Is it possible to configure the MFP to
send an email alert when the toner remaining quantity reaches 25% or
less (instead of 5% or less)?
Within Simulation 26-69, change the value of E from 1
to 0: 0 = Email alert is sent when "Toner Low" message is displayed (approx. 25% or less toner remaining). 1 = Email alert is sent near toner end (5% or less toner remaining) - Default Setting.

Intermittent POD1_S jam in duplex only when the MXFN12 is installed.
POD_1S jam would occur after the 1st side was printed
and entering the finisher to continue with the 2nd side.
If the paper entry gate solenoid is not fixed in the right
position, the stroke distance of the solenoid becomes
short therefore, the paper entry gate cannot be fully
opened and then catch a paper in the 2nd side printing.
MXFN12 not stacking properly in

Check if the delivery rear edge sheets that are attached
on the delivery upper PG are deformed – remove.
Also upgrade the Finisher firmware to v01.02.F0

How to scan to Office 365 email from
Sharp MFP?
Check the following settings under Network Settings ->
Service Settings -> SMTP
Primary Server: smtp.office365.com
Port Number: 587
Reply Email Address: ****@onmicrosoft.com
SSL: ON
SMTP Authentication: ON
User Name should be same as the Reply Email Address.
Note: IMAP is not supported on the current Sharp MFPs
therefore only SMTP protocol can be used.
The correct port for SMTP with SSL enabled is 587 for
Office 365 email.
Scan to Email fails when using
hotmail.com or outlook.com
As Microsoft will not accept any email that is not
RFC5322 compliant, the sending email must have a
name and valid email address in the header therefore,
when configuring SMTP settings on the MFP, make sure
to add a Name & Email Address in the Default Send Set
menu (under System Settings\Image Send
Settings\Scan Settings).
Scanned TIF images cannot be opened
using Windows Fax viewer
As default, the scanned data for the models listed is set
to Greyscale (JPEG compression/ 8bit image) which is
currently unsupported using Windows Fax viewer.
To view TIF images using Windows Fax viewer,
implement one of the following workarounds:-
1. Change the Standard Colour Mode setting of the scanner (Recommended).
From System Settings > Image Send Settings > Scan
Settings > Other Settings > Default Colour Mode
Settings; Change "Greyscale" to "Mono2".
2. Before sending, manually change the Colour Mode to Mono2 before executing the job and scanning the
originals.

When sending a FAX, the MFP
requests the FAX number again
Disable FAX Destination Confirmation, using one of the
following methods:-
From System Settings Menu (Web Page):-
Select Image Send Settings - Fax Settings and uncheck
Fax Dest. Confirmation mode.
From MFP Operation Panel:-
Select Image Send Settings - Fax Settings - Fax Default
Settings and uncheck Fax Dest. Confirmation Mode.
Unable to send a Fax - Machine
indicates extension phone off hook
when using PABX.
On some PABX, the line voltage may be low enough for
the machine to think that an extension phone is off
hook. This is usually indicated with the telephone
symbol appearing on the display.
Change soft switch 83, Bit 8 from 1 to 0 .
This disables this detection.
