Measures against the “Cover Open” Message Failure
(Improvement of the Margin for the Front Cover Safety Switch
Detection)

Topic

“The cover is open. Close the front cover” message might not disappear even after the front cover was closed.
Therefore, the following changes were made in order to improve the margin for the front cover safety switch
detection.

Content of Changes

The shape of the HOLDER SW was changed to increase the margin for the switch pusher rod depth.

1. The length of the lever from the front cover part to the leading edge of the lever was extended by 1 mm.

2. The shape of the leading edge of the lever was changed.
The shape was changed from the round shape to flattened one to minimize the variation of the push rod dept at
the leading edge of the lever during the up-and-down motion of the lever.
