Previous assembly : The water outlet housing (1) is made of an aluminium alloy and is secured by 8 bolts with washers.
New assembly : The water outlet housing (1) is made of a synthetic material and the bolts with washers are replaced with
flanged bolts (which cannot be separated from the housing).

ESSENTIAL : Press on the boss of the coolant temperature sensor and detach the housing gradually using a
screwdriver .

2. Refitting

Proceed in the reverse order to removal.

3. Tightening torques

Tightening torque to 1.0 da.Nm (Risk of cracking).

4. Interchangeability

The new assembly is interchangeable on TU1JP - TU3JP - TU5JP engines.
