These instructions are part of the appliance. Read all instructions and all safety instructions before operating the appliance.

beverages according to these instructions.

• Do not use the appliance for anything

other than its intended use.

• This appliance has been designed for

indoor and non-extreme temperature

conditions use only.

• Protect the appliance from direct sunlight eect, prolonged water splash and humidity.

This is a household appliance only. It is not intended to be used in: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.

• This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age, as long as they are supervised and have been given instructions about using the appliance safely and are fully aware of the dangers involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and they are supervised by an adult.

• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age.

• This appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or whose experience or knowledge is not sucient, provided they are supervised

or have received instruction to use the appliance safely and understand the dangers.

• The appliance is only to be used with the base provided.

• The manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply for any commercial use, inappropriate handling or use of the appliance, any damage resulting from use for other purposes, faulty operation, non-professionals’ repair or failure to comply with the instructions.

Avoid risk of fatal electric shock and re

• In case of an emergency: immediately remove the plug from the power socket.

• Only plug the appliance into suitable, easily accessible, earthed mains connections. Make sure that the voltage of the power source is the same as that specied on the rating plate. The use of an incorrect connection voids the guarantee.

The appliance must only be connected after installation

• Do not pull the cord over sharp edges, clamp it or allow it to hang down.

• Keep the cord away from heat and damp.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons, in order to avoid all risks.

• If the cord is damaged, do not operate the appliance. Return the appliance to the Nespresso Club or to a Nespresso authorized representative.

• If an extension cord is required, use only an earthed cord with a conductor crosssection of at least 1.5 mm2 or matching input power.

• To avoid hazardous damage, never place the appliance on or beside hot surfaces such as radiators, stoves, ovens, gas burners, open ame, or similar.

• Always place it on a horizontal, stable and even surface. The surface must be resistant to heat and uids, like water, coee, descaler or similar.

mains when not in use for a long period. Disconnect by pulling out the plug and not by pulling the cord itself or the cord may become damaged.

• Before cleaning and servicing, remove the plug from the mains socket and let the appliance cool down.

• To disconnec t the appliance, stop any preparation, then remove the plug from the power socket.

• Never touch the cord with wet hands.

• Never immerse the appliance or part of it in water or other liquid.

• Never put the appliance or part of it in a dishwasher.

• Electricity and water together is dangerous and can lead to fatal electrical shocks.

• Do not open the appliance. Hazardous voltage inside!

• Do not put anything into any openings. Doing so may cause re or electrical shock!

• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in re, electric shock or injury to persons.

Avoid possible harm when operating the appliance

• Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.

• Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, has been dropped or not operating perfectly. Immediately remove the plug from the power socket. Contact the Nespresso Club or Nespresso authorized representative for examination, repair or adjustment.

• A damaged appliance can cause electrical shocks, burns and re.

• Always completely close the lever and never lift it during operation. Scalding may occur.

• Do not put ngers under coee outlet, risk of scalding.

• Do not put ngers into capsule compartment or the capsule shaft. Danger of injury!

• Water could ow around a capsule when not perforated by the blades and damage the appliance.

• Never use a damaged or deformed capsule. If a capsule is blocked in the capsule compartment, turn the

machine o and unplug it before any operation. Call the Nespresso Club or Nespresso authorized representative.

• Always ll the water tank with cold, fresh drinking water.

• Empty water tank if the appliance will not be used for an extended time (holidays, etc.).

• Replace water in water tank when the appliance is not operated for a weekend or a similar period of time.

• Do not use the appliance without the drip tray and drip grid to avoid spilling any liquid on surrounding surfaces.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles, protected surfaces or knobs.

• To avoid scalding, keep always the milk frother lid closed during preparation.

• Ex treme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot liquids.

• Do not use any strong cleaning agent or solvent cleaner. Use a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent to clean the surface of the appliance.

• To clean machine, use only clean cleaning tools.

• When unpacking the machine, remove the plastic lm and dispose.

• This appliance is designed for Nespresso coee capsules available exclusively through the Nespresso Club or your Nespresso authorized representative.

• All Nespresso appliances pass stringent controls. Reliability tests under practical conditions are performed randomly on selected units. This can show traces of any previous use.

• Nespresso reserves the right to change instructions without prior notice.

Cleaning the Aeroccino

• Unplug appliance when not in use for a long period and before cleaning. Allow to cool down before putting on or taking o parts, and before cleaning. Remove the appliance from the base before cleaning.

• Please make sure the bottom of the

Aeroccino and area underneath the base is dry, especially the

connector area, prior to use. Electricity

Descaling

• Nespresso descaling agent, when used correctly, helps ensure the proper functioning of your machine over its lifetime and that your coee experience is as perfect as the rst day.

• For coee and coee&milk machines, descale according to user manual recommendations or specic alerts.

This machine is equip ped with an energy saving feat ure. The machine will automatically enter powe r o mode after 9 minutes.

ENERGY SAVING MODE/

To turn the machine on eith er press the Espresso or Lungo button.

1. With the machine OFF, press and hold the E spresso button for 3 seconds.

3. To change this settin g press the Espresso but ton: One time for power o  mode after 9 minutes. One more time for p ower o mode after 30 minutes.

2. The Espres so button will blink to indicate th e current setting.

4. To exit the energy saving m ode press the Lungo but ton for 3 seconds.

To change this setting:

To turn the machine o bef ore automatic Power O mode, press both the Espresso and Lungo buttons simultaneously.

FIRST USE OR AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF NONUSE/

1. Rinse the water tank before lling with fresh drinking water.

3. Plug into mains. 4. Press the Espresso or Lungo button to activate the machine.

2. Place a container (min. 1 L) under the coffee outlet.

CAUTION: rst read the safety precautions to avoid risks of fatal electrical shocks and re.

5. Press the Lungo button to rinse the machine. Repeat 3 times.

Blinking Lights: heating up (25 sec)

Steady Lights: ready

6. Clean jug before rst use and after every use according to instructions on page 15.

首次使用或经长期停用

1. 注入饮用水前，冲洗水箱。

3. Lift the lever completely and insert the capsule.

1. Rinse then ll the water tank with fresh drinking water.

4. Close the lever and place a cup under the coee outlet.

6. Remove the cup. Lift and close the lever to eject the capsule into the used capsule container.

CAUTION: never lift lever during operation and refer to the safety precautions to avoid possible harm

when operating the appliance.

NOTE: during heat up, you can press either coee button whilst blinking. The coee will then ow

automatically when the machine is ready.

5. Press the Espresso (40 ml) or the Lungo (110 ml) button to start. Preparation will stop automatically. To stop the coee ow or top up your coee, press again.

COFFEE PREPARATION/

2. Press the Espresso or Lungo button to activate the machine.

4. Press and hold the Espresso or Lungo button.

5. Release button once the desired volume is served.

6. Water volume level is now stored.

2. Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water and insert the capsule.

AEROCCINO INSTRUCTIONS OF USE /

CAUTION: Risk of electrical shock and re! Make sure the under side of the milk frother is dry.

TIP: For optimal milk froth, use whole or semi skimmed milk at refrigerated temperature (about 4-6 °C).

To guarantee hygiene conditions, use heat treated milk

(pasteurized), refrigerated & freshly opened only. Milk which has been frozen will not froth.

CAUTION: To ensure hygienic conditions and proper maintenance of the equipment, it is highly recommended to not use special enriched milks,

powdered reconstituted milks nor avoured milks. CAUTION: Syrup, sugar, chocolate powder or any other additives should not be added directly in the jug. This may damage the coating during the preparation.

AEROCCINO  使用说明

4. Place the lid on the Aeroccino. For a hot preparation, briey press button to start. Button lights up Red. Take approx. 70-80 sec. For cold milk froth, keep button pressed for approx. 2 seconds. Button lights up Blue. Takes approx. 60 sec.

CAUTION: Use only a non-metal spoon to collect the foam in the jug. CAUTION: Clean before the rst use and after each use according to the cleaning instructions. 1. Remove the jug from the base, remove seal from lid, remove the whisk, remove the spring from the whisk.

3. Do not put the jug in t he dishwasher and do not immerse into water f or cleaning purposes, d o not water the bottom par t of the Aeroccino which contains the elec trical plug, but clean the inter ior of the Aeroccino with detergent an d rinse with warm/hot water. Use non-abrasive materials.
