1. Release the A-cover from the bottom side of the
unit.

Also protect the inner part of the window
with a foil. The keymat is loose inside the Acover.

Take away the A-cover.

Open the six screws in the predefined order-
with a Torx 6 driver. When re-assembling the
reverse order has to be taken with a torque
of 28Ncm.
5. When releasing the side clips of the D-cover
6. This is the second clip.
you can use the SRT 6.

Take away the Display Assembly (UI module)
and avoid touching the pads.
8. There are two snaps on each side of the metal
frame.

9. Remove the metal frame.
11 . The next step is to take out the Radio-
Module EY1A. Take care of LEDs.1
10. If you hold the UI module upside down,
the speaker drops out of its hollow.
12. Lift up the Battery Connector with your
fingers. You can use the SRT-6 opening tool.
13. Remove the power key.

To loosen the System Connector you can
use the SRT-6 opening tool. Take care not to
scratch D-cover or connector housing.

15. The Microphone can be changed sepa-
rately. To remove it from connector housing ,
you have to push it with for example Torx
Driver.
When re-assembling the Microphone
remember the right direction. The hole of the
Microphone has to point to the hole of the
connector housing.

17. The SALT speaker is taped to the D-cover
and can be removed with a straight bladedscrewdriver.
19. Remove the SIM card support this way.
18. If you need to change the VIBRA motorstrong tweezers or pliers can be taken.
20. The Release Spring is locked on two sides.
Use a screwdriver to unlock the two snaps
21. After releasing the two hooks, you can
remove the Release Springs easily.

22. Remove Shielding Lids. Do not reuse shielding lid once it is removed.
23. When working with PWB, always use
repair Jig.
