1 Remove back of phone
2 Insert batteries into the handset,
then replace back (make sure to
respect the correct polarities
indications (‘+’ and ‘-’) as showed
inside the battery case)
3 Insert phone cable (not for the DP 01S)
4 Insert power cable
5 Connect to phone and power sockets
6 Place the handset on the base for
battery charging (a docking sound
indicates if the handset has been
placed correctly on the base)
7 Let the batteries charge for at least
16 hours before using your phone for
the first time. Later on, 8 hours will
be sufficient for a full recharge

Basic usage of the phone
Change language:
– Press B F select ‘Handset settings’

Slave Unit DP 01S
How to register this handset to the Punkt.’s base
unit (provided only with the ‘DP 01’ model)
Note:
If you purchased the Slave Unit DP 01S of the
Punkt DECT phone, you need to follow the below
procedure in order to be able to make and receive
phone calls with your Punkt. handset.
Important:
Connect the base of the slave unit to the ‘power’
socket only. Do NOT connect the base of the slave
unit to the telephone ‘line’, since the base of the
slave unit is used only to charge the batteries of the
slave handset when it’s not in use.
– On the slave handset (DP01S), press F, select
‘Handset settings’ and press D.
– Select ‘Registration’ and press D.
– Select ‘Base 1’ and press D if you have only one
Punkt Base unit (DP01), already available and
powered on. If your Punkt Handset had been
previously registered to another Base unit, you
can select ‘Base 2’ (or ’Base 3;4’) in order to keep
also the previous registration setting of your
Handset to that base.
– Insert the base PIN code (4 digits, default: 0000),
then press
– Press D. The message: ‘Press and hold page
button on base’ will show up on the display
– Keep pressed the page button G on the base until
the display will show up the list ‘Handset
1,2,3,4,5’. Release the page button now
– Select your ‘Handset number’ among the list just
showed up (as default case you should select:
‘Handset 2’), then press D to end the registration
procedure
– Once the registration procedure is finished, press
again the page button G shortly on the base, in
order to check that all handsets which are
registered to that base will ring at the same time
on incoming call

1 Deckel auf der Unterseite des Mobilteils
abnehmen
2 Akkus einlegen und Deckel
wieder schließen (Achten Sie auf die richtige
Polung der Akkus, sie müssen mit den
Polaritätsangaben ‘+’ und ‘-’ im Akkufach
übereinstimmen)
3 Telefonkabel einstecken (nicht für DP 01S)
4 Netzkabel einstecken
5 An Telefonleitung und Stromnetz anschließen
6 Mobilteil in die Ladeschale stellen, um die Akkus
aufzuladen (wenn das Mobilteil richtig in die
Ladeschale gestellt wurde, ertönt ein
Hinweissignal)
7 Akkus mindestens 16 Stunden in der Ladeschale
zum Aufladen lassen, bevor das Telefon zum
ersten Mal benutzt wird. In der Folge reichen 8
Stunden, um die Akkus wieder voll aufzuladen.
