Components sticking out from the machine (e.g. loading door) may break off and cause injuries, when used for lifting.
Do not lift the machine on protruding components.
When a drying cycle is stopped early, the heat and moisture of the laundry can cause burns when comes in contact with the skin.
Appropriate hand protection is therefore to be worn.
Remove the laundry quickly and spread it out so that the heat can be given off.

Observe when drying
The fluff filters must be inserted when operating this machine.
Never operate the machine with damaged fluff filters.
Keep the area surrounding the dryer free of dust and fluff.
The fluff filters must be cleaned regularly. Fluff may compromise and destroy the heat exchangers.
The maximum load is 8 kg of dry textiles.
Dry clean laundry in the dryer only.
Before starting a programme, make sure that there is no foreign object in the drum.
Keep pets away from the machine.
A drying procedure should always end
with fully completed cooling-off, so that the laundry items remains at a temperature that does not damage them.
If a drying cycle is ended prematurely without cooling-off, all of the laundry must be r emoved quickly and spread out so that the heat can be given off. Caution: when a drying cycle is stopped early, the heat and moisture of the laundry can cause burns when it comes into contact with the skin. Make sure to wear appropriate hand protection.

Tips for drying
Sorting the laundry
Follow the care symbols in the fabrics. To achieve even drying results, sort the laundry by fabric type and desired level of dryness.
Dry at normal temperature
Dry at low temperature
Do not tumble dry
Dry wool or textiles containing wool with the special programme Wool Finish only (risk of felting).
Notice
Textiles with metal reinforcements can damage the components of the machine and must not be dryed in the dryer.
Preparing the laundry
Do up all zips, hooks and eyes.
Button up duvet covers and pillowcases. Tie together loose belts, apron strings etc.
Drying the laundry
Remove easy care laundry from the dryer in a slightly damp state if possible (Slightly dry) and allow to finish drying in the air. Over drying causes creases.
Laundry which is still too damp after drying a load of widely varying fabrics can be dried further using the programme Time drying.
Knitted fabrics, e.g. jersey underwear, can shrink slightly during drying. Do not use the Extra Dry programmes for these fabrics.
Dry sensitive fabrics such as silk and synthetic curtains with the special programmes Silk and Synthetics only (risk of creasing).
For drying single pieces of laundry select the programme option Express or a Timed drying programme.
Page 11

Environmentally compatible drying
Notice
Wringing wet laundry: waste of energy!
Remove as much water as possible from the laundry before drying by spinning in a washing machine or spin dryer. The higher the spin speed, the shorter the drying time and lower the energy consumption.
You should also spin easy care laundry.
Notice
Overfilling affects the drying result and severely creases the laundry.
Do not exceed the maximum load.
Small loads are uneconomical and result in increased wear of laundry and machine.
If possible, always load the dryer with the maximum load.
Observe before first use
Install the machine according to the installation instructions.
Wipe the inside of the drum with a damp cloth.

Cleaning the fluff filters
When fabrics are used, the fibres are rubbed (laundry fluff), which are released when the fabrics are dried, collecting in the fluff filters in the door opening. Clogged fluff filters may affect the drying process.
Clean filter
and
regularly.
Clean the fluff filter after every drying programme
Pull out the inner, fine filter
and
swing it open.
Rub your hand over the inside of the filter to remove the fluff.
Replace the fluff filter and make sure it is in the correct position.
Notice
It may happen that a supposedly proper cleaned filter becomes impermeable, due to a fine, invisible coat remaining in the filter meshes.
Pour a little water on to the inside of the filter. If it is impermeable, clean the filter with a brush under running water.
Cleaning the filter
daily
Pull out the outer coarse filter
and
swing it open.
Page 19
19
Rub your hand over the inside of the filter to remove the fluff.
Replace the fluff filter and make sure it is in the correct position.
Descaling the fluff filters
If the coat cannot be brushed away, a commercial descaler spray must be used to dissolve it.
Spray the descaler on the entire filter surface and leave it to take effect. In case of stubborn coats place one layer of kitchen roll onto the filter surface and spray descaler on it to ensure the filter is moist. Leave the descaler to take effect overnight. Then clean the filter under running water with a fine brush.
Notice
Never operate the machine with damaged fluff filters. Fluff filters are consumables and replacements can be ordered from our customer service department.
Switching off the machine
Press button On / Off until the display turns off.
Unplug the machine, when not used for longer periods of time.
