Region management information
The unit can play back BD-Video/DVD-Video discs of the following regions codes, including “ALL”:

Firmware updates
Occasionally, Panasonic may release updated firmware for this unit that may add or improve the way a feature operates. These updates are available free of charge.
This unit is capable of checking the firmware automatically when connected to the Internet via a broadband connection. When a new firmware version is available, the following message is displayed.
You can also download the latest firmware from the following website and store it to a USB device to update the firmware. http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/ (This site is in English only.)
DO NOT DISCONNECT the unit from the AC power or perform any operation while the update takes place. After the firmware is installed, unit will restart and the following screen will be displayed.

If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials or workmanship, Panasonic Corporation of North America (referred to as “the warrantor”) will, for the length of the period indicated on the chart below, which starts with the date of original purchase (“warranty period”), at its option either (a) repair your product with new or refurbished parts, (b) replace it with a new or a refurbished equivalent value product, or (c) refund your purchase price. The decision to repair, replace or refund will be made by the warrantor.

Include a letter detailing the complaint, a return address and provide a daytime phone number where you can be reached. A valid registered receipt is required under the Limited Warranty.
IF REPAIR IS NEEDED DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, THE PURCHASER WILL BE REQUIRED TO FURNISH A SALES RECEIPT/PROOF OF PURCHASE INDICATING DATE OF PURCHASE, AMOUNT PAID AND PLACE OF PURCHASE. CUSTOMER WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE REPAIR OF ANY UNIT RECEIVED WITHOUT SUCH PROOF OF PURCHASE.

The power plug is the disconnecting device. Install this unit so that the
power plug can be unplugged from the socket outlet immediately.

Placement

Do not place the unit on amplifiers/receivers or equipment that may

Batteries
Mishandling of batteries can cause electrolyte leakage and may cause a fire. Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with

This AC adaptor operates on AC between 110 V and 240 V. But In the U.S.A. and Canada, the AC adaptor must be connected to a
120 V AC power supply only.

remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds. – POWER LED starts to flash, and “00 RET” is displayed on the
screen.
3 Press [1] (right) repeatedly on the remote control until “08 FIN” is
displayed on the screen.
4 Press and hold [OK] for more than 5 seconds. The operation history may be recorded in the memory of this unit.
