Topic
The conveying base was changed as follows in order to improve paper conveying ability.
This change is also effective for clearing the J420x jam (Fuser eject sensor stay jam)*.
*Several cases at KDJ have been reported, and it happened with the paper type 65g/m2.However, this jam
can be solved by adjusting U051 (Paper Loop Amount). For more details, please refer to [Field measures]
below.
Content of Changes
1) The contacts of the front and rear levers and of the conveying base are thickened by 0.5mm so that the
conveying base will be pushed toward the main unit side.
2) The height of the ribs at the duplex conveying part on the conveying base was increased.
3) The shape of the pre-registration guide was changed to emboss.
