EGF1 is a thermistor-type room thermostat, intended for
wall-mounting in a position where air can circulate
freely.
EGF1 is primarily intended for small heating control
installations. The room temperature is continuously
adjustable between 10–30 °C.

Mounting
The sub-base can be mounted directly on the wall or on a
wall box, in such a place that the sensor is in moving air.
1. Remove the cover by loosening the locking screw.
2. Unscrew the screw that retains the circuit board and
dismount the circuit board from the sub-base.
3. Mount the sub-base directly onto the wall or on a wall
box.
On the wall
The cables should enter the enclosure from above when the
unit is mounted on the wall. The upper part of the cover has
knockouts for making two 8 or 11 mm dia. holes for cable
entries.
On a wall box
When mounted on a wall box the cables enter the enclosure
through a hole in the sub-base.
Limiting or locking the setpoint wheel
The setting range of the setpoint wheel can be limited or the
wheel can be locked at the desired setting. The setpoint
wheel is locked at a setting by inserting two pegs, one on
each side of the desired value, symmetrically and as close
together as possible. The pegs will be accessible when the
front cover is removed.
