Used on Fire Door Operators

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

INSTALLING NEW VOICE BOARD

1. Mount the new voice board to the electrical box using the (4) #4-40 x 3/8” pan head screws supplied. (Refer to figure one for board placement)

2. Connect the Black wire from the voice board to #15 on the J2 terminal Block.

3. Connect the Red wire from the voice board to #19 on the J2 terminal Block

4. Connect the Yellow wire from the voice board to #1 on the TB1 terminal Block

5. Connect the Purple wire from the voice board to

#2 on the TB1 terminal Block.

INSTALLING NEW SPEAKER

1. Choose a desirable position for the speaker and mount using the hardware supplied.

2. Connect one wire from the speaker to #1 on the

TB1 terminal block and the other wire to #2 on the TB1 terminal block.

TO AVOID SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH FROM ELECTROCUTION, DISCONNECT ELECTRIC POWER TO OPERATOR BEFORE INSTALLING.

WARNING

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

This modification is available to model FDO Fire Door Operators door operators.

FUNCTIONS:

Provides a Voice Board and Strobe to the standard operator.

INSTALLING NEW STROBE

1. Choose a desirable position for the strobe and mount using the hardware supplied.

2. Connect the Red wire from the strobe to #17 on the J2 terminal Block.

3. Connect the Black wire from the strobe to #15 on the J2 terminal Block.

NOTE: Refer to the wiring diagram on page two for help with wiring. Longer wires may be necessary to wire the speaker and the strobe to the operator.
