To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from
electrocution, disconnect electric power to operator
BEFORE installing.
ALL electrical connections MUST be made by a qualified
individual.
APPLICATION
This wiring modification is available for models CT, CGT,
CJ, CH, CGH, standard door operators and modification
65-9206 with Logic 3 (L3) control.
NOTE: Not available with Hazardous Area or Variable Speed
Modifications.
FUNCTIONS
Each switch, or pole, provides a means to control auxiliary
lights, heaters or other equipment. The switch can be used
to turn on or off such equipment when the door is fully
opened, fully closed or during travel.
COMPONENT MOUNTING
1. Disconnect power to operator.
2. Locate the new auxiliary limit switch bracket assembly
with the limit switches attached. Loose end of limit arm
on switch should face the side of electrical box
(Figure 2).
3. Fasten the limit switch bracket to the component
mounting plate at the bottom of the electrical box
using the two #8-32 x 1/4" pan head screws provided
(Figure 2).
4. Connect ends of wire leads to desired field wiring with
wire nuts to complete installation (Figure 1).
5. Reconnect power to operator.
