Overview
Before you begin, you should have a powerline network already set up, with your
router connected to a Powerline Adapter. The following instructions describe how to
connect the Powerline AV Network Adapter (model number: PLE300) to a computer
or other network device.

NOTE: Because the Adapter sends data over the power lines of your
home, Linksys recommends that you plug the Adapter directly into an
electrical outlet. The Adapter has its own power filter to help protect
against surges.
