Neutral mounting kit

Introduction

This bulletin provides instructions for installing Neutral lug kit – TNK400 on all GE Double throw safety switch rated 400A.

WARNING: Hazard of electrical shock or burn. Turn off power before working inside this equipment.

Description

This neutral kit consists of the following parts:

1. One (1) Neutral assembly

2. Two (2) 1/4-20 X 9/16” mounting screws

Mounting Instruction

1. Tighten item 2 (Mounting screws) in to

mounting hole in the enclosure. Ref. Fig 1

2. For bonding, bare wire 1/0 CU/AL is to

be used to connect small lug in neutral assembly to ground kit (Order separately).

Wire range: 2 – 600MCM CU/AL
