Because the commonly used spansion ash memory has become difcult to obtain, we
changed the common type to numonyx ash memory.
The system rmware has been upgraded to support the numonyx ash memory.
Please note that the rmware is backward compatible with older ash memory.

The panel menu additional tool has been added, to allow 3d party vendors to develop
software to customize the operation panel menu.

When the default cassette is set to MP tray the following may occur:

1. The indication of paper empty for the MP tray is switched OFF.

2. The “Add paper warning” is indicated, when the standard paper cassette and
multi purpose tray are empty.

Solution

Please use one of the following methods:

1. Operation panel:
Device Common Error Handling Set the MP Tray Empty setting to “OFF”

2. Command center:
Basic Device Defaults Set the MP Tray Empty setting to “OFF”

3. Prescribe command:
!R!MPTE 0;EXIT;(MPTE 1;On)
