Remove pen needle seal.

a secure fit is ensured even if there is no
noticeable stop

Penetrate skin quickly
and inject slowly
according to your
physician’s and pen’s
instructions for use.
Remove the outer
protective cap by pulling it
straight off; save it.
Remove the inner
protective cap.

Carefully replace the outer
protective cap
(if self-injecting only).
Unscrew the pen needle and safely
dispose of it according to your
physician’s or pharmacist’s advice.
Warnings:
Avoid iNFECTioNs:
• do not use the pen needle if the seal is damaged or
has been opened by someone other than you.
• do not use the pen needle after the expiration date
on the packaging has expired.
• Before each injection, clean the injection site
thoroughly according to your physician’s
instruction.
• Use each pen needle only once.
• do not re-use, clean and/or re-sterilize pen needles.
• Carefully replace the outer protective cap on the
used pen needle and dispose of it immediately
after self-injection. Follow your physician’s or
pharmacist’s advice for proper disposal in your area.
• if these instructions are not followed, there is a risk
of infection.
• seek medical attention if you have any health
concern.

• To avoid accidental needlesticks, which can transmit
serious infections, never recap, remove, or destroy a
pen needle that has been used by someone else.
