Pressing and holding the button shows the condition of the
Li-ion battery. The Li-ion battery (SW9) starts charging once the
AC adapter is plugged in or when the solar panel is in direct sunlight.

PLUGGING IN THE AC ADAPTER
The Rukus XL comes equipped with an AC adapter. Plug the AC adapter into the right socket
labeled DC located under the rubber plug on the side of the Rukus XL. Plug the other end into an
AC socket. With the AC adapter plugged in, the Rukus XL starts charging its Li-ion battery and is
ready to play.

Press and HOLD the ON/OFF Power button for 3 seconds (until you hear the beep).
CHARGING A SMARTPHONE OR OTHER USB DEVICE THROUGH USB PORT
The smartphone or USB device starts charging once it is inserted into the USB port. When the
Rukus XL’s POWER is OFF it can still charge your device. Please be advised that leaving your
device after it has received a full charge from the Rukus XL, if <charge> is still set ‘ON’, it will
continue to drain the Rukus XL’s internal battery.

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Press the volume buttons, , to increase or decrease volume levels or control it on your
Bluetooth® device.
BASS BOOST FUNCTION
Press the button to turn on Bass Boost.
AUX (AUXILIARY)
The button switches between Bluetooth¨ device and AUX-input if there is a signal from
the AUX-In port. The Bluetooth signal takes priority if there is a Bluetooth signal and an audioin signal at the same time. If the audio-in signal is present, the switching function of the ‘AUX’
button is available. The AUX light turns on when auxiliary input is being used.
PLAY/PAUSE
Pressing the button switches from play to pause for the the Bluetooth device, or control it
directly on your device.

FWD/REW,
Pressing these buttons, , selects previous track/next track with a short press; hold down
to scrub forward/reverse or control it directly on your Bluetooth device.

To obtain service for your product, we recommend first contacting an Etón service

for problem determination and trouble-shooting. If further service is required, the
technical staff will instruct how to proceed based on whether the radio is still under
warranty or needs non-warranty service.

WARRANTY – If your product is still in warranty and the Etón service representative determines
that warranty service is needed, a return authorization will be issued and instructions for
shipment to an authorized warranty repair facility. Do not ship your
radio back without obtaining the return authorization number.
NON-WARRANTY – If your product is no longer under warranty and requires service our
technical staff will refer you to the nearest repair facility that will be able to best handle
the repair. For service outside of North America, please refer to the distributor information
included at time of purchase/receipt.

señal de audio al mismo tiempo. Si la señal de entrada de audio está presente, la función de

BRANCHEMENT DE L’ADAPTATEUR SECTEUR
Le Rukus XL est équipé d’un adaptateur secteur. Branchez l’adaptateur secteur dans la prise de
droite marquée DC sous l’obturateur en caoutchouc sur le côté du Rukus XL. Branchez l’autre
extrémité dans une prise secteur. Quand l’adaptateur secteur est branché, le Rukus XL charge sa
batterie Li-ion rechargeable et peut fonctionner.

Appuyez sur la touche pour mettre Bass Boost en marche.
AUX (AUXILIAIRE)
Le bouton bascule de l’appareil Bluetooth à l’entrée AUX si un signal arrive de l’entrée AUXIN. Le signal Bluetooth est prioritaire s’il y a un signal Bluetooth et un signal audio-in en même
temps. Si le signal audio-in est présent, la fonction de commutation de la touche « AUX» est
disponible. Le voyant AUX est allumé lorsque l’entrée auxiliaire est utilisée.
PLAY/PAUSE
Appuyer sur le bouton passe de PLAY à PAUSE pour l’appareil Bluetooth, vous pouvez aussi
le contrôler directement sur votre appareil.

EINSTECKEN DES WECHSELTROMNETZTEILS
Der Rukus XL kommt mit einem Wechselstromnetzteil. Stecken Sie das Wechselstromnetzteil
in die rechte Buchse mit der Bezeichnung DC, die sich unter dem Gummistopfen an der
Seite des Rukus XL befindet. Stecken Sie das andere Ende in die AC-Buchse. Sobald das
Wechselstromnetzteil eingesteckt worden ist, beginnt der Rukus XL, seinen Li-ion Akku
aufzuladen und ist bereit, Musik abzuspielen.

Das Smartphone oder das USB-Gerät beginnt mit dem Aufladen, sobald es mit dem USBAnschluss verbunden worden ist. Wenn der Rukus XL ausgeschalten ist, können Sie Ihr Gerät
trotzdem aufladen. Beachten Sie bitte, dass wenn Ihr Gerät voll aufgeladen ist, Sie es aber
noch nicht entfernt haben, das Gerät den internen Akkus des Rukus XL verwenden wird, wenn
<charge> immer noch auf „ON“ ist.

EINSTELLEN DER LAUTSTÄRKE
Drücken Sie die Lautstärketasten , um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen und verringern oder um Ihr
Bluetooth®-Gerät zu steuern.
BASS BOOST-FUNKTION
Drücken Sie die , um den Bass Boost aufzudrehen.
AUX (AUXILIARY)
Die schaltet zwischen dem Bluetooth®-Gerät und dem AUX-Eingang hin und her, wenn
es ein Signal aus dem AUX-IN-Anschluss gibt. Das Bluetooth-Signal hat Vorrang, wenn es
ein Bluetooth-Signal und gleichzeitig auch ein Audio-In-Signal gibt. Falls das Audio-In-Signal
vorhanden ist, kann auf die Funktion AUX umgeschaltet werden. Das AUX-Licht erleuchtet,
wenn der Auxiliary-Eingang verwendet wird.
ABSPIELEN/PAUSE
Betätigen Sie die vom Abspielen zur Pause für ein Bluetooth-Gerät oder steuern Sie dies
direkt auf dem Gerät.

WARTUNG IHRES PRODUKTS
Um eine Wartung für Ihr Produkt durchführen lassen zu können, empfehlen wir Ihnen zuerst

diese schon abgelaufen ist.

COLLEGARE L’ADATTATORE CA
Il Rukus XL comprende un adattatore CA. Inserite l’adattatore CA nel connettore con la scritta DC
che si trova sotto la presa di gomma su un lato del Rukus XL. Collegate l’altra estremità a una presa
elettrica. Quando collegate l’adattatore CA, il Rukus XL inizia a caricare la batteria a ioni di litio ed è
pronto per essere utilizzato.

CARICARE UNO SMARTPHONE O UN ALTRO DISPOSITIVO USB ATTRAVERSO LA PORTA USB
Lo smartphone o il dispositivo USB inizieranno a caricarsi appena vengono inseriti nella porta USB. Il
Rukus XL è in grado di caricare i dispositivi anche quando è spento. Tenete a mente che se lasciate
il dispositivo collegato dopo che si è caricato completamente, questo continuerà a consumare la
batteria interna del Rukus XL qualora l’impostazione <carica> sia ancora su ‘ON’.

REGOLAZIONE DEL VOLUME
Premete i pulsanti del volume, , per alzare o abbassare il volume. In alternativa potete
regolarlo direttamente sul vostro dispositivo Bluetooth®.
FUNZIONE BASS BOOST
Premete il pulsante per attivare la funzione Bass Boost.
AUX (AUSILIARIO)
Il pulsante consente di passare da un dispositivo Bluetooth¨ all’ingresso AUX, qualora
questo trasmetta un segnale. Se sono presenti sia un segnale Bluetooth che uno audio, il primo
ha la precedenza. Se è presente un segnale audio, diventa possibile selezionarlo tramite il
pulsante ‘AUX’. Quando viene utilizzato l’ingresso ausiliario si accende la spia AUX.
PLAY/PAUSA
Il pulsante consente di utilizzare le funzioni play e pausa del dispositivo Bluetooth, che
potete comunque regolare direttamente sul vostro dispositivo.
