Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt
entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise
für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen
Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen
Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für
die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie
alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an
Dritte mit aus.

Dieses Gerät dient ausschließlich dem Schmelzen/
Erwärmen von Paraffinwachs. Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich für die Benutzung in privaten Haushalten

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht bei Herzerkrankungen, Hautrötun-
gen, Entzündungen, Schwellungen, empfindlichen Stellen, Diabetes,
offenen Wunden, Verbrennungen, Ekzemen oder Schuppenflechte.
► Wenn Sie, aufgrund von Vorerkrankungen, sich nicht sicher sind,
ob Sie das Gerät verwenden dürfen, konsultieren Sie einen Arzt
vor der Verwendung.
► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht unter Decken oder Handtüchern.
► Belassen Sie das Paraffinwachs nicht länger als 20 Minuten auf
der Haut.
► Stellen Sie das Gerät möglichst in der Nähe einer Steckdose auf.
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass der Netzstecker bei Gefahr schnell erreichbar ist und die Netzleitung nicht zur Stolperfalle werden kann.
► Sorgen Sie für einen sicheren Stand des Gerätes.
ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!
► Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals im Leerzustand, ohne Paraffinwachs.
► Füllen Sie nur Paraffinwachs in das Gerät, keine aggressiven oder
lösungsmittelhaltigen Substanzen!
► Stellen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich auf hitzeunempfindliche, ebene
Oberflächen.
► Befüllen Sie das Gerät maximal bis zur Markierung MAX im Gerät.
► Erhitzen Sie das Paraffinwachs niemals in der Plastikfolie.
► Erhitzen Sie das Paraffinwachs niemals in der Mikrowelle, über
offenen Flammen oder einem Herd.
► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates Fern-
wirksystem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.
► Benutzen Sie keine spitzen oder scharfen Gegenstände, um das
erkaltete Paraffinwachs aus dem Gerät zu entfernen.

Warum ein Paraffinbad?
Paraffinbäder werden dafür eingesetzt, rissige oder
spröde Haut wieder glatt, geschmeidig und elastisch
zu machen. Sie fördern die Durchblutung der Haut
und helfen selbst bei sehr trockener Haut.
Zudem wird die erzeugte Tiefenwärme als sehr
angenehm empfunden.
Durch die Wärme öffnen sich die Poren der Haut
und Wirkstoffe können besser eindringen.
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
1) Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch
von innen und außen ab, um Transportstaub zu
entfernen. Trocknen Sie es gut ab, so dass sich
keine Feuchtigkeit mehr im Gerät befindet.
2) Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen ebenen und
hitzeunempfindlichen Untergrund. Bedenken
Sie auch, dass eventuell Paraffinwachsspritzer
auf den Untergrund tropfen können. Dieser
sollte daher gut zu reinigen sein.
Gerät vorbereiten
Wenn das Gerät auf einem geeigneten Untergrund
aufgestellt ist:
1) Entnehmen Sie das Paraffinwachs aus der
Verpackung.
2) Geben Sie das Paraffinwachs in die Innen-
schale .
HINWEIS
► Geben Sie immer so viel Paraffinwachs
in die Innenschale , dass der Füllstand
mindestens die Markierung MIN erreicht. Die
Markierung MAX darf jedoch nicht überschritten werden.
3) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose. Die Kontrollleuchte POWER leuchtet.
4) Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler auf „hot“.
Die Kontrollleuchte HEAT leuchtet orange
und zeigt damit an, dass das Gerät aufheizt.
5) Schließen Sie den Deckel .
Nach ca. 2,5 Stunden ist das Paraffinwachs
geschmolzen.
WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
Tauchen Sie niemals Hände oder andere Körperteile in das Paraffinwachs , wenn das Gerät
auf „hot“ aufgeheizt hat. Verbrennungsgefahr!
6) Wenn das Paraffinwachs geschmolzen ist,
nehmen Sie den Deckel ab.
7) Geben Sie das Schutzgitter in die Innenschale und lassen Sie es auf den Boden sinken.
8) Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler soweit
zurück, dass Sie einen spürbaren Wiederstand
beim Drehen bemerken und der Temperaturregler auf die Lücke der Temperaturskala weist.
9) Warten Sie ab, bis die Kontrollleuchte HEAT
grün leuchtet. Nun hat sich das Paraffinwachs
auf ca. 60°C abgekühlt und hat die ideale
Anwendungstemperatur.
Sie können nun mit der Anwendung beginnen.
Anwendung
HINWEIS
► Äußere Einflüsse, wie zum Beispiel die
Raumtemperatur, können die Temperatur
des Paraffinwachses beeinflussen. Testen
Sie daher vor jeder Anwendung, ob die
Temperatur angenehm ist. Geben Sie dafür
etwas Paraffinwachs auf die Innenseite
des Handgelenkes. Ist das Gefühl angenehm,
können Sie die Temperatur so belassen.
► Sollte sich eine Haut auf dem Paraffinwachs
bilden, erhöhen Sie die Temperatur wieder
etwas.
► Wenn Sie beide Hände zeitgleich behandeln
wollen, benötigen Sie eine zweite Person zur
Hilfe, da Sie Ihre Hände mit der Wachsschicht nicht benutzen können.
Sie können das Paraffinbad an Händen, Füßen
oder Ellenbogen verwenden. Die Vorgehensweise
ist immer gleich. In dieser Anleitung wird die Anwendung Beispielhaft an den Händen erklärt.
HINWEIS
► Je nach Beanspruchung der Hände, empfeh-
len wir, die Behandlung mit dem Paraffinbad
ca. 1 - 2 mal pro Monat durchzführen.

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN
► Achten Sie bei der Anwendung darauf, dass
kein Paraffinwachs auf Ihre Kleidung
gelangt. Dieses kann nur schwer entfernt
werden und führt eventuell zu Verfärbungen.
1) Legen Sie Schmuck, wie Ringe oder Armbänder ab.
2) Cremen Sie Ihre Hand mit einer reichhaltigen
Pflegecreme, zum Beispiel Handcreme, ein.
3) Tauchen Sie die Hand kurz, für ca. 1 - 2 Sekunden in das Paraffinwachs . Ziehen Sie die
Hand wieder heraus und warten Sie, bis das
Paraffinwachs erhärtet.
4) Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang ca. 6 - 7
mal, so dass sich eine Schicht aus Paraffinwachs bildet.
HINWEIS
► Sollten Sie zwischendurch das Gefühl haben,
dass die Temperatur zu hoch oder zu niedrig
ist, korrigieren Sie die Temperatur am Temperaturregler .
► Wenn Sie das Heizen des Gerätes für kurze
Zeit unterbrechen wollen, drehen Sie den
Temperaturregler bis zum Anschlag nach
links. Die Kontrollleuchte HEAT erlischt.
Dies ersetzt jedoch nicht das Herausziehen
des Netzsteckers nach Beendigung der
Behandlung!
5) Stecken Sie die Hand in eine der Folientüten
und drehen Sie die Folientüte an der Öffnung
zu, so dass keine Luft entweichen kann.
WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
Wenn Sie die Folientüte über einen Fuß
ziehen, laufen Sie nicht damit herum. Es besteht
die Gefahr, dass Sie ausrutschen.
6) Ziehen Sie nach 15 - 20 Minuten die Folientüte
mit dem Paraffinwachs ab und entsorgen
Sie beides im Restmüll.
Paraffinwachs welches schon am Körper
angewendet wurde, darf aus hygienischen
Gründen nicht noch einmal verwendet werden!
HINWEIS
► Entnehmen Sie immer nach Beendigung der
Anwendung das Schutzgitter aus dem
noch flüssigen Paraffinwachs .
HINWEIS
► Reines Paraffinwachs kann nicht verderben.
Bei jeder Benutzung des Paraffinbades gelangen jedoch Fremdstoffe in das Paraffinwachs
. Daher empfehlen wir, bereits im Gerät
geschmolzenes Paraffinwachs , spätestens
nach einem Jahr Standzeit auszutauschen.
Reinigung und Wartung
HINWEIS
► Wird das Paraffinbad nur von einer Person
benutzt, tauschen Sie das Paraffinwachs
aus, sobald Sie Schmutzpartikel oder Schwebeteilchen im Paraffinwachs bemerken.
Reinigen Sie dabei auch das Gerät.
► Wird das Paraffinbad von mehreren Personen
benutzt, sollte aus hygienischen Gründen
das Paraffinwachs vor jeder Behandlung
ausgetauscht werden.
► Um Paraffinwachs oder Folientüten
nachzubestellen, wenden Sie sich an unseren
Kundenservice (siehe Kapitel „Garantie und
Service“). Halten Sie die IAN-Nummer des
Artikels bereit. Diese finden Sie auf dem
Cover der Bedienungsanleitung und unter der
Serviceadresse.
Um das Paraffinwachs zu entfernen:
– Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netz-
steckdose.
– Lassen Sie das Paraffinwachs über Nacht
erhärten.
– Stecken Sie den Netzstecker wieder in die
Netzsteckdose.
– Setzen Sie den Deckel auf.
– Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler auf
„hot“ und warten Sie, je nach Umgebungstemperatur, ca. 10 Minuten.
– Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netz-
steckdose.

– Nehmen Sie den Deckel ab.
– Spreizen Sie die Seitenwände des Gerätes
etwas auseinander, so dass sich der Wachsblock von den Seitenwänden löst.
– Drücken Sie an allen Seiten den Wachs-
block nach unten, so dass Sie spüren, ob
der Wachsblock sich von den Seitenwänden
gelöst hat. Sollte sich der Wachsblock nicht
lösen, stecken Sie den Netzstecker wieder
in eine Netzsteckdose und setzen Sie den
Deckel auf. Der Temperaturregler
steht auf „hot“.
– Prüfen Sie nach weiteren 5 Minuten, ob sich
der Wachsblock löst. Sollte sich der Wachsblock noch nicht lösen, warten Sie weiter ab
und prüfen immer nach jeweils 5 Minuten,
ob sich der Wachsblock lösen lässt.
HINWEIS
► Je nach Umgebungstemperatur kann die Zeit
stark variieren, die das Wachs benötigt, um
weich genug zu werden, um sich vom Gerät
zu lösen.
Wenn sich der Wachsblock von den Seitenwänden
gelöst hat:
– Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netz-
steckdose.
– Drücken Sie an einer Seite auf den Paraffin-
wachsblock. Dieser rutscht etwas nach oben,
so dass Sie ihn entfernen können.
– Noch flüssigen in der Innenschale befin-
delichen Paraffinwachs entfernen Sie mit
einem Küchenpapier oder ähnlichem.
– Wischen Sie die Innenschale anschlie-
ßend mit einem mit warmen Wasser befeuchteten Tuch aus. Geben Sie, falls nötig, ein
mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch. Wischen Sie
danach jedoch mit einem fuchten Tuch nach,
so dass alle Spülmittelreste beseitigt sind.
■ Wischen Sie das Gerät und den Deckel mit
einem feuchten Tuch ab. Bei Bedarf geben Sie
ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch.
■ Reinigen Sie das Schutzgitter in warmem
Wasser und geben Sie ein mildes Spülmittel
hinzu. Spülen Sie das Schutzgitter danach
mit klarem Wasser ab, um Spülmittelreste zu
beseitigen.
■ Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät und seine
Teile vor der nächsten Benutzung vollständig
trocken sind.
HINWEIS
► Sollte Paraffinwachs auf die Arbeitsfläche
getropft sein, wischen Sie dieses mit einem
mit warmen Wasser befeuchteten Tuch ab.
Aufbewahrung
■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät vor dem Verstauen
gründlich.
■ Wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benut-
zen, entfernen Sie alle Paraffinwachsreste aus
der Innenschale .
■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät mit geschlossenem
Deckel an einem sauberen und trockenen
Ort auf.
Entsorgung
Sie können das Paraffinwachs im normalen
Restmüll entsorgen.
Werfen Sie das Gerät kei-
nesfalls in den normalen
Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt
unterliegt der europäischen
Richtlinie 2012/19/EU.
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale
Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell
geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.
Die Verpackung besteht aus umweltfreundli-
chen Materialien, die Sie über die örtlichen
Recyclingstellen entsorgen können.

Garantie und Service
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie
ab Kaufdatum. Das Gerät wurde sorgfältig
produziert und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft
geprüft. Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon als
Nachweis für den Kauf auf. Bitte setzen Sie sich
im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch
in Verbindung. Nur so kann eine kostenlose
Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden.
Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder
Fabrikationsfehler, nicht aber für Transportschäden,
Verschleißteile oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter oder Akkus. Das Produkt
ist lediglich für den privaten und nicht für den
gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt.
Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die
nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.
Ihre gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch diese Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung
nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene
Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem
Auspacken gemeldet werden, spätestens aber zwei

inflammation, swelling, sensitive areas, diabetes, open wounds,
burns, eczema or psoriasis.
► If you are unsure whether you can safely use the appliance due to
pre-existing conditions, consult a doctor prior to use.
► Do not use the appliance beneath blankets or towels.
► Do not leave the paraffin wax on your skin for longer than 20 minutes.
► Install the appliance as close as possible to an electrical power
socket. Ensure that the power plug is quickly reachable in case of
danger, and also that there is no danger of tripping over the cable.
► Provide a stable location for the appliance.
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► Never operate this appliance when it is empty (without paraffin wax).
► Only paraffin wax may be put into the appliance. Do not add any
aggressive substances or substances containing solvents!
► Always place the appliance on a heat-resistant, level surface.
► Fill the appliance no further than the MAX mark inside the appliance.
► Never heat the paraffin wax in the plastic film.
► Never heat the paraffin wax in a microwave oven, over an open
flame or on a stove.
► Do not use an external timer switch or a separate remote control
system to operate the appliance.
► Never use metallic, pointed or sharp objects to remove solidified
paraffin wax from the appliance.

Why a paraffin bath?
Paraffin baths are used to make cracked or brittle
skin smooth, supple and elastic again. They promote
the blood circulation of the skin and even help to
improve extremely dry skin.
The deep heat that is generated also feels very
pleasant.
The heat opens the pores of the skin, allowing the
active ingredients to penetrate more easily.
Before first use
1) Wipe the device with a damp cloth inside and
out to remove any dust residue left over from
transport. Dry it well so that there is no moisture
left in the appliance.
2) Place the appliance on a level and heat-resistant
surface. Also keep in mind that paraffin wax
splashes may drip onto the surface. The surface should therefore be easy to clean.
Preparing the appliance
Once the appliance is set up on a suitable surface:
1) Remove the paraffin wax from its packaging.
2) Put the paraffin wax into the inner bowl .
NOTE
► Add paraffin wax to the inner bowl until
at least the level of the MIN marking. Do not
exceed the MAX marking.
3) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
The POWER indicator lamp illuminates.
4) Set the temperature control to "hot". The
HEAT control lamp illuminates in orange to
show that the appliance is heating up.
5) Close the lid .
After about 2.5 hours the paraffin wax has
melted.
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
Never dip your hands or any other body parts
into the paraffin wax once the appliance has
heated up to "hot". Risk of burns!
6) When the paraffin wax has melted, remove
the lid .
7) Put the grille into the inner bowl and let
it sink to the bottom.
8) Turn back the temperature control until you
feel a noticeable resistance when turning and
the temperature control is pointing to the
gap on the temperature scale.
9) Wait until the HEAT control lamp lights up
green. Now the paraffin wax has cooled to
around 60°C and has the ideal temperature
for application.
You can now start application.
Use of the appliance
NOTE
► Exterior influences such as the room tempera-
ture can affect the temperature of the paraffin
wax . You should therefore test to see whether
the temperature is comfortable before each
application. To do this, place a little paraffin
wax onto the inside of your wrist. If this
feels pleasant, you can keep the paraffin
wax at this temperature.
► If a skin forms on the paraffin wax , increase
the temperature slightly.
► If you wish to treat both hands at the same
time you will require the assistance of a second person, since you cannot use your hands
with the layer of wax on them.
You can use the paraffin bath on your hands, feet
or elbows. The procedure is always the same. In
this manual, the application is described using the
example of the hands.
NOTE
► Depending on the condition of your hands,
we recommend treatment with the paraffin
bath about 1–2 times per month.

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE
► Ensure that no paraffin wax gets onto your
clothes during use. This can be very difficult
to remove and may result in discolouration.
1) Remove any jewellery, such as rings or bracelets.
2) Treat your hands with a rich cream, such as
hand cream.
3) Briefly immerse your hand in the paraffin wax
for about 1 - 2 seconds. Remove your hand
again and wait for the paraffin wax to
harden.
4) Repeat this process about 6 - 7 times so that
a layer of paraffin wax forms.
NOTE
► If you have the feeling that the temperature
is too high or too low at any time, correct this
using the temperature control .
► If you want to pause the heating of the ap-
pliance for a short time, turn the temperature
control to the left as far as the stop. The
HEAT control lamp goes out. This is not an
adequate substitute for removing the power
plug after finishing the treatment!
5) Insert your hand into one of the plastic bags ,
and twist the bag closed at the opening so
that no air can escape.
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
If you pull the plastic bag over your foot, do
not walk around with it on. Risk of slipping.
6) After about 15–20 minutes, remove the plastic
bag together with the paraffin wax and
dispose of both in your household waste.
For hygiene reasons, paraffin wax that has
already been applied to the body must not be
reused!
NOTE
► Always remove the grille from the liquid
paraffin wax immediately after completing
the application.
NOTE
► Pure paraffin wax cannot spoil. After every
use of the paraffin bath, impurities can get
into the paraffin wax . We therefore recommend replacing the paraffin wax that has
already been melted in the appliance after
no more than one year.
Cleaning and maintenance
NOTE
► If the paraffin bath is only being used by one
person, replace the paraffin wax as soon
as you notice dirt or suspended particles in
the paraffin wax . The appliance should
also be cleaned when doing this.
► If the paraffin bath is being used by several
people, the paraffin wax should be
changed before every treatment for hygiene
reasons.
► To reorder paraffin wax or plastic bags ,
contact our Customer Service (see section
"Warranty and service"). Have the IAN
number of the item concerned to hand. You
will find this on the cover of the operating
instructions and below the service address.
To remove the paraffin wax proceed as follows:
– Remove the power plug from the mains
power socket.
– Leave the paraffin wax to harden overnight.
– Replace the plug in the mains power socket.
– Put the lid on.
– Set the temperature control to “hot” and
wait for approximately 10 minutes (depending
on the room temperature).
– Remove the power plug from the mains
power socket.

– Remove the lid .
– Pull the side walls of the appliance a little
apart so that the wax block detaches from
the side walls.
– Press the wax block down on all sides so
that you can feel whether the wax block has
detached from the side walls. If the wax block
does not detach, replace the power plug back
in the power outlet and put the lid back on.
Set the temperature control to “hot”.
– After a further 5 minutes, check whether the
wax block detaches. If the wax block still
does not detach, wait a little longer and
check every 5 minutes whether you can
detach the wax block.
NOTE
► Depending on the ambient temperature, the
time that the wax requires to become soft
enough to detach from the appliance can
vary significantly.
Once the wax block has detached from the side
walls:
– Remove the power plug from the mains
power socket.
– Press on one side of the paraffin wax block.
It slides upwards a little so that it can now
be easily removed.
– Any liquid paraffin wax that remains in
the inner bowl can be removed with a
paper towel or similar.
– Then wipe the inner bowl with a cloth
moistened with warm water. If necessary,
add a little mild detergent onto the cloth.
Afterwards, wipe the bowl with damp cloth
to remove all detergent residue.
■ Wipe the appliance and the lid with a moist
cloth. If required, use a mild detergent on the
cloth.
■ Clean the grille in warm water with a mild
detergent. Then rinse the grille with plenty of
clean water to remove all detergent residue.
■ Ensure that the appliance and all components
are completely dry before using them again.
NOTE
► If any paraffin wax has dripped onto the
work surface, wipe it up with a cloth moistened with warm water.
Storage
■ Always clean the appliance thoroughly before
storing.
■ If you do not intend to use the appliance for a
long period, remove all paraffin wax residue
from the inner bowl .
■ Store the appliance in a clean and dry location
with the lid on.
Disposal
You can dispose of the paraffin wax in the
normal waste.
Do not dispose of the appli-
ance in your normal domestic
waste. This product is subject
to the provisions of European
Directive 2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste
disposal company or your municipal waste
disposal facility. Please comply with all applicable
regulations. Please contact your waste disposal
facility if you are in any doubt.
The packaging is made of environmentally
friendly materials which you can dispose
of at your local recycling centre.

Warranty and service
This appliance is provided with a 3-year warranty
valid from the date of purchase. The appliance
has been manufactured with care and inspected
meticulously prior to delivery. Please retain your
receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a
warranty claim, please contact your Customer
Service unit by telephone. This is the only way to
guarantee free return of your goods.
The warranty only covers claims for material and
manufacturing defects, not for damage sustained
during carriage, components subject to wear and
tear or damage to fragile components such as
switches or batteries. This appliance is intended
solely for private use and not for commercial
purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of
misuse or improper handling, use of force and
modifications/repairs which have not been carried
out by one of our authorised Service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted by this
warranty.
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
effected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components. Any damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must be
reported immediately after unpacking, but no later
than two days after the date of purchase. Repairs
carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall
be subject to charge.
