3 POWER SUPPLY

1. BATTERY OPERATION

– REMOVE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT DOOR. – INSERT 8 PIECES UM-2 (C SIZE) BATTERIES INTO THE BATTERY

COMPARTMENT WITH BATTERY POLARITY POSITIONED AS INDICATED.

NOTE: WE RECOMMEND THE USE OF ALKALINE BATTERIES. – CLOSE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT DOOR.

2. AC OPERATION

- PLUG THE AC LINE CORD INTO ANY NORMAL HOUSEHOLD AS MAINS OUTLET IN CORRECT VOLTAGE AND THE MAINS SOCKET.

- THE BATTERIES WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DISCONNECTED.

3.1 SWITCHING ON THE UNIT Press the STANDBY/FUNC. buon on the front cabinet to turn on unit.

Note: If you don’t use the unit for a long time, disconnect the AC power cord from

the household wall outlets.

Note: In CD/MP3/USB/AUX/CASSETTE mode, when the unit is not providing the

main function for around 15 minutes, the unit will automatically switch into standby mode. Press the STANDBY/FUNC. buon to turn on the unit again.

Please note that low volume seing in the audio source may be recognized as “no audio signal”, this will aect the capability of signal detection from the device and can also originate an automatic switch into standby mode. If this happens please reactivate the audio signal transmission or increase the volume seing on the audio source player in order to resume playback.

Electrostatic Discharge hints – The unit may reset or may not reset to normal operation mode due to electrostatic discharge, just switch it o and reconnect again.

4 BASS BOOST SYSTEM

The DBBS BUTTON controls the bass of the unit. Bass sound is the lower frequency ranges of sound. The knob can be pushed to OFF or ON position, When the DBBS is on, the unit boosts (increases) the sound output of the bass frequencies.

5 DAB RADIO OPERATION

DAB radio mode receives DAB/DAB+ digital radio and displays information about the station and programmed/track as broadcast. Press the FUNCTION buon until display reads “Welcome to DAB”.

5.1 Scanning for stations

1. To do a full scan, press the STOP/MENU buon to enter menu selection, rotate the tuning control or press the or buon to select the “Full scan” option and press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon on the unit. Once a full scan is complete, the radio returns to play the previously-selected station or ﬁrst station on the station list.

2. To choose between the scanned station list, press the or buon to scroll through the list of stations and press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/ SCAN buon to conﬁrm. The Now playing screen will display the new station details.

3. To remove stations that are listed but unavailable, press the STOP/MENU buon to enter menu selection, rotate the tuning control or press the or

buon to select the “Prune” option and press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/ SCAN buon to enter, press the or buon to choose YES or NO option, then press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to conﬁrm. This removes all invalid stations, indicated in the station list with a “?” in front of the station name.

5.2 Preset stations

> To store a station in a preset memory, tune to the station that you want to

save as a preset, then press and hold the MEM./P-MODE buon on the unit until the display shows “Preset Store”. Rotate the tuning control or press the

or buon to choose a preset memory position (for example, “Preset

1”), then press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to conﬁrm. Repeat this operation to save up to 30 preset stations.

5.3 Manual tune

> To do a manual tune, press the STOP/MENU buon to enter menu selection,

rotate the tuning control or press the or buon to select the “Manual tune” option and press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to conﬁrm. Rotate the tuning control to tune to the desired stations.

5.4 Now playing information

While a station is playing, the screen shows its name and DLS (Dynamic Label Segment) information broadcast by the station such as program name, track title and contact details.

> To view further information, press the FOLD+/+10/INFO/M+ buon on the

unit each time to show next set of information, cycling through: DLS text, DL Plus information (this is only displayed if broadcast by the station), signal strength, program type, ensemble name, channel number/frequency, signal error rate and bit rate.

5.5 Dynamic range compression (DRC)

This function helps to reduce the dierence between the loudest and quietest audio being broadcast. Eectively, this makes quite sounds comparatively louder and loud sounds comparatively quieter. There are 3 options in this seing, the options available are: DRC high/low/o.

> To change the DRC seing, press the STOP/MENU buon to enter menu

selection, select the “DRC” option then rotate the tuning control or press the

or buon to choose a desired option and press the PLAY/PAUSE/

SELECT/SCAN buon to conﬁrm.

6 FM RADIO OPERATION

> Listen to FM radio broadcasts. Press the STANDBY/FUNC. buon until the

display reads FM and the radio frequency

6.1 TUNING TO A RADIO STATION

If you know the station frequency that you want to tune to directly: > Tune to a station by rotating the TUNING knob. The station frequency is

shown on the display.

6.2 AUTO PRESET MEMORY/SCAN

> To scan for stations within reception range and save them to preset memory

automatically, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon. Aer the unit is ﬁnished scanning, the unit will automatically tune to preset number 1 (P1). Press and hold the FOLD+/+10/INFO/M+ buon to select the preset stations.

7 CASSETTE OPERATION

7.1 PLAYBACK OF CASSETTE

> Be sure to tighten any slack tape in the cassee before use, using either a

pencil or a ballpoint pen, simply insert the pen or pencil into the center of spool and rotate to remove slacks. Depress the STOP/EJECT buon to open the cassee door.

> Insert the cassee into the compartment with the open end facing upwards

and the full reel on the le hand side, push the cassee well down and close the door, be sure not to touch the tape surface, Set the Function switch to “TAPE” position and press the cassee play buon. To stop playback, press the STOP/EJECT buon once. To release the cassee, press the STOP/EJECT buon again.

7.2 AUTO STOP

When the tape reaches the end during playback or recording, the built-in auto stop system will release the depressed play, record keys. The auto stop system operates while recording from the built-in radio or CD player, only the cassee function is brought automatically to stop mode and the radio or CD player will continue to play.

7.3 TYPES OF CASSETTE

> Use only good quality cassees (IEC TYPE 1) for making recordings. May

be used to replay other types of cassee but is unable to make proper recording on these more specialized tapes.

> The use of C120 cassees is NOT recommended in this machine.

7. 4 PROTECTING RECORDING

Normally, anything recorded on the tape is automatically erased when new recording is made. It is possible to protect your recording from accidental erasure by removing the tabs found on the rear of the cassee.

When the cassee is held with the recorded side upper-most and exposed tape facing the front, the protective tab will be found on the le rear of the cassee. All pre-recorded cassee are protected in this way to prevent accidental erasure of the commercial recording. “Protected” cassee will prevent the record buon from being operated. If at any time you aempt to record and ﬁnd that this buon will not depress, never force the mechanism or it may be damaged. Check that a cassee has been loaded and that tab has not been removed. Recording on a cassee from which the tabs have been removed can be done by covering the tab openings with a piece of adhesive tape.

7.5 CARE OF CASSETTE MECHANISM

> Gently clean the tape head and pinch wheel/capstan assemblies aer every

10 hours of using the unit. A range of cassee care products are available.

> The erase head and record/play head and the surface of the pinch roller are

delicate and must not be touched with metal objects such as screwdrivers. You may ﬁnd it easier to clean the assembly by pressing the PLAY buon to bright head and pinch roller into view. Be sure to press the STOP buon aer cleaning the mechanism.

> Damage to the pinch wheel can occur if the unit is le in PLAY mode

with the power switch o. Under no circumstances should you aempt to lubricate any part of the machine.

8 CD OPERATION

8.1 Discs for Playback

This system can playback all digital audio CD/MP3/WMA discs, ﬁnalized digital audio CD-Recordable (CD-R) discs and ﬁnalized digital audio CD-Rewritable (CD-RW) discs.

8.2 LOADING A DISC

1. Select the CD mode with STANDBY/FUNC. Buon. The following will appear in the display “CD mode”.

2. Open the CD door. “OPEN” will be shown on the display.

3. Place an audio CD/MP3 into the tray with the label side facing up.

4. Close the CD door. The total number of tracks will appear on the display aer several seconds and will playback.

5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to pause, the display ﬂashing.

6. To release the pause, press again the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon.

7. Press STOP/MENU buon to stop playback completely.

Note:

> To ensure good system performance; wait until the disc tray completely

reads the disc before proceeding.

> The number of folders and the number of tracks will be shown with CDs in

the MP3 format.

> If no disc is loaded into the compartment, or the disc is placed upside down,

the display will show “NO DISC”.

8.3 REPEAT PLAY

You can play one track or all tracks on the disc repeatedly.

To Repeat a Single Track

1. Press the MEM./P-MODE buon once in play, “REP-1” shows on the display. The current track will be played over and over again till you press the STOP/ MENU buon.

2. To cancel repeat play, press MEM./P-MODE buon until “REP-1“ disappears from display.

To repeat all the Tracks

1. Press the MEM./P-MODE buon once in play, “REP-ALL” shows on the display. All songs will be played over and over again till you press the STOP/ MENU buon.

2. To cancel repeat play, press MEM./P-MODE buon until “REP-ALL“ disappears from display.

To repeat the Folder (only for MP3 disc which contains more than one folder)

1. Press the MEM./P-MODE buon once in play, “REP-ALBUM” shows on the display. The current folder will be played over and over again till you press the STOP/MENU buon.

2. To cancel repeat play, press MEM./P-MODE buon until “REP-ALBUM“ disappears from display.

8.4 RANDOM PLAY

1. Press the MEM./P-MODE buon once in play, “RANDOM“ shows on the display. The unit will stop to search a track (song) randomly and start playback from this track, then select another in random order until all tracks are played over and then stop.

2. To cancel repeat play, press MEM./P-MODE buon until “RANDOM“ disappears from display.

8.5 INTRO PLAY

1. Press the MEM./P-MODE buon once in play, “INTRO“ shows on the display. Each track is played for 10seconds respectively.

2. To cancel repeat play, press MEM./P-MODE buon until “INTRO“ disappears from display.

8.6 PROGRAM TRACKS

Programming tracks of disc are possible when playback is stopped. Up to CD 20 tracks /MP3 99 tracks can be stored in the memory in any order.

1. In stop mode, press the MEM./P-MODE buon, the MEMORY and P01 will show on the display.

2. Press the CD SKIP/SEARCH FORWARD buon to select the ﬁrst desired track to be programmed.

3. Press the MEM./P-MODE buon to enter. The display changes to show P02.

4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 to store other desired tracks until all tracks are programmed.

5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to start playback from the ﬁrst programmed track.

6. Press the STOP/MENU buon to stop program playback.

8.6.1 Erase the Memory (Program)

To clear the program, you have two options:

1. Press STOP/MENU buon in stop mode, or

2. Open the CD compartment lid, program will be erased.

9 USB OPERATION

1. Press STANDBY/FUNC. buon, USB mode shown on the display.

2. Connect the USB to the USB INPUT. The unit will display total number of tracks stored inside the USB, the playback stars from track 1 automatically aer reading the USB.

3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to temporarily stop. The track number will ﬂash.

4. Press the STOP/MENU buon to stop playing. The display will show total number of tracks.

5. Proceed repeat play (repeat 1/repeat all/repeat folder)/program play/ random play/skip up and down operation as the same described in above “CD OPERATION”.

CAUTION:

> Do not use any USB extension cable for connecting the USB stick which may

cause harmful interference

> In case of malfunction due to electrostatic discharge, just reset the product

(reconnect of power source may be required) to resume normal operation.

10 AUX-IN OPERATION

This unit has provided special AUX-IN jack, through this jack other audio sources can be connected to this unit and be ampliﬁed.

1. Press STANDBY/FUNC. buon, AUX mode shown on the display.

2. Connect the audio cable into the AUX-IN jack and the other end connect to the AUDIO OUT jack of the external audio source. The unit will change to AUX mode automatically.

3. Adjust the volume of the main unit to your desired level.

4. Press PLAY of the external audio source (eg. MP3 player) to start playback.

11 System

The system seing allows you to select display languages, reset to factory seings and view the soware version.

11.1 Language

To select language for display messages from: Deutsch, English, Dansk, Français, Italiano, Norsk, Suomi, Svenska.

> Press the STOP/MENU buon to enter menu selection, rotate the tuning

control or press the or buon to select the “System” option and press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to enter, select “Language” then rotate the tuning control or press the or buon to choose the desired language to be displayed, then press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to conﬁrm.

11.2 Factory reset

Factory reset can help to clear all user deﬁned seings, replacing them with the original default values, including the DAB station list and preset stations.

> Press the STOP/MENU buon to enter menu selection, rotate the tuning

control or press the or buon to select the “System” option and press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to enter, select “Factory reset” then rotate the tuning control or press the or buon to choose YES or NO option, then press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to conﬁrm.

11.3 Soware version

This displays the current soware version. > Press the STOP/MENU buon to enter menu selection, rotate the tuning

control or press the or buon to select the “System” option and press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to enter, select “SW version” then press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN buon to view the current soware version.

3 ALIMENTATION

2. ALIMENTATION SECTEUR

3.1 MISE SOUS TENSION DE L'UNITÉ

Appuyez sur la touche VEILLE/MODE à l'avant du boîtier pour mere l'unité sous tension. Remarque : Si vous n'utilisez pas l'unité pendant une longue période, débranchez

le cordon d'alimentation CA de la prise secteur murale.

Remarque : En mode CD/MP3/USB/AUX/CASSETTE, si l'unité n'est pas alimentée via

le secteur pendant environ 15 minutes, elle passe automatiquement en mode veille. Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche VEILLE/MODE pour remere l'unité sous tension.

Veuillez noter qu'un volume faible de la source audio peut être interprété comme une absence de signal audio, ce qui peut aecter la capacité de détection du signal de l'appareil et entraîner un passage automatique en mode veille. Si cela se produit, veuillez réactiver la transmission du signal audio ou augmenter le volume du lecteur pour reprendre la lecture.

Décharges électrostatiques – L'unité peut repasser ou ne pas repasser en mode de fonctionnement normal en raison d'une décharge électrostatique. Il vous sut alors de la mere hors tension puis de nouveau sous tension.

4 SYSTÈME D'AMPLIFICATION DES BASSES (DBBS)

La touche DBBS contrôle les basses de l'unité. Les basses sont les sons dont la plage de fréquence est la plus basse. Le bouton peut être actionné en position ARRÊT ou MARCHE. Lorsque la fonction DBBS est en marche, l'unité ampliﬁe les sons des basses fréquences.

5 MODE RADIO DAB

Le mode radio DAB permet de recevoir la radio numérique DAB/DAB+ et d'acher les informations relatives à la station et au programme/titre diusé. Appuyez sur la touche MODE jusqu'à ce que l'écran ache «Welcome to DAB» (Bienvenue en mode DAB).

5.1 Recherche de stations

1. Pour eectuer une recherche complète, appuyez sur la touche STOP/MENU

pour entrer dans les options du menu, tournez le bouton de syntonisation ou appuyez sur la touche ou pour sélectionner l'option «Full scan» (Recherche complète). Enﬁn, appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/ SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER de l'unité. Une fois la recherche complète eectuée, la radio reprend la diusion de la station précédemment sélectionnée ou de la première station de la liste.

2. Pour choisir parmi les stations de la liste, appuyez sur la touche ou

pour parcourir la liste des stations et appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/

PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour conﬁrmer. L'écran de diusion en cours ache les détails de la nouvelle station.

3. Pour supprimer les stations répertoriées mais indisponibles, appuyez sur

la touche STOP/MENU pour entrer dans le menu. Tournez le bouton de syntonisation ou appuyez sur la touche ou pour sélectionner l'option «Prune» (Élaguer). Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/ RECHERCHER pour entrer, puis sur la touche ou pour choisir OUI ou NON. Enﬁn, appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/ RECHERCHER pour conﬁrmer. Cela supprime toutes les stations non valides, indiquées dans la liste des stations par un « ?» devant le nom de la station.

5.2 Stations prédéﬁnies

> Pour mémoriser une station dans la mémoire, réglez la station que vous

désirez enregistrer puis appuyez sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) de l'unité et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu'à ce que l'écran ache le message «Preset Store» (Préréglage enregistré). Tournez le bouton de syntonisation ou appuyez sur la touche ou pour choisir une position de mémorisation (par exemple, « Preset 1»), puis appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour conﬁrmer. Répétez cee opération pour enregistrer jusqu'à 30 stations prédéﬁnies.

5.3 Syntonisation manuelle

> Pour eectuer une syntonisation manuelle, appuyez sur la touche STOP/

MENU pour entrer dans les options du menu, tournez le bouton de

syntonisation ou appuyez sur la touche ou pour sélectionner l'option «Manual tune» (Syntonisation manuelle). Enﬁn, appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER de l'unité pour conﬁrmer. Tournez le bouton de syntonisation pour régler les stations de votre choix.

5.4 Informations sur la lecture en cours

Lorsqu'une station est en cours de diusion, l'écran ache son nom et les informations DLS (texte radio) diusées par la station, comme le nom du programme, le titre de la chanson et les coordonnées.

> Pour acher plus d'informations, appuyez sur la touche FOLD+/+10/

INFO/M+ de l'unité pour acher un nouvel ensemble d'informations, dans cet ordre : DLS (texte radio), informations DL Plus (uniquement si ces informations sont diusées par la station), puissance du signal, type de programme, nom de l'ensemble, numéro du canal/de la fréquence, taux d'erreur de signal et débit.

5.5 Compression de la gamme dynamique (DRC)

Cee fonction permet de réduire la diérence entre les sons les plus forts et les plus faibles en cours de diusion. Cela fait paraître les sons faibles plus forts et les sons forts plus faibles. Ce paramètre comprend 3 options : DRC high (élevé)/low (bas)/ o (désactivé).

> Pour modiﬁer le paramètre DRC, appuyez sur la touche STOP/MENU pour

entrer dans les options du menu, sélectionnez l'option «DRC » (Compression de la gamme de fréquences) puis tournez le bouton de syntonisation ou appuyez sur la touche ou pour choisir une option. Enﬁn, appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour conﬁrmer.

6 MODE RADIO FM

> Écoutez les programmes de radio FM. Appuyez sur la touche VEILLE/MODE

jusqu'à ce que l'écran ache FM accompagné de la fréquence radio.

6.1 SYNTONISATION D'UNE STATION DE RADIO

Si vous connaissez la fréquence de la station à syntoniser : > Réglez une station en tournant le bouton SYNTONISATION La fréquence de

la station s'ache à l'écran.

6.2 RECHERCHE/MÉMORISATION AUTOMATIQUE

> Pour rechercher des stations à portée de réception et les enregistrer

automatiquement dans la mémoire, appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/ SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER et maintenez-la enfoncée. Une fois la recherche terminée, l'unité va automatiquement syntoniser le numéro prédéﬁni 1 (P1). Appuyez sur la touche FOLD+/+10/INFO/M+ et maintenez-la enfoncée pour sélectionner les stations prédéﬁnies.

7 MODE CASSETTES

7.1 LECTURE DE CASSETTES

> Assurez-vous de bien tendre la bande dans la cassee avant utilisation, à

l'aide d'un crayon ou d'un stylo à bille. Insérez simplement le stylo ou le crayon au centre de la bobine et tournez pour tendre la bande. Enfoncez le bouton STOP/EJECT (Arrêt/Éjecter) pour ouvrir le lecteur de cassees.

> Insérez la cassee dans le compartiment en orientant la partie ouverte vers le

haut et la bobine pleine du côté gauche. Enfoncez bien la cassee et refermez le lecteur sans toucher la surface de la bande. Réglez le bouton MODE sur la position «TAPE» (Cassee) et appuyez sur la touche de lecture de la cassee. Pour arrêter la lecture, appuyez une fois sur la touche STOP/EJECT (Arrêt/Éjecter). Pour libérer la cassee, appuyez de nouveau sur la touche

STOP/EJECT (Arrêt/Éjecter).

7.2 ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE

Lorsque la cassee arrive à la ﬁn de la bande pendant la lecture ou l'enregistrement, le système d'arrêt automatique intégré libère les touches de lecture et d'enregistrement. Le système d'arrêt automatique fonctionne pendant l'enregistrement depuis la radio ou le lecteur CD, mais la cassee est en mode d'arrêt automatique alors que la radio ou le lecteur CD continuent de diuser de la musique.

7.3 TYPES DE CASSETTES

> Utilisez uniquement des cassees de bonne qualité (CEI TYPE 1) pour les

enregistrements. L'unité peut être utilisée pour lire d'autres types de cassees mais ne pourra pas eectuer de bons enregistrements sur des cassees plus spéciﬁques.

> Nous ne recommandons PAS d'utiliser des cassees C120 dans cee machine.

7. 4 PROTECTION DE L'ENREGISTREMENT

Généralement, tout enregistrement sur cassee est automatiquement eacé lorsqu'un nouvel enregistrement est eectué. Il est possible de protéger votre enregistrement des eacements accidentels en cassant les languees à l'arrière de la cassee.

Tenez la cassee en orientant le côté enregistré vers le haut et la bande exposée en avant, la languee de protection se trouve alors à gauche, à l'arrière de la cassee. Toutes les cassees préenregistrées sont protégées de cee manière aﬁn d'éviter tout eacement accidentel du contenu commercial. Sur une cassee « protégée», le bouton d'enregistrement ne peut pas être actionné. Si vous essayez d'enregistrer et constatez que ce bouton ne peut pas être actionné, ne forcez jamais sur le mécanisme sous peine de l'endommager. Vériﬁez qu'une cassee a été chargée et que la languee n'a pas été retirée. Un enregistrement sur une cassee dont les languees ont été retirées est possible en couvrant les ouvertures à l'aide d'un morceau de ruban adhésif.

7.5 ENTRETIEN DU MÉCANISME DU LECTEUR DE CASSETTES

> Neoyez doucement la tête de la cassee et les ensembles rouleau pinceur/

rouleau tenseur toutes les dix heures d'utilisation de l'unité. Une gamme de produits d'entretien pour cassees est disponible.

> La tête d'eacement et la tête d'enregistrement/lecture, ainsi que la surface

du rouleau pinceur, sont délicates et ne doivent pas être manipulées avec des objets en métal, comme des tournevis. Il peut être plus simple de neoyer l'ensemble en appuyant sur la touche LECTURE, ce qui amène la tête et le rouleau pinceur dans le champ de vision. Assurez-vous d'appuyer sur la touche STOP après avoir neoyé le mécanisme.

> Le rouleau pinceur peut être endommagé si l'unité reste en mode LECTURE

alors qu'elle est hors tension. N'essayez en aucun cas de lubriﬁer les pièces de la machine.

8 MODE CD

8.1 Lecture de disques

Ce système peut lire tous les disques audio numériques CD/MP3/WMA, les disques audio numériques enregistrables (CD-R) et les disques audio numériques réinscriptibles (CD-RW).

8.2 CHARGEMENT D'UN DISQUE

1. Sélectionnez le mode CD avec la touche VEILLE/MODE . Le message «CD mode» (Mode CD) apparaît à l'écran.

2. Ouvrez le lecteur CD. «OPEN» (Ouverture) apparaît à l'écran.

3. Placez un CD audio/MP3 sur le plateau, en orientant la partie sérigraphiée vers le haut.

4. Fermez le lecteur CD. Le nombre total de pistes apparaît à l'écran après quelques secondes et la lecture se lance.

5. Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour mere en pause. L'écran clignote.

6. Pour reprendre la lecture, appuyez de nouveau sur la touche LECTURE/ PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER.

7. Appuyez sur la touche STOP/MENU pour arrêter complètement la lecture.

Remarque :

> Pour garantir une performance optimale du système, aendez que le lecteur

ait entièrement lu le disque avant de continuer.

> Le nombre de dossiers et de pistes s'ache pour les CD au format MP3. > Si aucun disque n'est chargé dans le compartiment ou s'il est placé dans le

mauvais sens, l'écran ache «NO DISC» (Pas de disque).

8.3 LECTURE EN BOUCLE

Vous pouvez lire en boucle une piste ou l'ensemble des pistes du disque.

Pour répéter une seule piste

1. Appuyez une fois sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) pendant la lecture. L'écran ache «REP-1» (Répéter 1). La piste en cours de lecture sera lue en boucle jusqu'à ce que vous appuyez de nouveau sur la touche STOP/MENU.

2. Pour annuler la lecture en boucle, appuyez sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./ Mode de lecture) jusqu'à ce que «REP-1» (Répéter 1) disparaisse de l'écran.

Pour répéter l'ensemble des pistes

1. Appuyez une fois sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) pendant la lecture. L'écran ache «REP ALL » (Répéter tout). Toutes les chansons seront lues en boucle jusqu'à ce que vous appuyez sur la touche STOP/MENU.

2. Pour annuler la lecture en boucle, appuyez sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) jusqu'à ce que «REP-ALL » (Répéter tout) disparaisse de l'écran.

Pour répéter le dossier (uniquement pour les disques au format MP3 contenant plusieurs dossiers)

1. Appuyez une fois sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) pendant la lecture. L'écran ache «REP ALBUM » (Répéter l'album). Le dossier en cours de lecture sera lu en boucle jusqu'à ce que vous appuyez de nouveau sur la touche STOP/MENU.

2. Pour annuler la lecture en boucle, appuyez sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) jusqu'à ce que «REP-ALBUM » (Répéter l'album) disparaisse de l'écran.

8.4 LECTURE ALÉATOIRE

1. Appuyez une fois sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) pendant la lecture. L'écran ache «RANDOM » (Aléatoire). L'unité va cesser de lancer les pistes (chansons) dans l'ordre et lancer la lecture à partir de la piste en cours. Puis elle sélectionnera une autre piste au hasard jusqu'à ce que toutes les pistes soient lues avant de s'arrêter.

2. Pour annuler la lecture aléatoire, appuyez sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) jusqu'à ce que « RANDOM » (Aléatoire) disparaisse de l'écran.

8.5 LECTURE DE L'INTRO

1. Appuyez une fois sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) pendant la lecture. L'écran ache «INTRO». Chaque piste est lue pendant 10 secondes.

2. Pour annuler la lecture de l'intro, appuyez sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) jusqu'à ce que « INTRO » disparaisse de l'écran.

8.6 PROGRAMMATION DE PISTES

Programmer les pistes d'un disque est possible lorsque la lecture est arrêtée. Jusqu'à 20 pistes (CD)/99 pistes (MP3) peuvent être mémorisées dans n'importe quel ordre.

1. À l'arrêt, appuyez sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture). MEMORY (Mémoire) et P01 s'achent à l'écran.

2. Appuyez sur la touche PISTE SUIVANTE/RECHERCHE AVANT pour sélectionner la première piste à programmer.

3. Appuyez sur la touche MEM./P-MODE (Mém./Mode de lecture) pour conﬁrmer. L'écran ache maintenant P02.

4. Répétez les étapes 2 et 3 pour mémoriser d'autres pistes jusqu'à ce que vous ayez terminé votre programmation.

5. Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour lancer la lecture de la première piste programmée.

6. Appuyez sur la touche STOP/MENU pour arrêter complètement la lecture programmée.

8.6.1 Eacement de la mémoire (programmation)

Pour eacer la programmation, deux méthodes sont possibles :

1. Appuyez sur la touche STOP/MENU à l'arrêt, ou

2. Ouvrez le compartiment à CD et la programmation s'eace.

9 MODE USB

1. Appuyez sur la touche VEILLE/MODE, USB mode (Mode USB) apparaît à l'écran.

2. Branchez la clé USB au PORT USB. L'unité ache le nombre total de pistes mémorisées sur la clé USB. La lecture commence automatiquement à la première piste.

3. Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour arrêter temporairement la lecture. Le numéro de la piste clignote.

4. Appuyez sur la touche STOP/MENU pour arrêter la lecture. L'écran ache le nombre total de pistes.

5. Pour la lecture en boucle (Répéter 1/Répéter tout/Répéter le dossier), la lecture programmée, la lecture aléatoire, avancer ou reculer d'une piste, reportez-vous aux instructions de la section ci-dessus « MODE CD».

ATTENTION :

> N'utilisez pas de rallonge USB pour brancher la clé USB sous peine de causer

des interférences.

> En cas de dysfonctionnement dû à une décharge électrostatique, réinitialisez

tout simplement le produit (il peut être nécessaire de rebrancher la source d'alimentation) pour reprendre un fonctionnement normal.

10 MODE ENTRÉE AUX

Cee unité dispose d'une prise spéciale ENTRÉE AUX qui permet de brancher d'autres sources audio à cee unité et de les ampliﬁer.

1. Appuyez sur la touche VEILLE/MODE. AUX mode (Mode AUX) apparaît à l'écran.

2. Branchez le câble audio à la prise AUX-IN (Entrée AUX) et l'autre extrémité à la prise AUDIO OUT (Sortie AUDIO) de la source audio externe. L'unité passe automatiquement en mode AUX.

3. Ajustez le volume de l'unité principale au niveau souhaité.

4. Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE de la source audio externe (par ex. lecteur MP3) pour lancer la lecture.

11 Système

Les paramètres du système vous permeent de sélectionner la langue de l'achage, de réinitialiser l'unité aux paramètres d'usine et d'acher la version du logiciel.

11.1 Langue

Pour sélectionner la langue des messages : allemand, anglais, danois, français italien, norvégien, ﬁnnois, suédois.

> Appuyez sur la touche STOP/MENU pour entrer dans le menu. Tournez

le bouton de syntonisation ou appuyez sur la touche ou pour sélectionner l'option « System » (Système). Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/ PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour entrer, sélectionnez «Language» (Langue), puis tournez le bouton de syntonisation ou appuyez sur la touche

ou pour choisir la langue de l'achage. Enﬁn, appuyez sur la touche

LECTURE/PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour conﬁrmer.

11.2 Réinitialisation

La réinitialisation peut permere d'eacer tous les paramètres déﬁnis par l'utilisateur en les remplaçant par les valeurs d'origine par défaut, y compris la liste des stations DAB et les stations prédéﬁnies.

> Appuyez sur la touche STOP/MENU pour entrer dans le menu. Tournez le

bouton de syntonisation ou appuyez sur la touche ou pour sélectionner l'option « System » (Système). Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/ SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour entrer, sélectionnez «Factory Reset» (Réinitialisation), puis tournez le bouton de syntonisation ou appuyez sur la touche ou pour choisir l'option YES (Oui) ou NO (Non). Enﬁn, appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour conﬁrmer.

11.3 Version du logiciel

Cee fonction permet d'acher la version actuelle du logiciel. > Appuyez sur la touche STOP/MENU pour entrer dans le menu. Tournez

le bouton de syntonisation ou appuyez sur la touche ou pour sélectionner l'option « System » (Système). Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/

PAUSE/SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour entrer, sélectionnez «SW Version» (Version du logiciel), puis appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/ SÉLECTIONNER/RECHERCHER pour acher la version actuelle du logiciel.
