Product Selection
The RH-44 (Models 3586, 3586i) phone is available as a CDMA tri-mode engine (1900/
800 MHz CDMA and 800 MHz AMPS), supporting the CDMA 1XRTT Standard Air Interface. Model 3586i variant supports GPS technology to comply with the USA Location
Emergency Services mandate.
Three antennas are used — internal PIFA = Planar Internal "F" Antenna; external, extendable silver “whip”; and Global Positioning System (GPS). Note: Only Model 3586i supports
GPS technology. When the whip antenna is in, only the internal antenna is active. When
the whip is retracted, both antennas are active. Access to test cellular engine is possible
once the A cover is removed. A second RF connector to test GPS technology is possible
via removal of the B cover (Model 3586i only).
RH-44 features include an internal vibra, CSTN 4096 color display, MIDI sound support, a
2.5 mm Universal headset connector with TTY/TDD support, GPS technology (Model
3586i only), T9 predictive text input, and voice dialing , etc.
