DESCRIPTION

Louroe Model IF-2, IF-4 and IF-8 are audio interface adapters
designed for connecting up to two (IF-2), four (IF-4) or eight (IF-8)
Louroe microphones to a DVR or other recording devices that have
multiple audio inputs. The units contain RCA outputs (per
microphone) for accommodating either an RCA input or a 3.5mm (mini
jack) input connection to a DVR, IP network camera, video server, etc.
using the connector cables supplied. In addition, the IF-2, IF-4 and
IF-8 receive wiring from the Louroe microphones, provide phantom
power and contain a variable gain adjust per output to prevent the
overdriving of the DVR, etc. All Louroemicrophones are compatible
with these three units.

AUDIO TEST SWITCH

It’s function is to indicate the presence of audio and to assure that the
IF-2/IF-4/IF-8 is driving the audio signals into the input of the audio
receiving device. The audio indicator LED illuminates when audio is
present.

APPLICATION

As part of a Louroe audio system, the IF-2, IF-4 and IF-8 are used for
connecting microphones to:

Video Servers

PC soundcards modules

Other audio receiving devices
that accept line level input.

WIRING REQUIREMENTS

Between Louroe Microphone and IF-2 / IF-4 / IF-8:
2 Conductor Shielded cable, 22 gauge with a 24 gauge drain wire.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

When this equipment is used as part of an audio
monitoring system, the law requires that the
public be given notice of AUDIO MONITORING
ON THE PREMISES. A decal notice is included
with each microphone shipped.

WARRANTY

LOUROE ELECTRONICS® warrants that at the time of shipment products manufactured
by LOUROE ELECTRONICS to be free of defects in material and workmanship. Should a
defect appear within one year (12 months) from date of shipment, LOUROE
ELECTRONICS will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective equipment. This
equipment shall not be accepted for repair or return without prior notification by LOUROE
ELECTRONICS .

This warranty does not extend to any Louroe product that has been subjected to improper
or incorrect installation, misuse, accident, or in violation of installation instructions provided
by LOUROE ELECTRONICS.

Returned shipments to LOUROE ELECTRONICS shall be at customer’s expense.
LOUROE ELECTRONICS will return the equipment prepaid via best way.
