GETTING STARTED

Installing the batteries

1. Remove the cover under the unit.

2. Insert the batteries, taking care to follow their polarity directions.

3. Replace the cover.

Keys function in different mode

MODE key :  To change time, alarm, date, low temperature/

 humidity and high temperature/ humidity mode

o

C / oF (SET) key :  To toggle Celsius and Fahrenheit. Hold key more

 than 2 seconds will enter setting mode

MAX / MIN (ADJUST) key :  To check maximum and minimum temperature/
 humidity memories. To adjust the value or to
 change the option in different setting mode.

SNOOZE key:  To activate the snooze function when alarm is
 announcing.

SETTING THE CLOCK

1. When adjusting for the first time, press MODE key to enter Time Mode.

2. Press SET key and hold 2 seconds to enter time setting mode.

3. Press ADJUST key to select 12 or 24 hour format

4. Press SET key to confirm.

5. Press ADJUST key to increment minute.

6. Press SET key to confirm.

7. Press ADJUST key to increment hour.

8. Press SET key to confirm.

Please note: Should you wish to change the time without reinitialising the unit, keep the
SET key pressed for more than 2 seconds and then follow the instructions given above.

SETTING THE DATE

1. Press twice on the MODE key to enter Date Mode.

2. Press SET key and hold 2 seconds to enter date setting mode: the date will blink.

3. Press ADJUST key to increment year.

4. Press SET key to confirm: the day will blink.

5. Press ADJUST key to increment date.

6. Press SET key to confirm: the month will blink.

7. Press ADJUST key to increment month.

8. Press SET key to confirm: the complete date will show.
To check the settings, press twice on the MODE key: the previously adjusted time will
show for a few seconds, and then display will go back to show the current time.

SETTING THE ALARM FUNCTION

There are 2 different types of alarm. The daily alarm is an alarm which will sound everyday
at the same time and the chime will sound every hour to indicate that an hour has expired.

1. Press MODE key to enter Alarm Mode.

2. Press SET key and hold 2 seconds to enter time setting mode: the hourly alarm will blink.

3. Press ADJUST key to select the different alarms:

• turn on daily alarm only : (((•))).

• turn on chime only: .

• turn on daily alarm and chime : (((•))) + .

• turning off daily alarm and chime: no icon appears on the screen.

4. Press SET key to confirm: the minutes will blink.

5. Press ADJUST key to increment minute.

6. Press SET key to confirm: the hours will blink.

7. Press ADJUST key to increment hour.

8. Press SET key to confirm: the hours will blink.
To check the settings, press once on the MODE key: the previously adjusted time will
show for a few seconds, and then display will go back to show the current time.

Low Temperature/Humidity Alarm Setting Mode

1. Press 3 times on the MODE key to enter Low Temperature/Humidity Alarm Mode.

2. Press SET key and hold 2 seconds to enter Low Temperature/Humidity Alarm setting
mode.

3. Press ADJUST key to toggle low temperature alarm on/off, (the temperature scale
ranges from -50°C to +69°C).

4. Press SET key to confirm.

5. Press ADJUST key to increment low temperature value if low temperature alarm is on.

6. Press SET key to confirm.

7. The sign “Low” will show on the temperature screen display.

8. Press ADJUST key to toggle low humidity alarm on/off, (the humidity rate ranges from
20 to 89%).

9. Press SET key to confirm.

10. Press ADJUST key to increment low humidity value if low humidity alarm is on.

11. Press SET key to confirm.

12. The sign “Low” will show on the humidity rate screen display.

If temperature/humidity is lower than the setting value, a 5 seconds alert is announcing
after each sampling time.

Stopping the Low Temperature / Humidity alarm

To momentarily stop the activated alarm, press on SNOOZE.

To completely cancel the Low Temperature alarm:

1. Press 3 times on MODE to access the Low Temperature / Humidity alarm mode.

2. Press the SET key and hold it down for 2 seconds.

3. Press the ADJUST key until “LOW” disappear from the temperature screen display.

4. Press the SET key to confirm.

To completely cancel the Low Humidity alarm:

5. Press the ADJUST key until “LOW” disappear from the humidity rate screen display.

6. Press the SET key to confirm.

High Temperature/Humidity Alarm Setting Mode

1. Press 4 times on the MODE key to enter High Temperature/Humidity Alarm Mode.

2. Press SET key and hold 2 seconds to enter High Temperature/Humidity Alarm setting
mode.

3. Press ADJUST key to toggle high temperature alarm on/off.

4. Press SET key to confirm.

5. Press ADJUST key to increment high temperature value if high temperature alarm is on.

6. Press SET key to confirm.

7. The sign “High” will show on the temperature screen display.

8. Press ADJUST key to toggle high humidity alarm on/off.

9. Press SET key to confirm.

10. Press ADJUST key to increment high humidity value if high humidity alarm is on.

11. Press SET key to confirm.

12. The sign “High” will show on the humidity rate screen display.

If temperature/humidity is higher than the setting value, a 5 seconds alert is announcing
after each sampling time.

Stopping the High Temperature / Humidity alarm

To completely cancel the High Temperature alarm:

1. Press 4 times on MODE to access the High Temperature / Humidity alarm mode.

2. Press the SET key and hold it down for 2 seconds.

3. Press the ADJUST key until “HIGH” disappear from the temperature screen display.

4. Press the SET key to confirm.
To completely cancel the High Humidity alarm:

1. Press the ADJUST key until “HIGH” disappear from the humidity rate screen display.

2. Press the SET key to confirm.

In / Out Door Temperature Mode

1. Press 5 times on the MODE key to enter In / Out door Temperature Mode.

2. Press ADJUST key to choose between the In / Out door temperature and the
corresponding “IN” or “OUT” icon will blink.

3. Press MODE key to confirm and back to normal time mode.

Snooze Function

When the daily alarm is activated and is reached, the daily alarm icon will flash, the buzzer
will announce 1 minute. Within this minute, press SNOOZE key to activate snooze
function and pause the alarm announcing. After that the snooze icon will turn on and
flashing. The alarm will announce again after 5 minutes.
To completely cancel the alarm, press on MODE.

Current weather indicator

SUNNY CLOUDLY RAINY

The SUNNY, CLOUDLY and RAINY icons indicate what the more likely current weather
the condition.
Lexibook does not pretend in any way to accurately predict the weather
forecast of the environment.

Moon Phase Indicator

Four icons to indicate the moon phase of new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter.
