Support for the FMU2.0 (File Management Utility) has been added.
The Start key may be disabled, when the machine indicates the network start up message
[Please wait. Network starting] at the Operation panel, while the machine waits until
the network is stable.
The MP tray size and media type can now be set from the Paper selection display after
setting out-put to the MP tray. Previously this could only set from the System menu.
The Video memory may not be enough, when scanning originals with a poor
SRLE compression rate. Therefore the option to increase the Video memory has been
added. Please note that conventional memory allocation is also available.

The Scan Page Priority is selected as conventional behavior after upgrading the
Firmware. The setting should be changed after restarting the system.

The SMTP authentication error may occur, when an E-mail is sent, without setting the
authentication to SMTP authentication server.
When this error code is displayed at the Command center , the code may not match with
the error code displayed at the Operation panel.

Operation panel: Send Error 3101
New condition: Command Center Error 0x8009 has been changed to Send Error 3101
The message “Press [Resume All Print Jobs]” may appear at the upper part of the main
Copy screen, when pressing the [Pause All Print job] key at the status display. The
above mentioned message has been changed, to indicate where to press the key in order
to resume the print jobs.
New message: “Press [Resume All Print Jobs] in the Status display”
Support for the Catalan Optional language has been added.
The machine has been congured to indicate an error during Fax out-put, if all the paper
cassette sizes have been set manually. Therefore the Paper Setup has been removed
from the Quick Setup Wizard. (Unnecessary Paper cassette paper size setting has
been disabled) This setting is still available from the System menu.

A communication error may appear, when conducting remote diagnostics (Fax), during
deep sleep mode while the inbound ringer is set to once.
Phenomenon
Error code 8990 (Document nisher communication error) may occur.
Cause
The attachment is tted to the bridge unit. Both are attached to the machine when
installing the DF. The bridge unit may be attached without the attachment. Under this
condition the above mentioned phenomenon may occur.
Solution
Therefore the explanation with the illustration has been added to the Operation panel.
To improve the start-up time of the machine, the following change has been made:
The drum refresh control is disabled 60 minutes after the last print-out (The regular drum
refresh is disabled, if the timing after the last print-out is 60 minutes or less at power-up or
sleep mode recovery.)
The low temperature main charge adjustment has been disabled to improve the
start-up timing in the case of low temperature.
[Set Low Temp] has been added to Maintenance mode U100 [Main HV Output] to
switch the Main charge adjustment at low temperature ON and OFF (Default is OFF).
Please enable the low temperature main charge adjustment, if image failure such as
grey back ground on the print-out occurs.
