Sliding partSilicon oil applied
1) Press roller repeatedly moves
(in the direction X in the figure to the left).
(Bearing and bush are also driven to move.)
2) Then, bush might be shifted and abnormal
squeaking noise might be generated.
Silicon oil is applied between bush and press
roller (where marked with red dotted lines).
*Silicon oil has been already applied between
bush and bearing.

Some abnormal noise (squeaking noise) might be generated with the bush being contacting with the press roller
when the fuser unit press roller moves to sides (as marked X in the figure below). Therefore, the following change
was made.
Content of Changes
Silicon oil is now applied between the press roller and the bush in order to prevent the abnormal noise.
