MC 2105 SOLID STATE 105 WATT PER CHANNEL POWER AMPLIFIER
A- LEFT GAIN
Used to control gain or volume in the left
channel. Clockwise rotation increases volume.
B- METER RANGE
-20: Amplifier delivers % watt (500 milli­watts) when the meter indicates "0." With a meter indication of -3 dB, the amplifier delivers ¼ watt (250 milliwatts). A -10 dB meter indica­tion, the amplifier delivers 50 milliwatts.
-10: Amplifier delivers 5 watts when the
meter indicates "0." With a meter indication of
-3 dB, the amplifier delivers 2% watts output. A -10 dB meter indication, the amplifier delivers ½ watt.
0: Amplifier delivers 100 watts when the meter indicates +3 dB. With meter indication of "0," the amplifier delivers 50 watts. With a meter indication of -3 dB, the amplifier delivers 25 watts. A meter indication of -10 dB, the amplifier delivers 5 watts, (a meter reading of +3.2 dB indicates 105 watts power output)
OFF: Meters not operating — no indication.
C- RIGHT GAIN
Used to control the gain or volume in the right channel. Clockwise rotation increases volume.
D- HEADPHONE
Use the jack for low impedance dynamic stereo headphones. The headphone jack is not affected by the SPEAKER switch.
E- SPEAKERS
OFF: The loudspeakers are turned off when the SPEAKER switch is in the OFF position. Permits listening to headphones in private.
MUST BE IN THE "ON" POSITION TO
HEAR MUSIC FROM THE LOUDSPEAKERS.
ON: Music will be heard through the loud­speakers. Use this as the normal listening position.
F- AC POWER
Turns the AC power to the amplifier on or off. The MC 2105 operates on 117 to 130 volt, 50/60 Hz. The amplifier can be turned on and off if its power cord is plugged in one of the auxiliary AC power outlets on the program source, and the POWER switch is left in the "ON" position.
