intended to ensure safe and effective use of this
product. Please read this section carefully and
store it in an accessible location.

This may cause fire or electric shock.
Keep the equipment away from fire or

Shut down your equipment immediately if
it produces smoke, a strange odor, or

the equipment and contact your dealer or

Never attempt to repair this product

with wet hands. Doing so may result in
severe shock.
Do not allow foreign matter to fall into the
equipment. Penetration of foreign objects

If water or other liquid spills into this
equipment, unplug the power cord

advice. Continued usage may lead to fire
or shock.
Do not place multiple loads on the power
outlet (wall outlet). Overloading the outlet
may lead to fire.
Be sure that no metallic object comes into
contact with metal parts of the product
while it is connected to the AC outlet.
Otherwise there is a risk of fire or electric
shock.
Always supply power directly from a
standard power outlet.
Handle the power cord with care.
Improper handling may lead to fire or
shock.
Do not modify or attempt to repair the cord.
Do not place any object on top of the
cord.
Avoid excessive bending, twisting, and
pulling of the cord.
Do not place the cord near heating
equipment.
Check that the plug is clean before
plugging it in.
Be sure to push the prongs all the way in.
If the cord becomes damaged, obtain a
replacement from your dealer or a Seiko
Epson service center.
Regularly remove the power plug from the
outlet and clean the base of the prongs
and between the prongs. If you leave the
power plug in the outlet for a long time,
dust may collect on the base of the
prongs, causing a short and fire.
CAUTION:
Charge only with lithium-ion rechargeable
battery type LIP-2500. Other types of
batteries may burst causing injury to
persons and damage. Risk of fire and
electric shock. Dry location use only.

lead, known to the State of California to
cause birth defects or other reporoductive

CAUTION:
Be sure to use the power cord that came
with the product.
Improper usage may lead to equipment
damage, fire, or shock.
Be sure to set this unit on a firm, stable,
horizontal surface. The product may break
or cause injury if it falls.
Do not use in locations subject to high
humidity or dust levels. Excessive humidity
and dust may cause equipment damage,
fire, or shock.
Do not place heavy objects on top of this
product. Never stand or lean on this
product. Equipment may fall or collapse,
causing breakage and possible injury.
To ensure safety, unplug this product prior
to leaving it unused for an extended
period.
Be sure the product is not covered with any
fabric, such as a blanket or tablecloth,
during use. This may cause overheating
inside the product and lead to fire.
Notes on Use
❏ Protect the battery charger from strong
shocks and take care not to drop it.
Otherwise the battery charger may be
damaged.
❏ Protect the battery charger from extreme
temperatures and do not subject it to
drastic temperature fluctuations. Charging
is possible within a range of ambient
temperature between 0 to 40°C (32 to
104°F), but for best results, the temperature
should be between about 10 and 30°C (50 to
86°F).
❏ Keep the battery charger away from AM
receivers or video equipment because it
will disturb AM reception or the screen.
❏ Attach the battery pack firmly to the
battery charger.
❏ During charging, the battery pack will
become warm. This is normal and does not
pose a problem.
❏ The battery pack will gradually discharge
itself also when the product is not used. We
recommend charging immediately before
use, preferably 1 to 2 days before.
❏ After a full charge, it is recommended to
detach the battery pack from the battery
charger within 24 hours.
❏ Never allow the battery charger to hang
from the power cord.
❏ Do not connect the battery charger to a
table tap or extension cord.

❏ Note that the battery charger is not
equipped with an ON/OFF switch. Keep in
mind that you may need to pull the plug
out of the socket in order to cut the power
in the event of a problem with the
connected device.
Notes on Installation and
Storage
❏ Keep the battery charger away from the
following, which may cause damage, fire
or other accidents:
• Direct sunlight
• High temperature and humidity
• Extreme changes in temperature and
humidity
• Heating and cooling equipment
• Heat sources such as heaters and
cooking utensils.
• Volatile materials
• High levels of dust
• Locations that might become wet
• Locations where there might be fire
• Locations where there might be vibration
and impact
❏ Set the battery charger so that its label side
is facing down.
❏ Do not connect the power cord to electrical
outlets close to devices that generate
voltage fluctuations or electrical noise. In
particular, stay clear of devices that use
large electric motors.
Notes on Cleaning
To clean the battery charger, wipe with a dry or
slightly moistened (and firmly wrung out)
cloth. Never clean the battery charger while it
is plugged into the wall outlet.
Do not clean the battery charger with thinner,
benzine, or alcohol.

If the CHARGE LED is lit and does not flash again,
and the CHARGE LED goes off when the charging
time has passed, there is no problem.
Remove the battery pack that was being
charged and then reattach it.
If the CHARGE LED flashes again, replace
the battery pack with an another one.
If the CHARGE LED flashes again, there
might be a problem in the battery charger.
If the CHARGE LED is lit and does not flash again,
and the CHARGE LED goes off when the charging
time has passed, there might be a problem in the
previous battery pack.
Contact your dealer or Seiko Epson service center for advice on a
product that seems to have problems.
1. While pressing the battery pack against the
battery charger, slide the battery pack as
shown below.
2. Push the end of the power cord all the way
into the AC inlet of the battery charger as
shown below. Be sure to use the packaged
power cord.
3. Insert the power plug into the outlet. After
a few seconds, the CHARGE LED (orange)
on the side to which the battery pack is
attached goes on and charging starts.
The CHARGE LED (orange) goes off when
about 90% of the charging has been completed.
If you want to perform 100% charging, keep on
charging for an hour or more after the charging
indicator goes off.

Notes on the CHARGE LED
❏ If you attach a battery pack which has been
completely charged, the CHARGE LED
goes on for a while.
❏ If you charge a battery pack which has
been left uncharged for a long time, the
CHARGE LED may flash for a while.
Notes on Charging Time
❏ Charging time will be 4 hours. This is the
time taken to charge a battery pack that is
completely discharged.
❏ Actual charging time may differ from the
time above, depending on the temperature
and the condition of the battery pack.
Troubleshooting
❏ If the CHARGE LED does not light or
flashes, be sure that a battery pack is
attached firmly. If it is not attached firmly,
charging cannot be done correctly.
❏ If the CHARGE LED keeps flashing, follow
the steps below:
❏ If your printer does not operate correctly
even if a completely charged battery pack
is installed, the battery pack or the battery
charger may be defective. Contact your
dealer or a Seiko Epson service center for
advice.

本製品使用中は、毛布、テーブルクロスなどの布
で覆わないでください。製品内部が過熱し、火災
の原因となります。
取り扱い上のご注意
❏ 本製品に強いショックを与えたり落としたり
しないでください。損傷を受けるおそれがあ
ります。
❏ 異常な温度や温度差の激しい環境で本製品を
使用しないでください。充電は、0 ℃～ 40
℃の環境で可能ですが、10 ℃～ 30 ℃で使
用されることをお勧めします。
❏ 本製品は、AM 受信やビデオの画面を乱しま
す。AM 受信機やビデオ機器から離れたとこ
ろでお使いください。
❏ バッテリーパックは、本製品に確実に取り付
けてください。
❏ 充電の間、バッテリーパックは通常熱くなり
ますが、異常ではありません。
❏ バッテリーパックは、使用していない間も少

万一接続している機器に異常が発生した場
合、ソケットから電源プラグを抜いて電源を
遮断しなければならないことがあります。
❏ 電圧変動や電気音を発する機器の近くのコン
セントに電源ケーブルを接続しないでくださ
い。特に、大型電気モーターを使用する機器
には近付けないでください。
クリーニングに関するご注意
乾いた布、または軽く湿らせて固く絞った布を
使ってください。コンセントに接続しているとき
のクリーニングは絶対におやめください。
シンナー、ベンジン、アルコールは使用しないで
ください。
バッテリーの充電
1. イラストのように、本製品にバッテリーパッ
クを押し付けながら滑らせます。
2. イラストのように、本製品の AC インレット
の先端をしっかりと押し入れます。必ず製品
に同梱の電源ケーブルをお使いください。
3. 電源プラグをコンセントへ差し込みます。数
秒後、バッテリーパック取り付け部分の横に
ある CHARGE LED（オレンジ色）が点灯
し、充電が始まります。
設置時・輸送に関するご注意
❏ ご使用時は以下を避けてください。本製品の
損傷、火災などのおそれがあります。

･ 高温、高湿度
❏ 本製品は、ラベルを貼ってある側が下に向く

トラブルシューティング
❏ CHARGE LED が点灯または点滅しない場合、
バッテリーパックが確実に本製品に取り付け

に取り付けられていないと、充電は正しく行
われません。
❏ CHARGE LED が点滅し続ける場合は、以下の
手順に従ってください。
❏ 充分に充電したバッテリーパックを挿入し
てもプリンターが作動しない場合、バッテ
リーパックまたは本製品に不具合のある可
能性があります。販売店またはサービスセ
ンターにご相談ください。

Achten Sie darauf, dass keine

Nur mit dem EPSON Akku LIP-2500

Schließen Sie das Gerät direkt an eine

Achten Sie vor dem Einstecken darauf,
dass der Stecker sauber ist. Stecken Sie
die Anschlussstifte vollständig in die
Steckdose.
Wenn das Kabel beschädigt wird,
besorgen Sie bei Ihrem Händler oder
einem Seiko Epson Service Center Ersatz.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker regelmäßig aus
der Steckdose und reinigen Sie den Sockel

Gebrauchshinweise

schützen und keinen drastischen

Laden ist in einem
Umgebungstemperaturbereich von 0°C bis
40°C möglich, doch die besten Ergebnisse
werden bei Temperaturen von 10°C bis
30°C erzielt.
❏ Das Ladegerät von AM-Empfängern und
Videogeräten fernhalten, da andernfalls
der AM-Empfang oder Bildschirm gestört

❏ Den Akku fest ins Ladegerät drücken.

24 Stunden nach dem vollständigen

Reinigungshinweise
Zum Reinigen das Ladegerät mit einem
trockenen oder leicht feuchten (und gut
ausgewrungenem) Tuch abreiben. Das
Ladegerät keinesfalls reinigen, während dieses
an eine Wandsteckdose angeschlossen ist.
Das Ladegerät nicht mit Verdünner, Benzin
oder Alkohol reinigen.
Laden der Batterie
1. Verschieben Sie den Akku wie unten
dargestellt, während sie ihn gleichzeitig an
das Ladegerät drücken.
2. Stecken Sie das Ende des Netzkabels wie
unten abgebildet vollständig in den
Wechselstromeingang des Ladegeräts. Nur
das mit dem Produkt gelieferte Netzkabel
verwenden.
3. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die
Steckdose. Nach einigen Sekunden beginnt
die LADE-LED (orange) an der Seite zu
leuchten, an die der Akku angeschlossen
wurde, und der Ladevorgang beginnt.

De stekker nooit met natte handen in het
stopcontact steken of uit het stopcontact
trekken.
Dat kan een ernstige elektrische schok
veroorzaken.
Voorkom dat er voorwerpen in de
apparatuur vallen. Binnendringen van
vreemde voorwerpen kan brand of
elektrische schokken veroorzaken.
Als er water of andere vloeistof in deze
apparatuur wordt gemorst, moet u de
stekker onmiddellijk uit het stopcontact
trekken en voor nader advies contact
opnemen met de leverancier of een Seiko
Epson servicecentrum. Verder gebruik kan
tot brand of elektrische schokken leiden.
Niet meerdere apparaten aansluiten op
het stopcontact. Overbelasting van het
stopcontact kan brand veroorzaken.
Pas op dat metalen voorwerpen geen
contact maken met de metalen
onderdelen van het product wanneer de
stekker in het stopcontact is gestoken. Dat
kan brand of elektrische schokken
veroorzaken.
Uitsluitend te gebruiken met Epson-batterij
LIP-2500. Anders kunnen er brand of
elektrische schokken ontstaan.
De voeding dient altijd direct vanaf een
standaard stopcontact te geschieden.
Hanteer het snoer voorzichtig.
Onvoorzichtig gebruik kan tot brand of
elektrische schokken leiden.
Niet proberen om het snoer te wijzigen of
te repareren.
Geen voorwerpen bovenop het snoer
plaatsen.
Overmatig buigen, draaien of trekken
aan het snoer vermijden.
Het snoer niet in de buurt van
verwarmingsapparatuur leggen.
Controleer of de stekker schoon is voordat
u hem in het stopcontact steekt.
Druk de tanden van de stekker helemaal
in het stopcontact.
Als het snoer beschadigd raakt, moet u
een nieuwe snoer aanschaffen van de
leverancier of een Seiko Epson
servicecentrum.
Trek de stekker regelmatig uit het
stopcontact en maak de onderkant van
de tanden en de ruimte tussen de tanden
goed schoon. Als u de stekker lang in het
stopcontact laat zitten, kan er zich aan de
voet van de tanden stof ophopen, wat
kortsluiting en brand zal veroorzaken.

LET OP:
Gebruik het snoer waarmee het product
geleverd wordt.
Onjuist gebruik kan tot machineschade,
brand of elektrische schokken leiden.
Plaats deze apparatuur op een stevig,
stabiel, horizontaal oppervlak. Het product
kan beschadigd raken of ongelukken
veroorzaken als het valt.
Niet gebruiken op plaatsen met een hoge
vochtigheidsgraad of veel stof. Overmatig
vocht en stof kunnen apparatuurschade,
brand of elektrische schokken
veroorzaken.
Geen zware voorwerpen bovenop dit
product plaatsen. Nooit op dit product
leunen of staan. De apparatuur kan vallen
of in elkaar klappen, wat schade en letsel
kan veroorzaken.
Trek voor alle veiligheid de stekker van dit
product uit het stopcontact wanneer het
langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt.
Zorg dat het product tijdens gebruik niet
wordt afgedekt door een weefsel zoals
een deken of tafellaken. Dat kan
oververhitting in het product veroorzaken
en tot brand leiden.

gebruik
❏ Bescherm de batterijlader tegen sterke
schokken en laat hem niet vallen. Anders
kan de batterijlader beschadigd raken.
❏ Bescherm de batterijlader tegen extreme
temperaturen en stel hem niet bloot aan
grote temperatuur-wisselingen. Laden is
mogelijk bij omgevingstemperaturen van
0°C en 40°C, maar voor een optimaal
resultaat wordt een temperatuur van 10°C
tot 30°C aanbevolen.
❏ Houd de batterijlader van
kortegolfontvangers en video-apparatuur
vandaan, omdat hij de kortegolfontvangst
of het videoscherm kan storen.
❏ Bevestig de batterij stevig op de
batterijlader.
❏ Tijdens het laden wordt de batterij warm.
Dit is normaal en betekent niet dat er een
probleem is.
❏ De batterij loopt ook als het product niet
gebruikt wordt, langzaam leeg. Laad direct
voor gebruik, bij voorkeur 1 of 2 dagen
daarvoor.
❏ Na volledige lading wordt aanbevolen de
batterij binnen 24 uur uit de batterijlader te
halen.
❏ Laat de batterijlader nooit aan het snoer
hangen.
❏ Sluit de batterijlader niet aan op een
verlengsnoer.
❏ U zult zien dat de batterijlader geen AAN/
UIT-knop heeft. Denk eraan dat het nodig
zal zijn om de stekker uit het stopcontact te
halen om het apparaat uit te schakelen als
er een probleem zou zijn.
Opmerkingen m.b.t.
installatie en opslag
❏ Houd de batterijlader op afstand van de
volgende zaken, die schade, brand of
andere ongelukken kunnen veroorzaken:
• direct zonlicht
• hoge temperatuur en vochtigheidsgraad
• extreme veranderingen in temperatuur
en vochtigheidsgraad
• verwarmings- en koelapparatuur
• warmtebronnen zoals verwarmingen en
kookbenodigdheden
• vluchtige stoffen
• hoge mate van stof
• plaatsen die nat worden
• plaatsen waar open vuur kan zijn
• plaatsen waar trillingen en schokken
kunnen optreden
❏ Plaats de batterijlader met de kant met het
etiket omlaag.
❏ Steek het snoer niet in stopcontacten
dichtbij apparatuur die spanningspieken of
elektrische ruis veroorzaakt. Blijf met name
uit de buurt van apparatuur met grote
elektromotoren.

reiniging
Om de batterijlader te reinigen, neemt u hem af
met een droge of iets bevochtigde (en goed
uitgewrongen) doek. Maak de batterijlader
nooit schoon terwijl de stekker in het
stopcontact is gestoken.
Maak de batterijlader niet schoon met thinner,
benzine of alcohol.

niet knippert, moet u controleren of de

een probleem is met de vorige batterij.

Notes relatives à l'emploi

températures extrêmes et des variations de
température excessives. Il est possible de
charger les accus à des températures
comprises entre 0 et 40°C mais, afin
d'obtenir des résultats optimaux, la
température devrait se situer entre 10 et
30°C.
❏ Placer le chargeur d'accus à l'écart des
récepteurs AM et du matériel vidéo car il
provoquera sinon des parasites de la

nettoyage
Pour nettoyer le chargeur d'accus, l'essuyer
avec un chiffon sec ou légèrement humide
(bien essoré). Toujours débrancher le chargeur
d'accus de la prise secteur avant de le nettoyer.
Ne jamais nettoyer le chargeur d'accus avec du
diluant, du benzène ou de l'alcool.
Chargement des accus
1. Tout en appuyant les accus contre le
chargeur, glissez-les en position de la
manière indiquée ci-dessous.
2. Insérez fermement le cordon électrique
dans l'entrée c.a. du chargeur d'accus en
procédant de la manière indiquée cidessous. Veillez à utiliser le cordon
électrique fourni.
3. Branchez la fiche du cordon électrique dans
la prise secteur. Au bout de quelques
secondes, le témoin
situé sur le côté où sont fixés les accus
s'allume et le processus de charge
commence.
Le témoin
les accus sont rechargés à environ 90 pour cent.
Si vous désirez charger à 100 pour cent, laissez
l'opération se poursuivre pendant au moins
une heure après que le témoin de charge se soit
éteint.

Notes relatives au témoin
Si le témoin CHARGE reste allumé sans clignoter,
puis s'éteint au terme du temps de charge, le
problème a été résolu.
Enlevez les accus en cours de charge et
reposez-les.
Si le témoin CHARGE continue à clignoter,
essayez d'autres accus.
Si CHARGE se remet à clignoter, il se peut
que le chargeur d'accus soit défectueux.
Si le témoin CHARGE reste allumé sans clignoter,
puis s'éteint au terme du temps de charge, il se
peut que les premiers accus soient défectueux.
Si un produit semble défectueux, demandez conseil à votre

1. Ao premir o conjunto da bateria contra o
carregador de bateria, deslize o conjunto da

2. Insira completamente a extremidade do
cabo de alimentação na tomada de entrada
de CA do carregador de bateria, como se
mostra abaixo. Não deixe de utilizar o cabo
de alimentação incluso no pacote.
3. Insira a ficha de alimentação na tomada.

Carga de la batería
1. Mientras presiona el paquete de batería
contra el cargador de baterías, deslice el
paquete de batería como se muestra abajo.
2. Empuje el extremo del cable eléctrico
completamente dentro de la entrada de
C.A. (corriente alterna) del cargador de
baterías como se muestra abajo. Asegúrese
de usar el cable eléctrico que venía en el
paquete.
3. Inserte el enchufe en la toma de corriente.
Después de unos segundos, el
INDICADOR DE CARGA (anaranjado),
que está en el lado donde se acopla el
paquete de batería, se enciende y comienza
la carga.
El Indicador de CARGA (anaranjado) se apaga
cuando se ha completado un 90 % de la carga.
Si quiere llevar a cabo una carga del 100 %,
continúe la carga durante una hora o más
después de que se apague el indicador de
carga.

INDICADORES
Si el Indicador de CARGA está encendido y no
vuelve a parpadear, y se apaga cuando ha transcurrido el tiempo de carga, no hay problema.
Desacople el paquete de batería que se
estaba cargando y luego vuélvalo a
acoplar.
Si el Indicador CARGA vuelve a parpadear, reemplace el paquete de batería.
Si CARGA parpadea de nuevo, podría haber
un problema con el cargador de baterías.
Si el Indicador de CARGA está encendido y no
vuelve a parpadear, y se apaga cuando ha
transcurrido el tiempo de carga, podría haber un
problema con el paquete de batería anterior.
Póngase en contacto con su distributador o el centro de servicio de
Epson si el producto parece tener problemas.

Rimuovere regolarmente la spina dalla
presa di corrente e pulire la base dei poli e
fra i poli. Se la spina viene lasciata inserita
nella presa di corrente per un periodo
prolungato, sulla base dei poli potrebbe
accumularsi polvere costituendo causa di
incendio o cortocircuito.
ATTENZIONE:
Usare sempre il cavo di alimentazione
fornito con il prodotto.
L'uso improprio può danneggiare il
prodotto, causare incendio o scossa
elettrica.
Posare questa unità su una superficie
piana, solida e stabile. Se cade, questa
unità può rompersi o causare lesioni

Non usare questa unità in ambienti
soggetti ad un elevato tasso di umidità o
polvere. L'umidità o la polvere eccessiva
può causare danni all'unità, incendio o
scossa elettrica.
Non mettere oggetti pesanti sopra questa

Note per l'uso
❏ Per evitare danni, proteggere il
caricabatteria da forti scosse e prestare
attenzione affinché non cada.
❏ Proteggere il caricabatteria da temperature
estreme e non assoggettarlo a violente
fluttuazioni di temperatura. La carica della
batteria è possibile in un intervallo di
temperature ambiente compreso tra
0 e 40°C, ma, per risultati migliori, la
temperatura ambiente dovrebbe essere
compresa tra 10 e 30°C.
❏ Tenere il caricabatteria lontano da
ricevitori AM o apparecchiature video,
poiché potrebbe disturbare la ricezione AM
o lo schermo video.
❏ Collegare saldamente la batteria al
caricabatteria.
❏ Durante la carica, la batteria si riscalda. Ciò
è normale e non pone alcun problema.
❏ La batteria si scarica gradualmente anche
quando il prodotto non viene usato. Si
raccomanda di caricare la batteria subito
prima dell'uso, preferibilmente con 1-2
giorni di anticipo.
❏ Dopo una carica completa, si raccomanda
di staccare entro 24 ore la batteria dal
caricabatteria.
❏ Non lasciare mai il caricabatteria sospeso
per il cavo di alimentazione.
❏ Non collegare il caricabatteria a una presa
da tavolo o ad un a prolunga elettrica.
❏ Il caricabatteria non è dotato di un
interruttore ON/OFF. Tenere presente che,
per rimuovere l'alimentazione nel caso in
cui si verifichi un problema mentre il
dispositivo è collegato, può essere
necessario staccare la spina dalla presa.

conservazione
❏ Per evitare danni, incendio o altri incidenti,
tenere il caricabatteria lontano da:
• Luce diretta del sole
• Elevata temperatura e umidità
• Variazioni estreme della temperatura e
dell'umidità
• Apparecchiature di riscaldamento e
raffreddamento
• Fonti di calore, quali radiatori e utensili
da cucina.
• Materiali volatili
• Alti addensamenti di polvere
• Luoghi che possono diventare bagnati
• Luoghi dove può esservi un fuoco
• Luoghi che possono essere soggetti a
vibrazioni e urti
❏ Sistemare il caricabatteria in modo che il
lato con l'etichetta sia rivolto in basso.
❏ Non collegare il cavo di alimentazione a
prese elettriche vicine a dispositivi che
generano fluttuazioni di tensione o disturbi
elettrici. In particolare, non collegare in
prossimità di dispositivi che usano grandi
motori elettrici.

Per pulire il caricabatteria, strofinare
delicatamente con un panno asciutto o
leggermente bagnato (completamente
strizzato). Non pulire mai il caricabatteria con
la spina inserita nella presa di corrente a muro.
Non pulire il caricabatteria con solvente,

Caricamento della
batteria
1. Premendo la batteria contro il
caricabatteria, far scorrere la batteria come
mostrato qui sotto.
2. Spingere l'estremità del cavo di
alimentazione completamente nella presa
di ingresso CA del caricabatteria, come
mostrato qui sotto. Usare solamente il cavo
di alimentazione fornito.
3. Inserire la spina di alimentazione nella
presa di corrente a muro. Dopo pochi
secondi, si accende il LED
(arancione) sul lato dove è collegata la
batteria, e ha inizio il caricamento della
batteria.
