Preparing your device

Use a microSD card (sold separately) for extra storage. *To access cellular networks with your device (model number Lenovo TB-7504X), insert a Nano-SIM card provided by your carrier into the slot as shown below.

Step 1. Open the card slot cover. Step 2. Insert the *Nano-SIM and microSD cards as shown. Step 3. Replace the card slot cover.

Only Nano-SIM cards work with your device. 4G/3G/2G services of SIM cards require carrier support. Your phone’s dual-card slot supports 4G/3G/2G services. When two cards are inserted, the system supports only one card’s registered 4G/3G service. Your phone supports a smart card switching function. If you need to change the card slot for the registered 4G/3G service, please go to Settings > SIM cards.

Do not insert or remove the Nano-SIM card while your device is powered on. Doing so may cause permanent damage to your Nano-SIM card or device.

Using your device for the ﬁrst time

You might need to charge the battery before using your device. Insert the charger into the charging port as shown below. Connect your device to a power outlet using the cable and USB power adapter provided.

seconds, then tap Power o. Restart: Press and hold the Power button for about

10 seconds.

Important safety and handling information

Plastic bag notice

Danger: Plastic bags can be dangerous. Keep plastic bags away from babies

and children to avoid danger of suocation.

Built-in rechargeable battery notice

Danger: Do not attempt to replace the internal rechargeable lithium ion

battery. Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Contact Lenovo Support for factory replacement.

Caution about high volume usage

Warning: Exposure to loud noise from any source for extended periods of

time may aect your hearing. The louder the sound, the less time is required before your hearing could be aected. To protect your hearing:

• Limit the amount of time you use headsets or headphones at high volume.

• Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings.

• Turn the volume down if you can’t hear people speaking near you.

If you experience hearing discomfort, including the sensation of pressure or fullness in your ears, ringing in your ears or mued speech, you should stop listening to the device through your headset or headphones and have your hearing checked.

To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.

Safety instructions for parents and adult supervisors

Your mobile device is not a toy. Not recommended for children under 3 years of age to play with it. As with all electrical products, precautions should be observed during handling and using of electrical products to reduce the risk of electric shock. If parents choose to allow children 3 or older to use the device, they should caution his or her child about the potential hazard while using and handling the mobile device. Parental should inspect the mobile device (including the ac power adapter and the small part, as applicable) periodically for damage. Routinely check this mobile device to ensure that the device is working properly and is safe for children to use.

YOUR MOBILE DEVICE MEETS INTERNATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR EXPOSURE TO RADIO WAVES. Your mobile device is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio waves (radio frequency electromagnetic ﬁelds) recommended by international guidelines. The guidelines were developed by an independent scientiﬁc organization (ICNIRP) and include a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health. The radio wave exposure guidelines use a unit of measurement known as the Speciﬁc Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit for mobile devices is 2 W/kg. Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions with the device transmitting at its highest certiﬁed power level in all tested frequency bands. The highest SAR values under the ICNIRP guidelines for your device model are listed below:

During use, the actual SAR values for your device are usually well below the values stated. Vorbereiten Ihres Gerätes

Verwenden Sie für mehr Speicherplatz eine microSD-Karte (separat erhältlich). *Um mit Ihrem Gerät auf Mobilfunknetze zugreifen zu können (Modellnummer Lenovo TB-7504X), setzen Sie eine von Ihrem Anbieter bereitgestellte Nano-SIM-Karte in den Steckplatz ein, wie oben angezeigt.

Schritt1. Önen Sie die Abdeckung des Kartensteckplatzes. Schritt2. Setzen Sie die *Nano-SIM- und microSD-Karten ein wie hier gezeigt. Schritt3. Bringen Sie die Abdeckung des Kartenschlitzes wieder an.

Sie können nur Nano-SIM-Karten in Ihr Gerät einsetzen. 4G/3G/2G-Services von SIM-Karten erfordern die Unterstützung des Anbieters. Der Doppelkartensteckplatz Ihres Telefons unterstützt 4G/3G/2G-Services. Wenn zwei Karten eingelegt werden, unterstützt das System nur den registrierten 4G/3G-Service von einer Karte. Ihr Telefon unterstützt eine Smart-Karten-Wechselfunktion. Wenn Sie den Kartensteckplatz für den registrierten 4G/3G-Service wechseln möchten, gehen Sie zu Einstellungen > SIM-Karten.

Das Einsetzen oder Entfernen der Nano-SIM-Karte darf nicht bei eingeschaltetem Gerät erfolgen. Dies kann Ihre Nano-SIM-Karte oder das Gerät dauerhaft beschädigen.

Erstmaliger Gebrauch des Geräts

Préparer votre appareil

Utilisez une carte microSD (vendue séparément) pour bénéﬁcier d'un stockage supplémentaire. *Pour accéder aux réseaux cellulaires avec votre appareil (modèle LenovoTB-7504X), insérez une carte nano-SIM fournie par votre opérateur dans le logement comme indiqué ci-dessous.

Seules des cartes nanoSIM fonctionnent avec votre appareil. Les services 4G/3G/2G des cartes SIM nécessitent une prise en charge par l'opérateur. Le logement double SIM de votre téléphone prend en charge les services 4G/3G/2G. Lorsque deux cartes sont insérées, le système prend uniquement en charge les services 4G/3G souscrits d'une seule des cartes. Votre téléphone prend en charge la fonctionnalité de basculement intelligent de cartes. Si vous avez besoin de changer une carte SIM de son logement pour accéder aux services 4G/3G souscrits, veuillez accéder à Paramètres> Cartes SIM.

Ne pas insérer ou retirer la carte nano-SIM lorsque l'appareil est allumé. Vous risquez d'endommager déﬁnitivement la carte nanoSIM ou votre appareil.

Mise en garde contre une utilisation à un volume élevé

Avertissement: l'exposition à un volume sonore élevé, durant une période

prolongée, peu importe la source, peut aecter votre audition. Plus le volume sonore est élevé, plus vite votre audition peut être aectée. Aﬁn de protéger votre audition:

• Limitez le temps d'utilisation de votre casque ou de vos écouteurs à un volume élevé.

• Évitez d'augmenter le volume afin de masquer le bruit environnant.

• Baissez le volume si vous ne pouvez pas entendre les personnes autour

devous.

Si vous ressentez une gêne auditive ou un bourdonnement dans les oreilles, ycompris une sensation de pression ou de congestion, ou que vous entendez des paroles étouées, vous devriez arrêter d'écouter l'appareil à l'aide de votre casque ou de vos écouteurs, et faire contrôler votre audition.

Pour éviter toute lésion auditive, n'utilisez pas les écouteurs ou le casque d'écoute à des volumes sonores élevés pendant de longues périodes.
