Pace CT-15, TW-15 Service Manual

The enclosed PACE Guide Block Kit (P/N 6993-0105) is used on CT-15 ConducTweez and TW-15 ResisTwccz handpieces only. Install the kit using the following procedure and illustration to obtain optimum results.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

GUIDE BLOCK KIT

PACE P/N 6993-0105-P1

1. Loosen the Tip Retaining Screws and remove any installed Tip(s) from the Ti p H ol der s.

2. Referring to the illustration, remove the one Tip Retaining Screw pictured closest t o the G uide B lock Screw .

3. Slide the Guide Block over Tip Holders with the tapered edge toward the handpiece. The Guide Block Screw must be on the outside edge of the Tip Holder. Refer to the illustration for proper orientation of Guide Blo c k .

4. Squeeze handpiece handles together. Position the Guide Block against the end of the handpiece as shown.

Tighten Guide Block S crew to secure in po sition. Do NOT over tighten screw. Release the handpiece.

5. Open and close handpiece to check for free movement of Tip Holders. If any bin din g occu rs, loo sen G uide B lock Screw, readjust Guide Block and tighten Guid e Bl ock Scr ew.

6. Install the Tip Retaining Screw removed in step 2. Do NOT tighten.

7. Install the Molded Stop in position as shown.

8. Install the Tip(s) in Tip Holders. Tighten Tip Retaining Screws to secure in p os it io n.

Insure that the handpiece is at room temperature before installing the Guide Block Kit.

CAUTION

9. Check Tip(s) for proper alignment. Readjust Tip alignment as required.
