1.Shutofftheengine,waitforallmovingpartsto
stop,andallowthemachinetocool.

2.Disconnectthespark-plugwirefromthespark
plug(Figure1).

2.Usingthehexwrench,removethe2screws
securingthebearinghousingandthereelshaft
fromtherightsideofthemachine(Figure3).

Note:Retainallremovedpartsforlater

installation.

Wearpaddedgloveswhenworkingwiththe
shaftassembly.

Thescarierincludesabladeshaftassemblyfor
scarifyingandaseparatetineshaftassemblyfor
aeration.

1.Removethehexwrenchfromthetransportlever
assembly(Figure2).
