Safety
Read instructions for use.
If the unit is damaged, please contact Lumie before use.
Keep away from water and damp.
For indoor use only.
The unit gets warm when the light is on so make sure that it is not covered.
Use only the mains power adaptor supplied.
Keep the power supply and cable away from heated surfaces. If either are damaged they
should be replaced with a Lumie approved product.
To power down or reset the unit, remove the mains power adaptor from the wall socket.
Caution – do not attempt to service any part of the unit.
The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by Lumie or one of our
authorised distributors.
Electromagnetic compatibility
Electrostatic discharge may affect the working of Sunrise Alarm. If this occurs, simply switch
off for several seconds and the unit will re-set.
Disposal
At the end of its life, do not throw the unit out with normal domestic waste.
Please take it to an official recycling point to be disposed of responsibly.

Getting started
The ideal place for Sunrise Alarm is on a bedside table near a mains
socket.
Connect the mains power adaptor to the socket on the back of the

unit.
Plug into a mains power supply.
•
Set the current time when the display flashes. If it stops flashing, press
T on the back panel.
The hours will flash.
Use - or + to set the hours.
•
Press T on the back panel to confirm and continue.
•
The minutes will flash.
Use - or + to set the minutes.
•
Press T on the back panel to confirm and continue.
•
Use - or + to choose 24H or 12H.
•
Press T on the back panel to confirm and exit to the current time.
•
To change the current time
Press T on the back panel and set the time as above.

Setting the alarm time
Press and hold A.

Set the alarm time when the display flashes:

Changing the wake sound
Sunrise Alarm is preset to wake sound 6, Beep:
Press O on the back panel.

The saved wake sound will play.
Use - or + to set a wake sound for the end of the sunrise:

1 Blackbird, 2 Osprey, 3 Goats, 4 Tree frogs, 5 Kitten purring, 6 Beep.
Press O to confirm and exit to the current time; otherwise the wake
•
sound is saved after 4 seconds.
To change the wake sound volume
Sunrise Alarm wake sound volume is preset to 5.
Press < or > on the back panel.
•
The saved volume will show on the display.
Use < or > to set the volume: 00 for off/no wake sound or a level
•
from 01 to 10.
The volume is saved after 4 seconds.

Using the sunrise alarm
The sunrise starts 30 minutes before your alarm time, gradually
increasing to reach full brightness at your alarm time.
You need to activate the alarm before you go to sleep.
To activate the sunrise alarm
•
Press A.
The display confirms the alarm time and shows B to confirm the alarm
is activated; for example:
To deactivate the sunrise alarm
Press A.

B disappears from the display.
To snooze
Press Z.
•
The sunrise and wake sound will repeat after 5 minutes.
To turn off the sunrise and/or alarm sound
Press A.
•
B disappears from the display.

Using the fading sunset
When you’re ready to sleep, a fading sunset can help you to relax and
unwind.
To start the sunset
•
Press S.
The display shows Y to confirm the sunset is started:
The sunrise starts with white light at full brightness and gradually fades
to off over 30 minutes.
To stop the sunset
Press S.
•
Y disappears from the display.
Tip: Press and hold L to stop the sunset and turn off the light.

Bedside light
Sunrise Alarm can be used as a dimmable or coloured bedside light.
•
Press L to turn on white light.
•
Use + or - to adjust the light level.
•
Press L again to change to coloured light.
The colour will start to change after 4 seconds: green, red, blue, pink,
orange, light blue.
Use + or - to choose single colour light.
•
Press L a third time to turn off the light.
•
Display brightness
Press D on the back panel.
•
Press D again to choose display brightness: high, low or off.
•
Power failure back-up
Sunrise Alarm can be fitted with batteries to provide a back-up power
source if the electrical power supply fails.
•
Insert 3 x AAA batteries into the compartment in the base of the unit.
All settings will be saved. To conserve power, only the essential features
will be available:
Clock.
•
Alarm with wake sound alarm only, no sunrise.
•
None of the lighting features are available.
•
•
The display turns off after 15 seconds. Press any button to turn on.

Maintenance
•
Clean only with a dry or lightly moistened cloth.
•
Replacement mains power adaptors are available from Lumie.
To restore the default factory settings
•
Turn off at the mains power supply.
•
Wait 5 seconds then turn the power back on.
LED lifetime
The LEDs in this product have a typical life of 30,000 hours. Although
it’s unlikely, it’s possible for individual LEDs to fail. This will make only
a negligible difference to light output and you can continue to use the
product.
Warranty
This unit is covered under warranty against any manufacturing defect for
3 years from the date of purchase. This is in addition to your statutory
rights. If possible, use the original packaging (including internal pieces)
to return your Sunrise Alarm for service. If the unit is received damaged,
through misuse or accidental damage, then we may have to charge
to repair it; we will contact you first. Please contact Lumie for further
advice.

Utilisez uniquement l'adaptateur d'alimentation secteur fourni.
Maintenez le bloc d'alimentation et le câble à l'écart des surfaces chauffées. Si l'un d'eux
est endommagé, ils doivent être remplacés par un produit approuvé par Lumie.
Pour mettre l'appareil hors tension ou le réinitialiser, retirez l'adaptateur d'alimentation
secteur de la prise murale.
N'essayez pas d'intervenir sur n'importe quelle pièce de l'appareil.
La source lumineuse de ce luminaire ne doit être remplacée que par Lumie ou l'un de nos
distributeurs
Compatibilité électromagnétique
Toute décharge électrostatique risque d'affecter le fonctionnement du Sunrise Alarm. Le cas
échéant, il suffit de l'éteindre durant plusieurs secondes et l'appareil sera réinitialisé.
Élimination
À la fin de la durée de vie de l'appareil, ne le jetez pas avec les ordures ménagères
habituelles. Veuillez l'amener à un point de recyclage officiel afin de l'éliminer de
manière responsable.

Une table de chevet près d’une prise de courant secteur est l’endroit
idéal pour le Sunrise Alarm.
Connectez l’adaptateur d’alimentation secteur à la prise au dos du

Branchez sur l’alimentation secteur.

Réglez l’heure lorsque l’affichage clignote. S’il s’arrête de clignoter,
appuyez sur la touche T sur le panneau arrière.
Les heures clignoteront.
Utilisez les touches - ou + pour régler les heures.

Appuyez sur la touche T sur le panneau arrière pour confirmer et
•
continuer.
Les minutes clignoteront.
Utilisez les touches - ou + pour régler les minutes.
•
Appuyez sur la touche T pour confirmer et continuer.
•
Utilisez les touches - ou + pour sélectionner 24H ou 12H.
•
Appuyez sur la touche T pour confirmer et quitter l’heure actuelle.

Pour changer l’heure actuelle
Appuyez sur la touche T sur le panneau arrière et réglez l’heure

La mélodie de réveil enregistrée est alors déclenchée.
Utilisez les touches - ou + pour sélectionner la mélodie de réveil

de votre choix qui sera diffusée à la fin du crépuscule :

Appuyez sur O pour confirmer et revenir à l’heure actuelle ou la

mélodie de réveil est enregistrée au bout de 4 secondes.
Pour changer le volume de la mélodie de réveil
Le volume de la mélodie de réveil du Sunrise Alarm est préréglé sur 5.
Appuyez sur la touche < ou sur la touche > sur le panneau arrière.
•
Le volume enregistré apparaîtra à l’affichage.
Utilisez la touche < ou sur la touche > pour régler le volume : 00 pour
•
désactivé/aucune mélodie de réveil ou un niveau sonore entre 01 et 10.
Le volume est enregistré au bout de 4 secondes.
