivo LED interno.
Durante l‘operazione di
ricarica le batterie potrebbero surriscaldarsi. Non
toccate mai le batterie roventi! Sussiste il pericolo
di scottature!
Staccate la spina del caricabatteria universale
dalla presa elettrica e fate raffreddare le batterie.
Dopodiché potete estrarre le batterie ricaricate dal
caricabatteria.

stato di carica delle batterie. Le seguenti tabelle
riportano i tempi medi di ricarica. Considerate però
che i tempi elencati sono indicativi.

ricarica / carica di mantenimento
Questo caricabatteria universale gestisce separatamente il tempo di ricarica per batterie del tipo Ni-Cd
e Ni-MH. La base di questa gestione è il processo
–Δ U (“meno Delta U“).
Nella matematica il Delta Δ definisce le differenze.
“Meno Delta U“ in questo caso significa una differenza di tensione negativa.
Il riconoscimento di fine ricarica sfrutta i seguenti effetti:
Se una batteria viene ricaricata con corrente costante,
la sua tensione aumenta costantemente. Se una
batteria è invece piena, la sua tensione raggiunge
un massimo e diminuisce leggermente se continua ad
arrivare corrente. L’elettronica di ricarica riconosce
questa piccola caduta di tensione e di conseguenza
la ricarica viene interrotta. Il caricabatteria universale
converte automaticamente a “Carica di mantenimento”. Ciò significa che le batterie non vengono
più caricate con corrente costante ma con brevi
impulsi di corrente. In questo modo si evita che le
batterie si scarichino da sole ed esse vengono
mantenute al livello completo di ricarica.

- Controllate se la spina è inserita correttamente
nella presa della corrente.
- Controllate che la presa della corrente porti
corrente. A tal fine, collegate alla presa della
corrente un altro apparecchio elettronico
funzionante.

Smaltimento
Non buttate l’apparecchio per
nessun motivo nei rifiuti domestici.

Le batterie inserite non si ricaricano
- Controllate se le batterie sono state inserite
con la loro corretta polarità.
- Controllate se avete inserito nel caricabatteria
universale delle batterie ricaricabili. Possono
essere ricaricate esclusivamente batterie ricaricabili Ni-Cd e Ni-MH del tipo AAA/AA/C/D
e 9 V.
- Staccate la spina dalla presa della corrente e
fate raffreddare l’apparecchio in quanto potrebbe
essersi azionato il controllo della temperatura.
Il controllo della temperatura fa sì che l’operazione di ricarica si interrompa al momento che
una delle batterie raggiunge una temperatura
eccessiva.

- se i difetti di funzionamento non possono essere
eliminati con i consigli descritti sopra

Pulizia
Pulite la scatola del caricabatteria universale
esclusivamente con un panno asciutto.
Nel caso di sporco difficile, utilizzate un panno
leggermente umido. Fate attenzione a non fare
entrare umidità nel caricabatteria universale!
Non pulite per nessun motivo l’interno dei vani
Smaltite l’apparecchio attraverso una ditta di smaltimento oppure attraverso il Vostro ente comunale
addetto allo smaltimento. Rispettate i regolamenti
vigenti. Se avete dei dubbi, contattate il Vostro ente
comunale addetto allo smaltimento

Smaltimento di batterie/pile
Le batterie/pile non possono essere buttate nei
rifiuti domestici. Tutti i consumatori sono legalmente
obbligati di consegnare le batterie/pile in un centro
di raccolta del loro comune/quartiere oppure in un
negozio.
Questo obbligo sussiste per fare in modo che le
batterie/pile vengano smaltite in maniera ecologica.
Consegnate soltanto batterie scariche.
Smaltite tutti i materiali d‘imballaggio in
maniera ecologica.

Perigo de morte por
choque eléctrico!
Não coloque o carregador universal:
na proximidade directa de água, por exemplo
em banheiras ou piscinas. Caso entre água
para o carregador universal o aparelho pode
danificar-se de forma irreversível.
Retire o cabo de rede da tomada antes de lim-
par o carregador universal. Desta forma evita
um choque eléctrico. Caso entre água / humidade no carregador universal, apesar de todo
o cuidado, retire imediatamente a ficha de
rede da tomada.
O aparelho é adequado exclusiva-
mente à utilização em espaços interiores.
Perigo de ferimentos!
Guarde as baterias sempre fora do alcance de
crianças! Existe o perigo de as crianças ingerirem as baterias! Existe perigo de morte devido
aos ingredientes tóxicos das baterias!
Nunca deixe o carregador universal sem vigi-
lância durante o processo de carga.
As baterias podem aquecer durante o carrega-
mento. Nunca toque nas baterias quentes! Caso
contrário existe perigo de queimaduras! Por isso,
retire primeiro, após o carregamento, o cabo de
rede do carregador universal da tomada. De
seguida deixe arrefecer as baterias antes de
as retirar do carregador universal.
Se o cabo de rede estiver danificado, e para
evitar danos, deve ser substituído imediatamente
por um representante de assistência técnica.
O carregador universal não possui peças que
necessitem de manutenção por parte do utilizador. Se a caixa do carregador for aberta, a
garantia expira! Dirija-se a um representante
nosso da sua localidade, caso seja necessária
uma reparação.
Não assumimos qualquer responsabilidade /
garantia por danos causados devido a abertura
da caixa, tentativas de reparação por pessoal
não qualificado ou utilização incorrecta do
carregador universal!
Sobretudo em baterias antigas pode ser derra-
mado ácido. Por isso, retire todas as baterias,
caso não utilize o carregador universal por um
período longo. Desta forma protege o carregador
universal de danos causados pelo derrame de
ácido.
Este aparelho não deve ser utilizado por pes-
soas (incluindo crianças) com capacidades físicas, sensoriais ou mentais limitadas ou pessoas
sem experiência e / ou conhecimento, a não ser
que estas sejam vigiadas por alguém responsável pela sua segurança ou deste recebam
instruções acerca do funcionamento do aparelho.
As crianças devem ser vigiadas para assegurar
que não brincam com o aparelho.

Manuseamento de baterias
Não utilize baterias danificadas (corroídas).
Evite o contacto com a pele, caso as baterias
derramem. Isso causa irritações na pele.
Caso uma bateria tenha derramado no carre-
gador universal, limpe-o com um pano seco.

Colocação em funcionamento
Antes da colocação em funcionamento verifique
o material fornecido quanto a integridade e
eventuais danos visíveis.
Coloque o carregador universal sobre um local
direito, plano, resistente a riscos e antiderrapante.
Compare os dados técnicos com os da sua
empresa de energia. Em caso de conformidade,
ligue o cabo de rede com a ficha de rede à
tomada. Os LED iluminam-se a cor de laranja
três vezes. O carregamento universal está operacional.

Carregar baterias
Perigo!
Carregue exclusivamente baterias recarregáveis do
tipo “Ni-Cd” e “Ni-MH”. Nunca carregue baterias
de outros tipos ou pilhas não recarregáveis. Estas
não são adequadas para recarregar. Caso contrário
pode danificar o carregador universal e as baterias /
pilhas colocadas de forma irreversível. Existe perigo
de incêndio assim como de explosão!
Nota:
Tenha em atenção para colocar as baterias nos
compartimentos de carregamento com a polaridade
correcta. Caso contrário, as baterias não carregam.
Coloque as baterias nos compartimentos de
carregamento.
Empurre as baterias do tipo 9 V para os com-
partimentos de carregamento até encaixarem
de forma audível.
Podem ser carregadas individualmente
1 a 8 baterias:
4 x tipo C ou tipo D nos compartimentos de
carregamento 1 a 4, com adicionalmente 2 x
tipo 9 V nos compartimentos de carregamento
5 e 6,
ou
6 x tipo AA ou AAA nos compartimentos de
carregamento 1 a 4, com adicionalmente 2 x
tipo 9 V nos compartimentos de carregamento
5 e 6.
Inicia o processo de carregamento. O carregador
universal possui um LED para cada compartimento do carregador. Os LED do respectivo
compartimento de carregamento indicam o
nível de carregamento de cada bateria.
Nos primeiros 5 segundos, o carregador uni-
versal efectua um teste rápido de capacidade:
aprox. 0 - 20 % do carregamento
aprox. 20 - 40 % do carregamento
aprox. 40 - 60 % do carregamento
aprox. 60 - 80 % do carregamento
aprox. 80 - 100 % do carregamento

As pilhas recarregáveis são carregadas
através de suaves impulsos de carregamento com uma corrente de carga

Retire a ficha de rede do carregador universal
da tomada e deixe arrefecer as baterias.

Controlo automático de carga/
carga de manutenção
Este carregador universal controla separadamente
o tempo de carregamento das baterias do tipo
Ni-Cd e Ni-MH. Este controlo tem como base o
procedimento –Δ U (“menos Delta U”).
Com Delta Δ designam-se diferenças na matemática.
Neste caso, “menos Delta U” significa uma diferença negativa de tensão.
Esta detecção de fim de carregamento tem o
seguinte efeito:
Se uma bateria for carregada constantemente com
corrente, a sua tensão aumenta continuadamente.
Se a bateria estiver cheia, a sua tensão atinge o

máximo e desce ligeiramente se continuar no fluxo
de corrente. Esta descida ligeira de tensão é reconhecida pelo sistema electrónico do carregamento
e termina o processo. O carregador universal muda
automaticamente para “carga de manutenção”.
Isto significa que as baterias já não são carregadas
com corrente continua mas sim com breves impulsos
de corrente. Desta forma é combatida a descarga
autónoma e as baterias são conservadas com o
estado de carga completo.

Eliminar avarias
de funcionamento
O carregador universal não indica
nenhuma função
- Verifique se o cabo de rede está correctamente
ligado à tomada.
- Verifique se a tomada tem corrente. Para isso,
ligue outro aparelho eléctrico em bom estado
à tomada.
As baterias colocadas não são carregadas
- Verifique se as baterias foram colocadas com
a polaridade correcta.
- Verifique se colocou para carregar no carregador
universal as baterias adequadas. Para carregar
são adequadas exclusivamente as baterias
recarregáveis Ni-Cd- e Ni-MH do tipo AAA/
AA/C/D e de 9 V.
- Retire o cabo de rede da tomada e deixe arre-
fecer o aparelho, porque eventualmente foi
accionada a monitorização de temperatura. A
monitorização de temperatura faz com que um
processo de carregamento seja cancelado assim
que uma bateria atinge uma temperatura demasiado elevada.

this could lead to overheating of and irreparable
damage to the universal battery charger.
In the direct vicinity of sources of heat, such as
boilers, ovens, fan heaters and similar devices,
or the ventilation openings of other electrical
devices. Otherwise this could lead to irreparable
damage to the universal battery charger.
In damp environments or in the vicinity of water.
Otherwise moisture could penetrate the universal
battery charger. There is also the risk of electric
shock or fire.
This device is must be used for charging recharge-
able “Ni-Cd” and “Ni-MH” batteries only. Never
charge other types of rechargeable batteries
or single-use, non-rechargeable batteries. These
types of batteries are not suitable for recharging.
Non-suitable or non-rechargeable batteries
could overheat and explode. This could lead to
irreparable damage to the universal battery
charger and the inserted batteries. Risk of injury!

Avoid risk to life from
electric shock!
Do not position the universal battery
charger:
In the direct vicinity of water, e.g. near baths or
swimming pools. If water enters the universal
battery charger, it could result in irreparable
damage to the device.
Before cleaning the universal battery charger,
pull the mains lead plug out of the mains socket.
By taking this precaution, you will avoid an
electric shock. If in spite of these precautions,
water or moisture enters the universal battery
charger, pull the mains plug out of the mains
socket.
The product is intended for use in an
indoor environment.
Risk of injury!
Always keep rechargeable batteries out of reach
of children. There is the risk that children may
swallow batteries! Batteries contain toxic substances that are hazardous to health!
Never leave the universal battery charger
unattended while it is charging.
Batteries can become hot during charging. Never
touch hot batteries! Failure to observe this advice could result in burn injuries! To prevent this,
pull the mains plug out of the mains socket after
charging is complete. Allow the batteries to cool
before you take them out of the universal battery
charger.
If the mains lead is defective, to avoid danger
have it replaced immediately by one of our
service partners.
The universal battery charger contains no user-
serviceable parts. Opening the universal battery
charger‘s housing will invalidate your rights under the warranty! In the event of a repair being
necessary, the device must be taken or sent to
one of our local service partners.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for dam-
age caused by opening the housing, attempted
repairs by persons without suitable qualifications
or improper use of universal battery charger!
Old batteries in particular can leak corrosive
chemicals. To prevent this, you should remove
all batteries from the universal battery charger
if it is not going to be used for an extended
period. This will prevent the universal battery
charger from damage caused by corrosive
chemicals leaking from batteries.
This device is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with restricted physical,
sensory or mental abilities or with insufficient
experience and/or knowledge, unless they are
supervised by a person who is responsible for
their safety or they have received instruction on
how to use the device from such a responsible
person.
Children should be supervised in order to
ensure that they do not play with the device.

Handling rechargeable batteries
Do not use a battery if it is damaged or corroded.
Avoid skin contact with leaky batteries. The
corrosive chemicals leaking from them can lead
to skin irritation.
If a battery in the universal battery charger
starts to leak, clean it with a dry cloth. Wear
protective gloves!

Preparing the product for use
Before using the product for the first time, check
the device and its accessories for completeness
and visible signs of damage.
Place the universal battery charger on a flat,
level, scratch-proof and anti-slip supporting
surface.
Check the technical data against the character-
istics of your mains supply. If the characteristics
match each other, insert the mains plug into a
mains socket. The LEDs flash orange three times.
The universal battery charger is now ready for
use.

Danger!
This device must be used for charging rechargeable
“Ni-Cd” and “Ni-MH” batteries only. Never charge
other types of rechargeable batteries or non-rechargeable batteries. These types of batteries are not suitable for recharging. Non-observance of this advice
could lead to irreparable damage to the universal
battery charger and the inserted batteries.
There is also the risk of fire and explosion!
Note:
Ensure that the batteries are inserted into the charging
bays the right way around (polarity). Otherwise the
batteries will not be charged.
Insert the batteries into the charging bays.
Press 9 V block batteries into the charging
bays until they audibly engage.
From 1 - 8 batteries can be charged
individually as follows:
4 x type C or D batteries in charging bays 1 to
4, with an additional 2 x type 9 volt block
batteries in charging bays 5 and 6,
or
6 x type AA or AAA in charging bays 1 to 4,
with additional 2 x type 9 volt block batteries
in charging bays 5 and 6.
The charging process now starts. The universal
battery charger has one LED for each compartment in a charging bay. The LEDs for each
charging bay shows the state of charge for
each individual battery.
The universal battery charger performs a quick
capacity test in the first 5 seconds:
LCD display: Type AAA, AA, C, D. The LCD display
shows the present capacity of the battery by means
of five bars.

approx. 20 - 40 % charge
approx. 60 - 80 % charge
approx. 80 - 100 % charge
LED indicator: Type 9 V block
- The 9 V LED of the charging bay illuminates
orange:
Capacity between 25 %–80 %.
- The LED of the charging bay illuminates red:
Capacity under 25 %.
- The LED of the charging bay illuminates green:
Capacity over 80 %.
Once the capacity of the battery has been determined, the charging process begins.
The various indicators have the following

charged using a gentle pulse charging
process at a reduced charging current.

suffer burn injuries.
Pull the mains plug of the universal battery
charger out of the mains socket and allow the
batteries to cool.
Then you can take the charged batteries out of the
universal battery charger.

This universal battery charger controls the charging
time for batteries type Ni-Cd and Ni-MH separately.
This control is based on the –Δ U (“minus delta U”)
process.
The delta Δ symbol refers to a mathematical concept
based on “differences“.
In this case, “minus delta U“ means a negative
voltage difference.
This method of recognising the completion of charging makes use of the following effect:
The voltage of a battery being charged using a
constant current continues to rise. As it becomes
completely charged, its voltage reaches a maximum
and then falls slightly if it continues to receive charge.
This slight voltage drop is detected by the electronics
and the normal charging process is halted. The universal battery charger switches itself automatically
to “trickle charging“. This means that the batteries
are no longer charged with a continuous current but
rather with short pulses of current. This counteracts

the batteries‘ normal self-discharge effect and keeps
the batteries in a fully charged state.

Troubleshooting
The universal battery charger does not
appear to work at all
- Check whether the mains lead is properly
plugged into the mains socket.
- Check that the mains socket is supplying power.
Plug a different, properly functioning electrical
device into the mains socket.
The inserted batteries are not being
charged
- Check whether the batteries are inserted the
right way round (polarity).
- Check whether the batteries inserted into the
universal battery charger are of a type suitable
for recharging in the charger. The types of rechargeable batteries suitable for recharging in
the charger are restricted to Ni-Cd and Ni-MH
battery types AAA/AA/C/D and 9 V block.
- Pull the mains lead plug out of the mains socket
and allow the device to cool, as the temperature
monitoring system could have been triggered.
The temperature monitoring system ensures that
the charging process is paused as soon as a
battery temperature exceeds a specified value.

- If other malfunctions occur when you operate
the universal battery charger.
Use a slightly moist cloth to remove any stub-
born dirt. Ensure that no moisture enters the universal battery charger when you are cleaning it.
Never use a moist cleaning method to clean the
inside of the universal battery charger. Use a
clean, soft, thin brush for cleaning here. Never
use scouring or chemical cleaning agents.

Disposal
Under no circumstances should
you throw away the device with
the standard domestic waste. This
product is subject to European
Directive 2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the device at an authorised disposal
centre or your local council disposal facility. Observe
the currently applicable regulations. If you are
uncertain of what to do please contact your local
authority’s refuse disposal department.

Disposing of single-use/
rechargeable batteries
Single-use/rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of as household refuse. Every battery user is
now required to dispose of batteries separately and
not with the household waste, e.g. by separate collection or by taking them to a disposal point operated by your local council, product retailer or
manufacturer.
This arrangement is intended to ensure that singleuse/rechargeable batteries are disposed of in an
environmentally compatible manner and in a
discharged state.
Take all the packaging materials for
environmentally compatible disposal.

Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht:
in unmittelbarer Nähe von Wasser auf, z. B. an
Badewannen oder Swimmingpools. Läuft
Wasser in das Gerät, kann es irreparabel
beschädigt werden.
Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen des Gerätes das
Netzkabel aus der Steckdose. So vermeiden
Sie einen elektrischen Schlag. Sollte trotz aller
Vorsicht Wasser/Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät
eindringen, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose.
Das Gerät ist nur für die Verwendung
in Innenräumen geeignet.
Verletzungsgefahr!
Bewahren Sie Akkus immer außerhalb der
Reichweite von Kindern auf! Es besteht die
Gefahr, dass Kinder Akkus verschlucken! Aufgrund der giftigen Inhaltsstoffe der Akkus besteht Lebensgefahr!
Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Aufladens
von Akkus niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
Die Akkus können beim Aufladen heiß werden.
Berühren Sie niemals heiße Akkus! Anderenfalls
besteht die Gefahr von Verbrennungen! Ziehen
Sie daher nach dem Aufladen zunächst das
Netzkabel des Gerätes aus der Steckdose.
Lassen Sie die Akkus anschließend abkühlen,
bevor Sie sie aus dem Gerät entnehmen.
Wenn das Netzkabel defekt ist, lassen Sie es
durch einen Servicepartner sofort austauschen,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
Das Gerät enthält keine Teile, die vom Benutzer
gewartet werden können. Wird das Gehäuse
des Gerätes geöffnet, so erlischt die Garantie!
Wenden Sie sich im Falle einer Reparatur an
einen unserer Servicepartner in Ihrer Nähe.
Für Schäden durch Öffnen des Gehäuses,
Reparaturversuche durch nicht qualifiziertes
Fachpersonal oder nicht bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung des Gerätes wird keine Haftung /

Insbesondere bei alten Akkus kann es zum Aus-
laufen von Batteriesäure kommen. Entnehmen Sie
daher alle Akkus, wenn Sie das Gerät längere
Zeit nicht benutzen. So schützen Sie das Gerät
vor Schäden durch auslaufende Batteriesäure.
Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch
Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder

Umgang mit Akkus
Benutzen Sie keine beschädigten (korrodierten)
Akkus.
Wenn die Akkus auslaufen, vermeiden Sie
Hautkontakt. Das führt zu Hautirritationen.
Ist ein Akku im Gerät ausgelaufen, reinigen
Sie es mit einem trockenen Tuch. Tragen Sie

Inbetriebnahme
Überprüfen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme den
Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit und eventuell
sichtbare Beschädigungen.
Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einem geraden, ebenen,
kratzfesten und rutschsicheren Untergrund auf.
Vergleichen Sie die technischen Daten mit
denen Ihres Stromnetzbetreibers. Bei Übereinstimmung, schließen Sie das Netzkabel mit
Netzstecker an eine Steckdose an. Die LEDs
blinken dreimal orange auf. Das Gerät ist jetzt
betriebsbereit.

Akkus aufladen
Gefahr!
Laden Sie ausschließlich wiederaufladbare Akkus
der Typen „Ni-Cd“ und „Ni-MH“. Laden Sie niemals
Akkus anderen Typs oder nicht wieder aufladbare
Batterien auf. Diese sind nicht zum Aufladen geeignet.
Anderenfalls können das Gerät und die eingelegten
Akkus / Batterien irreparabel beschädigt werden. Es
besteht die Gefahr eines Brandes sowie Explosionsgefahr!
Hinweis:
Achten Sie darauf, die Akkus entsprechend ihrer
Polarität in die Fächer der Ladeschächte einzulegen.
Anderenfalls werden die Akkus nicht aufgeladen.
ca. 60 - 80 % Ladung
ca. 80 - 100 % Ladung
Anzeige LED: Typ 9-V-Block
- Die 9V LED des Ladeschachts leuchtet orange:
Kapazität zwischen 25 %–80 %.
- Die LED des Ladeschachts leuchtet rot:
Kapazität unter 25 %.
- Die LED des Ladeschachts leuchtet grün:
Kapazität über 80 %.
Ist die Kapazität der Akkus festgestellt, beginnt der
Ladevorgang.
Setzen Sie die Akkus in die Ladeschächte ein.
Drücken Sie die Akkus Typ 9-V-Block in die
Ladeschächte, bis sie hörbar einrasten.
Es können individuell 1 - 8 Akkus geladen
werden:
4 x Typ C oder Typ D in den Ladeschächten
1 bis 4, mit zusätzlich 2 x Typ 9-V-Block in den
Ladeschächten 5 und 6,
oder
6 x Typ AA oder AAA in den Ladeschächten
1 bis 4, mit zusätzlich 2 x Typ 9-V-Block in den
Ladeschächten 5 und 6.
Der Ladevorgang beginnt nun. Das Gerät be-
sitzt je eine LED für jedes Fach im Ladeschacht.
Die LEDs der jeweiligen Ladeschächte zeigen
den Ladezustand der einzelnen Akkus an.
In den ersten 5 Sekunden führt das Gerät
einen Kapazitätsschnelltest durch:
LC-Display: Typ AAA, AA, C, D. Das LC-Display
zeigt die Kapazität des Akkus mit fünf Balken an.
ca. 0 - 20 % Ladung
ca. 20 - 40 % Ladung
ca. 40 - 60 % Ladung
Die verschiedenen Anzeigen haben
folgende Bedeutungen:
Die LED blinkt abwechselnd rot und grün:
Die Akkus werden entladen (RefreshFunktion).
Die LED blinkt grün:
Die Akkus werden durch eine akkuschonende Impulsladung mit einem reduzierten Ladestrom geladen.
Die LED leuchtet durchgehend rot:
Die Akkus werden geladen.
Die LED leuchtet durchgehend grün:
Die Akkus sind vollständig geladen.
Die LED blinkt rot:
Die eingelegten Akkus sind nicht richtig
in den Ladeschacht eingelegt oder defekt.
Hinweis:
Wird in den äußeren Ladeschächten Typ C oder D
geladen, so wird der Betriebszustand von der jeweils
inneren LED angezeigt.
WARNUNG!
Die Akkus können beim
Aufladen heiß werden. Berühren Sie niemals heiße
Akkus! Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr!

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des Gerätes aus der
Steckdose und lassen Sie die Akkus abkühlen.
Anschließend können Sie die geladenen Akkus aus
dem Gerät entnehmen.

Durchschnittliche Ladezeiten
Abhängig von Typ, Alter und Restladezustand der
Akkus dauert der Aufladevorgang unterschiedlich
lange. Die durchschnittlichen Ladezeiten können
Sie nachstehender Tabelle entnehmen. Beachten
Sie jedoch, dass es sich bei den genannten Zeiten
nur um Richtwerte handelt.

Automatische Ladekontrolle/
Erhaltungsladung
Dieses Gerät steuert die Ladezeit für Akkus vom Typ
Ni-Cd und Ni-MH separat. Dieser Steuerung liegt
das –Δ U („minus Delta U“) Verfahren zugrunde.
Mit dem Delta Δ bezeichnet man in der Mathematik
Differenzen. „Minus Delta U“ bedeutet in diesem
Fall eine negative Spannungsdifferenz.
Diese Ladeschlusserkennung macht sich folgenden
Effekt zu nutze:
Wird ein Akku mit konstantem Strom geladen, steigt
seine Spannung immer weiter an. Ist ein Akku voll, so
erreicht seine Spannung jedoch ein Maximum und
fällt bei weiterem Stromfluss wieder leicht ab. Dieser
leichte Spannungsabfall wird von der Ladeelektronik
erkannt und die Ladung wird beendet. Das Gerät
schaltet automatisch auf „Erhaltungsladung“. Das heißt,
die Akkus werden nicht mehr mit Dauerstrom, sondern
mit kurzen Stromimpulsen geladen. Dadurch wird der
Selbstentladung entgegengewirkt und die Akkus
werden in einem vollständigen Ladezustand gehalten.

Das Gerät zeigt keine Funktion
- Überprüfen Sie, ob das Netzkabel richtig in
die Steckdose eingesteckt ist.
- Überprüfen Sie, ob die Steckdose Strom führt.
Schließen Sie dazu ein anderes, funktionstüchtiges
Elektrogerät an diese Steckdose an.

Die eingelegten Akkus werden nicht
aufgeladen
- Überprüfen Sie, ob die Akkus entsprechend
ihrer Polarität eingelegt wurden.
- Überprüfen Sie, ob Sie zum Aufladen geeignete
Akkus in das Gerät eingelegt haben. Zum Aufladen geeignet sind ausschließlich ladefähige
Ni-Cd- und Ni-MH-Akkus der Typen AAA/AA/
C/D und 9-V-Block.
- Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose
und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, da eventuell
die Temperaturüberwachung ausgelöst wurde.
Die Temperaturüberwachung sorgt dafür, dass
der Ladevorgang abbricht, sobald ein Akku
eine zu hohe Temperatur erreicht.

- sich die Funktionsstörungen nicht wie beschrieben
beheben lassen
- oder beim Betrieb des Gerätes andere Funktionsstörungen auftreten.

Reinigen
Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse des Gerätes aus-
schließlich mit einem trockenen Tuch.
Benutzen Sie bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen
ein leicht angefeuchtetes Tuch. Achten Sie darauf, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit
in das Gerät eindringt! Reinigen Sie das Innere
der Ladeschächte keinesfalls feucht. Benutzen
Sie zum Säubern stattdessen einen sauberen,
weichen Pinsel. Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall
scheuernde oder chemische Putzmittel.

Entsorgen
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls
in den normalen Hausmüll. Dieses
Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EC.
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall
mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.

Batterien/Akkus entsorgen
Batterien/Akkus dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt
werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpflichtet,
Batterien/Akkus bei einer Sammelstelle seiner
Gemeinde/seines Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben.
Diese Verpflichtung dient dazu, dass Batterien/
Akkus einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt werden können. Geben Sie Batterien/Akkus
nur im entladenen Zustand zurück.
Führen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien
einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu.
