Transmitter Verification: You received two remote control transmitters to operate your Executive
System. Confirmation of the number of transmitters coded or "learned" to operate the system will be
performed automatically. Each time your ignition switch is turned to the "on" or "run" position the red
LED Status Light located on or under the dashboard will indicate the number of transmitters
programmed to your system. The number verification process lasts for 10 seconds.
For example: Two flashes and a pause indicates two transmitters are coded to operate the system.
Now when you retrieve your vehicle after valet parking or servicing, you will have peace of mind,
knowing that only your transmitters will operate your system.
Concealed Transmitter Codes: Each Executive system includes two transmitters, and up to two
additional transmitters can be stored in the unit's memory for your convenience. Each transmitter has
its own unique code. Thus, no other transmitter is coded the same as yours. In fact, no one, including
the factory, can program another transmitter exactly like yours because the code is built inside the
transmitter's microprocessor and cannot be seen or copied.
Transmitter Code JumpingTM: Each time you press a transmitter button the transmitter will
advance to the next digital code in sequence. Each time the alarm receives the correct digitally coded
signal from your transmitter, the receiver will then advance to the next digital code in sequence to match
the transmitter. Therefore, you can never transmit the same code twice, thereby preventing a code
grabbing device from operating your system.
Transmitter Battery Saver Feature: Many times transmitter batteries are prematurely exhausted
because the transmitter buttons are inadvertently pressed by objects while in a pocket or purse. The
Executive transmitter will turn itself "off" after 15 seconds of continuous transmission, and thus
prevent drained transmitter batteries.

Unlocking Of Driver's Door Only: Some vehicles are capable of unlocking the driver's door
only when the transmitter's UNLOCK button is pressed. If the UNLOCK button is pressed again
within 5 seconds, all the doors will unlock. Ask the dealership if your vehicle is capable of this
feature.
Passive Automatic Locking Of Doors 30 Seconds After Ignition Is Turned "Off" : This
feature can be turned on or off from inside the Executive Control Module. The Executive 2300,
2500, and 3000 can be programmed to automatically:
1) Lock the doors 30 seconds after the ignition switch is turned "off".
2) The doors will automatically relock 90 seconds after unlocking from the transmitter, unless the
ignition switch is turned on. This prevents accidental unlocking of your doors.
Special Programmable Feature: If the transmitter's UNLOCK button is accidentally pressed
the Executive System will automatically relock the doors in 90 seconds unless a door is opened or
the ignition switch is turned "on".

Flashing Light Confirmation
(Executive 2500 & 3000)
The Executive 2300, 2500, and 3000 provide an active and automatic (passive) Starter Disable.
The passive Starter Disable may qualify you for an insurance discount, so please check with your
insurance agent.
Executive 2300, 2500, and 3000:
Active Starter Disable: Whenever the doors are locked via the remote transmitter, the Starter
Disable will instantly engage. Unlocking the doors with the transmitter will turn off the Starter
Disable circuit for 90 seconds, during which time the engine may be started. If no attempt to start
the vehicle is made in the 90 second period, the Starter Disable will automatically re-engage. As a
reminder, during the 90 second period the red LED Status Light will be flashing fast, and when the
Starter Disable is engaged the LED Status Light will flash slow.
Passive Starter Disable: 30 seconds after the ignition switch is turned "off", the Starter
Disable will automatically engage. Once engaged, using the transmitter to unlock the doors or
pressing the Easy Valet switch (within 5 seconds of turning the ignition switch "on") will disengage the Starter Disable. As a reminder, during the 30 second period the red LED Status Light will
be flashing fast, and when the Starter Disable is engaged the LED Status Light will flash slow.
Executive 2500 and 3000:
Open Doors And Flashing Lights: The Executive 2500 and 3000 have the same Starter Disable
operation, but with some additional features. Opening a door will momentarily interrupt the passive
Starter Disable engagement process until the last open door is closed. When the last door is closed,
the exterior and interior lights will flash once to indicate that the Passive Starter Disable will
engage in 30 seconds.

Remote Personal Protection
The Executive 2500 and 3000 include a Remote Panic Personal Protection Feature. In the event
of attack or assault, or any time you feel threatened or in need of assistance, you can use your
transmitter to activate this feature. This feature operates regardless of the system's status or if the
ignition switch is "on" or "off".
Pressing the LOCK button for 3 seconds will honk the horn and flash the exterior and interior
lights for 60 seconds. During this period the horn will honk 10 times every 10 seconds, with a 5
second pause between each 10 second interval.
At the end of this 60 second Panic period, the Executive System will stop and reset. The car's
doors will remain locked (if equipped), the Starter Disable will remain engaged, and the red LED
Status Light will flash. Also, the Executive 3000 Security System will remain in the armed
condition. If the system was in Valet Mode when Remote Panic was engaged, the doors will remain
locked, but the Starter Disable will not be engaged and the red LED Status Light will be on solid.
The Executive 3000 Security System will remain disarmed.
If you decide to stop the Panic Feature during the 60 second period, press the UNLOCK button
to stop the Panic function. To reset your system, simply press the transmitter's LOCK button, or in
90 seconds the system will automatically reset or rearm itself.
(Executive 2500 & 3000)

The Executive 3000 is a Keyless Entry and Automotive Security System. If an unauthorized
entry is attempted, your vehicle will respond by relocking the doors*, flashing the exterior and
interior lights, and sounding the horn. The flashing lights and horn honk output will stop and reset
at 60 seconds provided all protected entries are secure. If a protected entry is still open at 60
seconds, the system will cycle for two more 60 second durations and then reset. The Executive
3000 is capable of protecting all of your vehicle's doors, hood, and trunk or hatch. Optional sensors
can be added to the system to detect impact or movement in or around the vehicle. The Executive
3000 also features an output for an optional Electronic Siren.
Arming the Executive 3000: The Security System arms when the Transmitter's LOCK button
is pressed or automatically 30 seconds after the last door closes. As a reminder, the Easy Valet
Switch can be used to prevent the system from arming automatically.
Disarming the Executive 3000: Using the Transmitter's UNLOCK or OPTION buttons will
disarm the Security System even if it is sounding (lights flashing and horn honking). Pressing the
Easy Valet Switch will also disarm the system, but only within 5 seconds of turning the ignition
switch "on".
Warn-Away Feature: An optional Dual-Zone Sensor can be configured to honk the horn, or
chirp the optional Electronic Siren, if the vehicle receives a mild impact or if someone is extremely
close to or reaching into your vehicle. Please see your Executive dealer for details.
* If equipped with factory installed power door locks.

Programming Transmitter Codes
Programming Transmitter Codes To An Executive System- To use an additional or
replacement transmitter, it's code must first be added to the Executive System module's memory.
The dealership where you purchased your Executive System can provide and program transmitters.
In the event you wish to program a transmitter, please follow these procedures carefully:
1) Have all the transmitters that you wish to operate your Executive System at hand. Any
time a transmitter code is programmed into your Executive System, the existing codes are
all erased. This, in addition to the Code Verification feature, prevents someone from adding
an unauthorized transmitter to your system.
2) Within 5 seconds, turn the ignition switch "on" five times: "on", "off", "on", "off", "on",
"off", "on", "off", then "on" again; the fifth time leaving it "on".
3) The doors will unlock, lock, then unlock* again to indicate that the system is ready to
receive and store transmitter codes.
4) Within 10 seconds press the LOCK button on the first transmitter you wish to use until
the doors lock and then unlock. This indicates the transmitter's code is learned by the
system. It is only necessary to press the LOCK button as the rest of the transmitter's
functions are stored automatically.
5) Repeat Step 4 within 10 seconds for the second transmitter, then continue this step with
each of the transmitters (up to four) that you wish to operate your Executive System. The
system will leave transmitter programming mode when the ignition switch is turned "off"
or after 10 seconds of no transmitter activity, or upon learning the fourth transmitter.
* If equipped with factory installed power door locks.
Operating Multiple Vehicles From One Transmitter: Because each transmitter is unique and
it's code is stored by the Keyless/Security unit, operating multiple vehicles is simply a matter
of following the code programming procedure with each vehicle. NOTE: When the vehicles are parked
within transmission range of each other, all the vehicles will respond to a transmitter operation.
-13
(All Models)
Arm- A security system which is ready to detect and respond to an intrusion or sensor input.
Code- A digitized signal which is assigned to each transmitter to make it unique and different from
other transmitters. This is done in all Executive transmitters at the factory and cannot be duplicated.
Code Grabbing- A method whereby a thief, using a device that records and then plays back a copy
of your transmitter's signal, gains entry to your vehicle. This practice is currently not common.
Code JumpingTM- The transmitter's ability to change it's code each time it transmits, rendering
Code Grabber units ineffective.
Disarm- A security system which is in a "stand-by" mode- not armed, but not in valet mode.
Keyless Entry- A popular option that allows you to lock and unlock your vehicle's doors by means
of a transmitter or key pad, without the use of the normal car key.
LED- Commonly used term for Light Emitting Diode, an electrical component that illuminates
when
electricity flows through it. For practical purposes, consider it as an indicator light.
Panic- A personal protection feature which will trigger a security system from the transmitter.
Transmitter- The small remote control attached to your key ring that will emit a Radio Frequency
(RF) signal whenever one of it's three buttons is pressed. Since the transmitter is limited to a single
frequency assigned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), it's signal must be encoded
so that only your transmitter will operate your vehicle. See "Code" above.
Triggered- A security system which has detected an entry attempt or an input from a sensor. A
triggered security system will attract attention to the vehicle by flashing exterior lights and sounding
the horn or a siren. A starter disable will prevent the vehicle from being started and Executive's
unique relocking of the doors offers a still higher level of protection.
Valet Mode- A condition in which the starter disable will not engage (all Executive Systems), or a
security system will not arm (Executive 3000).

Tips To Avoid Being A Victim
1) Always be aware of your surroundings. An alert and aware person is less likely to become a
crime victim than someone who is preoccupied and easily approached.
2) While driving in high crime areas, always keep your doors locked and your windows up. Your
Executive System can automatically lock your doors when the ignition switch is turned "on".
3) Always attempt to park your vehicle in a well lit and visible location with your system
activated and doors locked. If your system has interior/exterior light illumination, take
advantageof this feature to look in and around your vehicle.
4) While in parking garage structures, always attempt to back-in to your parking space. This will
provide a less visually encumbered and quicker way to exit your parking space if you are being
pursued. This will also allow you to better see the flashing exterior light confirmation, if
equipped.
5) While driving or stopped at an intersection, if your vehicle is bumped in the rear by
another vehicle or the vehicle behind you is flashing it's headlights, consider the occupants of
the vehicle hostile and immediately drive to the nearest police or fire station."Bump and run"
thieves and carjackers are becoming an increasingly severe problem in America.
6) While parked and sitting in your vehicle, always keep your doors locked , windows rolled up
and engine idling if possible. If you are approached by a potential carjacker, use your Execu-
tivetransmitter to Panic the system to scare the attacker away.
7) Control access of your keys. Never leave your house and other keys with a valet parking
attendant or mechanic.
8) After someone else has had access to your vehicle, always verify that your transmitters still
operate your system, and use the Transmitter Verification feature to ensure that no additional
transmitters have been added.
