The following parts of the guide feed regist. unit were abolished or changed. (No functional problem is expected.)
Accordingly, some attention is required when replacing the parts. Please refer to [Field Measures] below.
Content of Changes
- Disused parts: Actuator (No.9), spring (No.10), sensor holder (No.11) and sensor (No.12).
- Changed parts: Wires (No.7, No.8) and middle feed plate (No.14) * For more details, please refer to the pages 2
and 3.

KDC’s Classification Entire Stock Rework In-Field modification at next visit
In-Field modification by case No modification necessary
Field Measure:
No particular problem is expected if the old wires (No.7, No.8) are applied in the new unit (No.1 to No.6) or
the new wires (No.7, No.8) in the old unit (No.1 to No.6).
When replacing the regist. guide set (No.13) with the new one in the machine with the corrective measures for
the paper crease at the regist. guide unit (Please refer to the service bulletin SB-2LC-0013-B213.), please cut
the switching part (X) of the actuator using a tool such as nippers.
Serial Nos. of the Affected Machines:
- Change of the parts (No.7 to No.12) in the guide feed regist. unit: From the July 2012* production
- Change of the middle feed plate shape: Planned from the September 2012* production
