injuryordeath.
•Checkthevehicleforproperlocationofallvehiclesafetyandoperationdecalsandmakesuretheyare

•Whenservicingthevehiclewithpartofthevehicleonjackstands,donotoperatetheenginewiththe
Forward/ReversehandleineithertheFORWARDorREVERSEposition.Theall-wheeldrivesystemwill
engageanywheel(s),frontorrear,withtraction.

UsethePREHEATfeatureifthetemperaturefallsbelow–5°C(23°F).DonotholdthekeyinthePREHEATposition
longerthan20seconds.T opreheattheglowplugsincoldweather,turnthekeytothePREHEATposition,andholdit
therefor10-15seconds.ThenturnthekeytotheST ARTposition,andholditthereuntiltheenginestarts.Iftheengine
doesnotstartafter10-15seconds,turnthekeytotheOFFpositionandrepeattheprocedure.Oncetheenginestarts,
releasethekeyanditwillreturntotheONposition.Theenginewillidleinneutral.Theenginewillcontinuetoidleuntil

FORWARD/REVERSECONTROL
TheForward/Reversehandle(6)islocatedontherightsideoftheinstrumentpanel(Figure7).Thehandlehasthree
distinctpositions:FORWARD(A),NEUTRAL(B),andREVERSE(C).Pushthehandleuptooperatethevehicleinthe
forwarddirection,orpullthehandledowntooperatethevehicleinreverse.Theenginecanbestartedonlywhenthe
handleisintheNEUTRAL(middle)position.TheenginemustbeatidlebeforeshiftingtheForward/Reversehandle.
SeeprecedingWARNINGandCAUTION.
Husqvarnavehiclesoperateatareducedspeedinreverse.Thereversebuzzerwillsoundasawarningwhenthe

ACCELERATORPEDAL
Theacceleratorpedal(1)isthepedalfarthesttotheright(Figure7).
WiththeenginerunningandtheForward/ReversehandleintheFORWARDorREVERSEposition,vehiclespeed
willincreaseastheacceleratorpedalispressed.Whentheacceleratorpedalisreleased,itwillreturntotheoriginal
positionandtheenginewillidle.SeeprecedingWARNINGandCAUTION.
BRAKEPEDAL
Thebrakepedal(2)islocatedtotheimmediateleftoftheacceleratorpedal(Figure7).T osloworstopthevehicle,
pressthebrakepedal.
PARKBRAKE
Theparkbrakepedal(3)islocatedtotheleftofthebrakepedal(Figure7).Toengagetheparkbrake,rstapply
pressuretothebrakepedal,thenrmlypresstheparkbrakepedaluntilitlatchesintoplace.T odisengagethepark
brake,pulltheparkbrakereleasehandle(4)(Figure8).SeefollowingWARNING.

LOWOILWARNINGLIGHT
Thelowoilwarninglight(9)islocatedontheinstrumentpaneljusttotheleftofthesteeringcolumn(Figure7).Ifthe
warninglightcomeson,oilshouldbecheckedandaddedtotheengineasnecessarybeforevehicleusecontinues.
Thevehicleshouldneverbedrivenwhenthelowoilwarninglightremainslit.Ifthewarninglightcomesonandoff,the
vehiclemaybedriven,butoilshouldbeaddedattherstopportunity .Iftheoilleveliscorrectandthewarninglight
