SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS

• Read these instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep
them in a safe place for future consultation.

• This appliance is only for domestic use, not industrial use.

• Do not leave the appliance connected and unattended when not in use. Moreover, this
will allow saving energy and extending the life of the appliance.

• Do not leave the appliance within the reach of children or disabled individuals.

• Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check that the voltage indicated on the
nameplate coincides with the mains voltage.

• Do not use the appliance near the shower, bath or other containers holding water.

• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

• Do not use the appliance on wet hair.

• Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug are damaged, or if not functioning correctly.

• Do not throw or insert anything into any of the appliance’s cavities.

• Do not leave the appliance switched on top of any surface.

• The appliance heats when in operation. Do not bring the hot parts into contact with the
skin to avoid burns.

• Never leave the appliance connected to the socket.

• Never put the appliance away when it is still hot or connected.

• Never wrap the cable around the appliance when it is still hot.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Connect the appliance to a socket.

• The hair straightener has a built-in ceramic PTC system to keep the temperature of
the ceramic plates constant.
Press lock to outside position, this is for hair straightener function.
Press lock to middle position, this is for hair curler function.
Press lock to inside position, this is for hair crimper function.

• In order to straighten hair perfectly, take a strand which is not too thick.

• Starting at the root, place it between the plates in a perpendicular position and gently
pull downwards until reaching the ends of the strand.
If necessary, repeat this action various times.

• Apply the same technique to the rest of the hair.

• When finished, disconnect the appliance by putting the switch in the stop position and
unplug it from the socket.

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Should the mains connection fail, do not try to replace it since this is potentially dangerous.
Take the appliance to an authorized Technical Support Service. The same applies to
another type of problem.

CONSIGNES ET AVERTISSEMENTS RELATIFS À LA SÉCURITÉ

• Lisez attentivement ce manuel avant toute utilisation de l'appareil et gardez-le en lieu
sûr pour une future consultation.

• Cet appareil est destiné à un usage domestique et non industriel.

• Ne laissez pas l'appareil branché et sans surveillance lorsque vous ne vous en servez
pas. Cela vous permettra également d'économiser de l'énergie et de prolonger la durée
de vie de votre appareil.

• Ne laissez pas l'appareil à la portée des enfants ou des personnes handicapées.

• Avant de brancher l'appareil au secteur, vérifiez que la tension indiquée sur la plaque
signalétique correspond à celle du secteur.
Évitez d'utiliser l'appareil près de la douche, de la baignoire ou de tout autre récipient
contenant de l'eau.

• Tenez l'appareil hors de la portée des enfants.
N'utilisez pas l'appareil sur des cheveux humides.

• Évitez d'utiliser l'appareil si le câble ou la fiche sont endommagés ou s'ils ne fonctionnent
pas correctement.

• Ne jetez ou n'inserrez rien dans les cavités de l'appareil.

• Ne laissez l'appareil branché sur aucune surface.

• L'appareil chauffe une fois qu'il est allumé. Évitez de toucher aux parties chaudes de
l'appareil, de peur de vous brûler.

• Ne laissez jamais l'appareil branché.

• N'éloignez jamais l'appareil lorsqu'il est encore chaud ou branché.

• N'enroulez jamais le cordon autour de l'appareil lorsqu'il est encore chaud.

INSTRUCTIONS RELATIVES À L'UTILISATION

• Branchez l'appareil à une prise.

• Le lisseur est doté d'un système de chauffage céramique PTC intégré afin de maintenir
la température des plaques céramiques constante.
Appuyez sur le verrouillage à la position extérieure pour activer la fonction lisseur à
cheveux.
Appuyez sur le verrouillage à la position centrale pour activer la fonction fer à boucler.
Appuyez sur le verrouillage à la position intérieure pour activer la fonction fer à friser.

• Pour un lissage parfait des cheveux, il est recommandé de prendre les mèches moins
épaisses.

• À partir de la racine, placez-les entre les plaques dans une position perpendiculaire
et tirez doucement vers le bas jusqu'aux extrémités du brin de cheveux.
Répétez l'action plusieurs fois si nécessaire.

• Faites de même pour le reste.

• Une fois l'opération terminée, déconnectez l'appareil en réglant le commutateur à la
position Arrêt puis débranchez-le de la prise.

PROBLÈMES ET SOLUTIONS

Si le raccordement au secteur échoue, n'essayez pas de le remplacer car cela pourrait
s'avérer dangereux. Confiez l'appareil à un service d'assistance technique agréé. Faites
de même pour tout autre type de problème.

VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES EN WAARSCHUWINGEN

• Lees deze instructies zorgvuldig voor u het apparaat in gebruik neemt en bewaar het
in een veilige locatie voor raadpleging in de toekomst.

• Dit apparaat dient enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik, niet voor industrieel gebruik.

• Laat het apparaat niet het stopcontact of zonder toezicht wanneer u het niet gebruikt.
Bovendien zal dit energie besparen en de levensduur van het apparaat verlengen.

• Laat het apparaat niet binnen het bereik van kinderen of gehandicapte personen.

• Voor u het apparaat aansluit op het elektrisch netwerk moet u controleren of de
spanning vermeld op het naamplaatje overeenstemt met de spanning van het netwerk.

• U mag het apparaat niet gebruiken in de buurt van de douche, de badkuip of andere
containers die water bevatten.

• Buiten het bereik van kinderen houden.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet op nat haar.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het netsnoer of de stekker beschadigd zijn of niet correct
werken.

• U mag nooit iets gooien of invoeren in een van de openingen van het apparaat.

• Laat het apparaat niet ingeschakeld bovenop een oppervlakte.

• Het apparaat warmt op tijdens de werking. Breng de warme onderdelen niet in contact
met de huid en vermijd brandwonden.

• Laat het apparaat nooit zitten in het stopcontact.

• Berg het apparaat nooit op als het nog warm is of nog steeds in het stopcontact zit.

• U mag het netsnoer nooit rond het apparaat wikkelen als het nog warm is.

GEBRUIKSAANWIJZINGEN

• Voer het apparaat in het stopcontact.

• De stijltang heeft een ingebouwd keramisch PTC-systeem om de temperatuur van de
keramische plaat constant te houden.
Druk de vergrendeling naar buiten voor de haar stijltang functie.
Druk de vergrendeling naar het midden voor de krultang functie.
Druk de vergrendeling naar binnen voor de wafeltang functie.

• Om haar perfect glad te maken, moet u een niet te dikke pluk nemen.

• Begin bij de wortel, plaats het haar tussen de platen in een loodrechte positie en trek
zachtjes naar beneden tot u het einde van het haar bereikt.
Indien noodzakelijk kunt u deze actie meerdere malen herhalen.

• Pas dezelfde techniek toe op de rest van het haar.

• Aan het einde moet u het apparaat ontkoppelen door de schakelaar op ‘stop’ te schakelen
en hem uit het stopcontact te verwijderen.
