Increase of the Developer Unit Pushing Depth (New Service
Part)

Topic

The change of the lever and the spring was informed as the measures against the image dropout on the drive side
by the service bulletin SB-KZ-0002-B163. This time, the following change was made for the developer units in the
field to which the measures before was not implemented.

Content of Changes

The CAP LEVER for the field measures (No.1) was registered as service part.
Please fit it to the Cyan and the Magenta developer unit lever.

The CAP LEVER (No.1) was added
since the Cyan and the Magenta
developer unit levers cannot be
pushed in by the retainers
depending on the position of the
developer units and the retainers.

Insert the CAP LEVER (No.1) in the developer unit
lever slit and fit it to the top of the developer unit lever.

Extended by 1 mm

to the developer unit with the measures
(unit with 1 as the last digit of the part
number).
(The developer unit lever of the unit
with the measures is longer by 1 mm
and the cap does not reach the top of
the lever so that it cannot be fitted.
If attempt to forcibly fit it, the cap may
be broken as shown on the left.)

Fit it to the top of the
developer unit lever
(clicks when it fits).
