Important Safety Instructions
Follow these safety precautions when using your cordless phone to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons or property:
1. Keep all slits and openings of the phone unblocked. Do not set the phone on a heating register or over a radiator. Ensure that proper ventilation is provided at the installation site.
2. Do not use this product while wet or while standing in water.

10. Do not use this cordless phone to report a gas leak, especially if you are in the vicinity of the gas line.
Unplug this cordless phone immediately from an outlet if:
• The power cord or plug is damaged or frayed.
• Liquid has been spilled into the product.
• The product has been exposed to rain or water. Do not retrieve the handset or base until after you have unplugged the power and phone from the wall. Then

Getting Started
Before you can use your phone, you need to install and charge the battery. Follow the battery safety instructions below when handling or working with the battery.
Battery Safety Instructions
• Do not burn, disassemble, mutilate, or puncture the battery. The battery contains toxic materials that could be released, resulting in injury.

Installing the Battery
1. Remove the battery door.
2. Insert the battery into the battery compartment.
3. Plug the battery connector into the receptacle in the battery compartment and replace the battery door.

Charging the Battery
1. Plug the power cord into the back of the base and into an outlet.

2. Place the phone in the base so the Charge/Page LED on the base lights up.
3. Charge the battery for at least 12 hours. Do not plug the base into the phone jack until the battery is fully charged.

Connecting Your Phone to the Phone Line
Do not plug the base into the phone jack until after you have charged the battery for at least 12 hours.

Setting Up the Phone
Press Flash to enter the setup menu. When using the setup menus, points to the current setting.

Finding the Phone When It Is Off the Base
1. Press on the base.
2. Listen for Mickey’s or Ariel’s voice. Follow the sound of Mickey’s or Ariel’s voice to find the phone.
3. Once you find the phone, press any button on the phone or on the

Press Talk. When you hear the dial tone, dial the number. If you hear other calls, static, or noise on the line, or if the signal is weak, press

until you get on a clear channel without interference.

Saving a Number in Your Phone’s Memory
Memory dialing makes it easy to dial phone numbers that you call frequently. You can save 10 phone numbers in your phone’s memory. Each phone number can have up to 24 numbers.

Troubleshooting
What to do if...
The phone doesn’t work at all (no lights, no dial tone)
• Check the power and phone connections. Is the power cord plugged in at both ends? Phone cable?
• Check the battery. Is it charged? Does it fit properly?
No dial tone • Check the items listed above.

The signal is weak or has noise or static
• Check the battery and power.
• Move closer to the base.
• Move the base to a different power outlet (especially if the phone is sharing an outlet with an appliance).

Software that does not conform to this warranty. We may use functionally equivalent reconditioned/refurbished/pre-owned or new Products, Accessories or parts. No data, software or applications added to your Product, Accessory or Software, including but not limited to personal contacts, games and ringer tones, will be reinstalled.
