Your serial number can be found on the rating plate which is on the base of the hand dryer. It is also on the large information sticker on the front of the unit when it is unpacked.

This contains detaile d information on the correct installation of the appliance, which MUST be adhered to completely, including routing of electrical cables. 1. This unit is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensor y or reasoning capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given super vision or instruc tion concerning use of the unit by a person responsible for their safety.
2. Do not allow the hand dryer to be used for any purpose other than drying hands. Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. If you have questions, contact the manufacturer.
3. Before ser vicing, switch the power off at the ser vice panel. Ensure the switch is locked to prevent the power from being switched on accidentally. If the means of switching off the power cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel.
4. Children should be super vised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.
5. Do not use any jet wash equipment for cleaning on or near this unit.

CAUTION
Your hand dryer should be located indoors. Operating temperature range 0°C(32°F) to 40°C (104° F). To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the internal mechanisms/components of this unit to moisture.

USE IN FOOD PREPARATION AREAS
This hand dryer is suitable for use in food preparation areas and for use in the washrooms of food preparation environments. This hand dryer is suitable for use in food preparation areas. However to use a PC-A BS model in food handling areas two rubber front fascia plugs must be installed. These are different from the plugs received with the unit. If you are a food manufacturing, processing or catering unit, please contact the Dyson Helpline on the number on the back cover. You will receive a fascia plug pack, which includes the rubber plugs and instructions for fitting.
CLEANING
The hand dryer should be cleaned daily. Follow these 3 simple steps to ensure the machine performs to its best and remains hygienic. Using the wrong cleaning method or product may invalidate your guarantee.
1. Wipe all surfaces and the (4) sensor lenses with a sof t cloth and non-abrasive cleaner. Particular attention should be paid to the seals and sides of the machine.
2. Clean the air inlet on the base REGULARLY.
3. Clean the floor beneath and around the machine. This may be required more regularly in high use areas.
GENERAL ADVICE
All cleaning chemicals should be used exactly as indicated by the manufacturer’s instructions (including appropriate dilution).
If a cleaning produc t is left on the machine for too long, a film will form. This may reduce the effec tiveness of the anti-microbial surfaces. Any chemicals intended for use should first be tested on an inconspicuous area to confirm suitability. Aside from cleaning chemicals, care should be taken to avoid any harmful fluids from coming into contact with the product, in particular oils and alcohol-based products.
CHEMICAL GUIDELINES
Many professional cleaning chemicals can be used. The following are some that are harmful to the machine and should not be used. Use of these will invalidate
your warranty. Do not use:
