One True HEPA filter and one gasket included
Instructions for Use:
Refer to your air purifier’s owners manual for additional instructions and guidelines.
1. Turn the air purifier off and unplug from the wall outlet.
2. To open, unscrew the locking mechanism, and separate the lid (or endcap for 17000 Series Models) from the base.
3. Remove the filter assembly (pre-filter and HEPA filter) from the internal chamber.
4. Remove the pre-filter from the HEPA filter. Discard the HEPA filter.
5. Remove the new HEPA filter from its package.
6. Refer to the filter fit chart on the reverse side of this instruction sheet to determine: a) The number of HEPA filters needed for your air
purifier
b) If a gasket is needed for your filter assembly.
7. If more than 1 HEPA filter is needed with no gasket required, carefully stack the filters on top of each other so they evenly align and fit together (Fig.1).
8. If the HEPA filter(s) requires a gasket(s), stack and evenly align the filters together with the gasket placed on top of the HEPA filter(s) (Fig.2).
9. Carefully wrap the pre-filter around the new HEPA filter(s) and attach using the fasteners provided with the pre-filter. If your pre-filter is over 3 months old, you should replace with a new prefilter.
10. Place the filter assembly into the internal chamber. If you are using a gasket, make sure the gasket is located closest to the lid (or endcap) of the air purifier.
11. Replace the lid (or endcap) and base, and tighten the locking mechanism. Turn the air purifier to an operable position.
12. Your air purifier is now ready for operation.

When To Replace The HEPA Filter:
The HEPA filter should remain effective for 3 to 5 years, depending upon the environment in which the air purifier is operating. Kaz recommends changing the HEPA filter based upon operating conditions - every 3-5 years for light usage, 2-3 years for normal usage and 1 year for heavy usage.
Use the filter fit chart below to determine how many filters and gaskets you will need to complete the filter assembly for your air purifier model. To select the number of Universal Replacement HEPA filters needed, find the first four digits of your Honeywell
®
enviracaire®model number in the table below, then read across to determine the quantity of filters required. For example, if you have an air purifier 17000, you would need to purchase 2 Universal Replacement HEPA Filters. For directions on how to put your filter assembly together, refer to “Instructions For Use” on the reverse side of this page.
