instructions carefully and keep them safe. Remove all packaging before use.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cable
out of reach of children under 8 years.

Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.
• When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the
proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched
off.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD)
having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable
in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom*.

• If the supply cord of this unit becomes damaged, discontinue use
immediately and return the appliance to your nearest authorised

• Always ensure the voltage to be used corresponds to the voltage stated on the unit
before plugging the appliance into the mains socket.
• Keep direc t airow away from eyes or other sensitive areas.

• Do not allow any part of the appliance touch the face, neck or scalp.
• During use, always ensure the inlet and outlet grilles are not blocked in any way as
this will cause the unit to automatically stop. If this should occur, switch o and allow
the unit to cool.
• Keep the power plug and cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.
• Do not place the appliance on any soft furnishings.
• Do not use attachments other than those we supply.
• Do not set the appliance down while still on.
• Do not twist or kink the cable, or wrap it round the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunc tions.
• Check the cord regularly for any sign damage.
• Always ensure that the rear grille/lter is clear of any hair, u or other debris before
use. A blocked grille/lter can cause the appliance to overheat.
• This appliance is not intended for commercial or salon use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Wash and condition your hair as normal.
• Squeeze out excess moisture with a towel and comb through.
• Hairsprays contain ammable material – do not use while using this product.
• Fit accessor y attachments to the front of the hairdryer then twist clockwise to lock in
place. Take care when you do this because the attachments can become hot during
use.
1. Plug the produc t into the mains power supply.
2. Switch your hairdryer on and selec t the desired speed setting using the speed
selector switch.
3. Select the desired heat setting (low N, medium O or high P) using the heat selector
switch.
4. For the fastest air ow use the turbo function. To operate, press the turbo function
button ( ) and hold it there. Release the button to return to normal dr ying.
5. After use, turn the appliance o and unplug it.

How to create curls with the cu rling attachme nt
1. For best results, dry your hair as normal until it is about 70% dry. Then turn o your
dryer and section your hair into manageable areas.
2. Fit the curling attachment to the front of the hairdryer then twist clockwise to lock in
place. Take care when you do this because the attachments can become hot in use.
3. Starting on the lower areas of hair, working on one section at a time brush through
with the round brush and then wrap hair around the barrel starting at the ends.
4. Select the high heat ( P) and low speed setting (F) using the speed and heat selector
switches.
5. The shape of the curling nozzle maximises the air and heat coverage around the
brush. For best results seat the brush, with hair wrapped, directly within the nozzle
until the section is 100% dry.
6. When the section is dry, press the cool shot ( ) button upwards and hold it for a few
seconds to set your curl in place.
7. Switch o the dr yer and carefully unwind the sec tion of hair from the brush.
How to create smoot h styles with the smoot hing attachment:
1. Rep eat step 1 as above.
2. Fit the smoothing attachment to the front of the hairdryer then twist clockwise to
lock in place. Take care when you do this because the attachments can become hot
in use.
3. Select the high heat ( P) and high speed setting (E) using the speed and heat
selector switches.
4. Starting on the lower areas of hair using the round brush, work on one section at a
time. Grip the underneath of the hair with the brush and run the smoothing noz zle
down the hair until the sec tion is 100% dry.
• TIP: Angle the nozzle downwards to minimise frizz and y aways.
5. When the section is dry, press the cool shot ( ) button upwards and run the nozzle
down the section again to set your style in place.
TIPS
• For fast dr ying use the high heat / high speed function.
• To enhance natural curls and waves, attach the diuser to the dryer. Turn your head
upside down and gently place your hair into the diuser bowl slightly rotating the
dryer as you style.
• To create extra volume at the roots of the hair, keep your head upright and place the
diuser against the top of the head. Gently rotate the hairdr yer allowing the diuser
ngers to gently massage the scalp being careful not to burn the scalp. Dry gently on
a medium heat / low speed setting.
Caution: Do not use the diuser on the highest heat setting (P).

STORAGE, CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• When nished unplug the appliance and allow to cool before cleaning and storing.
• To maintain peak product performance and to prolong motor life, it is important to
regularly remove any dust and dirt from the inlet grille.
• Remove the grille as shown (FIG A), clean with a cloth or soft brush, then replace it.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
In the event of overheating, the appliance may either stop unexpectedly or star t to blow
cold air. Overheating is usually caused by a blocked grille/lter. If this happens,
immediately unplug the appliance and refer to STORAGE, CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
to clean the grille/lter. If, after doing this overheating continues to happen, stop using
the appliance and contac t Customer Service.
RECYCLING
To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous
substances, appliances and rechargeable and non-rechargeable
batteries marked with one of these symbols must not be disposed of

with unsor ted municipal waste. Always dispose of electrical and
electronic products and, where applicable, rechargeable and
non-rechargeable batteries, at an appropriate ocial recycling/
collection point.
