GETTING STARTED
NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY® SYSTEM
The Nissan Intelligent Key® system allows you to lock or unlock your vehicle, open your trunk lid and start the engine. It is important to make sure the Intelligent Key is with you (that is, in your pocket or purse).
KEY-LINKED SYSTEM (if so equipped)
The vehicle information display has added
features, allowing the Key-Linked System to remember some of the vehicle information display settings.
The Key-Linked System states which
Intelligent Key is being recognized , and enabling/disabling of the system’s function can be easily accessed through notications on the vehicle information display.
The Key-Linked System can be turned on or
o through the vehicle information display in the “Key-Linked Settings” screen .
You can set a maximum of two Intelligent
Keys to the Key-Linked System.
When the system is enabled, the recognized Intelligent Key is displayed at engine
start-up (Engine ON) as well as within the “Key-Linked Settings” screen .
When the system is active, the vehicle information display setting items are
memorized for each key that has been enabled in the Key-Linked System.
If two keys are in the vehicle, the Key-Linked System will recognize the key that
was used most recently; this usually means the last key to unlock/lock the door from the Intelligent Key.
If there is a desire to change to another key that is in the
vehicle, turn o the engine and initiate communication from the desired key.

at Engine ON for the recognition of the system with a shortcut function to the setup menu.

The Remote Engine Start operating range is approximately 200 ft (60 m) from
the vehicle.The eective operating range may be shorter if there are walls,strong radio wave sources near the operating location or other obstructions between the key and the vehicle.
For the Remote Engine Start to function, the vehicle must be in the P (Park)

To start your vehicle remotely:

PANIC ALARM
The Intelligent Key can also be used to activate the panic alarm by pressing
and holding the button for 1 second. Once activated, the panic alarm and headlights will stay on for a period of time.
Press any button on the key fob to turn the panic alarm o, or press the door
request switch if the key fob is in range.
AUTO UNLOCK
In the “Vehicle Settings” menu in the vehicle information display, there are three options to choose from for the auto unlock function:
• OFF - Auto Unlock is disabled.
• Ignition OFF - All doors unlock when the ignition is turned o.
• Shift into Park - All doors unlock when the shift lever is moved to the P (Park) position.
NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY® BATTERY DISCHARGE
If the battery of the Intelligent Key is
discharged or environmental conditions interfere with the Intelligent Key operation,Key Battery Low will display in the vehicle information display and the engine will need to be started according to the following procedure:
1.Move the shift lever to the P (Park) position.
2.Firmly apply the foot brake.
3.Touch the ignition switch with the Intelligent Key. A chime will sound.
4.Within 10 seconds after the chime sounds, push the ignition switch while
depressing the brake pedal and the engine will start.

To adjust the angle of the front seat cushion
or height of the seat, push the front or rear end of the switch up or down.

To adjust the seat lumbar support, push the
front or back end of the switch .
THIGH SUPPORT (if so equipped for driver’s seat)
Pull up and hold the lever to extend
the front portion of the seat to the desired position.
FOLDING DOWN THE REAR SEAT
To fold the rear seatback, press down on
the button on the rear parcel shelf . The passenger’s side rear seatback will release.
The pull straps located in the trunk will
release the rear seatbacks to allow them to fold forward.
To raise the seatback, lift up each seatback
and push it to the upright position until it is latched.
CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEATS (if so equipped)
The climate-controlled seat warms up or cools down the front seat by blowing warm or cool air from under the surface of the seat.To adjust the temperature of the climate controlled seat:
Turn the knobs to the left to cool the seat
or to the right to heat the seat.

AUTOMATIC DRIVE POSITIONER (if so equipped)
Two positions for the driver’s seat, steering column (if so equipped) and outside
mirrors can be stored in the automatic drive positioner memory.
Follow this procedure to set the memory positions:
• Place the ignition switch in the ON or ACC position. (The vehicle should be stopped while setting the memory.)
• Adjust the driver’s seat, steering column (if so equipped) and outside mirrors to the desired positions using the adjusting switches for each feature.

• The indicator light for the memory switch you select will illuminate for approximately 5 seconds, and a chime will sound when the memory is stored.

REAR DOOR ALERT
The Rear Door Alert functions under certain conditions to indicate there may be an object or passenger in the rear seat(s).The system is activated when a rear door is opened and closed within 10 minutes of the vehicle being driven.
REAR DOOR ALERT (ACTIVE)
When the system is active, and “Horn & Alert”
is selected in the vehicle information display,the horn will sound three times and a Check Rear Seat For All Articles warning will appear on the display.
To activate Rear Door Alert in your vehicle
information display:
• Press the buttons on the steering wheel until the “Settings” menu screen appears and press the OK button.
• Using the Settings”, “Rear Door Alert” and press the OK button.
• Choose from the following options: “OFF”,“Horn & Alert” or “Alert Only”, and then press the OK button.
• To dismiss the warning, use the buttonson the steering wheel to select “DismissMessage” and press the OK button. If noselection is made, this message will disappearafter a period of time.
To temporarily disable Rear Door Alert for the remainder of the current trip,

OUTSIDE MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH
The outside mirror remote control will
operate only when the ignition switch is in the ACC or ON position.
To select the right or left side mirror, slide the
mirror control switch right or left.
To adjust the mirror angle, move the control
switch up, down, right or left.
To prevent accidentally moving the mirror,
slide the mirror control switch to the center (neutral) position.
REVERSE TILT-DOWN FEATURE (if so equipped)
The reverse tilt-down feature will turn both outside mirror surfaces downward to provide better rear visibility close to the vehicle.
1.Apply the brake.
2.Place the ignition switch in the ON position.
3.Move the shift lever to the R (Reverse) position.
4.Both outside mirror surfaces will turn downward. (The mirror control switch
must be out of the center [neutral] position.)
The outside mirror surfaces will return to their original positions when one of the following conditions occurs:
The shift lever is moved to any position other than R (Reverse).
The outside mirror control switch is set to the center (neutral) position.
The ignition switch is placed in the OFF position.

HOMELINK
HOMELINK® UNIVERSAL TRANSCEIVER (if so equipped)
The HomeLink® Universal Transceiver can learn and consolidate the functions
of up to three dierent hand-held transmitters, operating items such as garage doors, property gates, outdoor and indoor lights or alarm systems.
To program the HomeLink Universal Transceiver:
• Position the handheld transceiver 1-3 in (2-8 cm) away from the HomeLink surface, keeping the HomeLink indicator light in view.
• Press and hold the desired HomeLink button and the handheld transmitter button simultaneously until the HomeLink indicator light ashes slowly and then rapidly.
• Both buttons may be released when the indicator light ashes rapidly.
To verify the programing is complete, press and hold the HomeLink button and
observe the indicator light:
• A solid, continuous light indicates the programing is complete and the HomeLink button will activate your device.
• A blinking light that turns to a solid, continuous light after 2 seconds indicates additional steps are required to complete the programing.
An additional person may make the remaining steps easier.To complete the
programing process:
• At the receiver of the device that you are programing to the HomeLink button, press and release the “learn” or “smart” button (the name may vary by manufacturer, but it is usually located near where the hanging antenna wire is attached to the unit).You have approximately 30 seconds to initiate the following step.
• Press and hold the programed button for 2 seconds and release.
You may have to repeat the previous two steps up to three times to complete
the programing process. HomeLink should now activate your device.
