Application
The Konica Minolta/Air-Shields®JM-103 Jaundice Meter from Dräger Medical is an accurate, instantaneous, non-invasive device that will assist you in management of neonatal jaundice. The Jaundice Meter provides an estimate of serum bilirubin levels reported in µmol/L or mg/dL. Used in conjunction with other clinical signs and laboratory measurements this information can assist you in making clinical decisions regarding the need for additional serum bilirubin measurements.

Because you care
To use the unit, simply place the tip of the device against the forehead or sternum of the infant and press gently. The instrument’s Xenon lamp will flash once and the measured value will be displayed on the screen. No additional data analysis is required by the user and the unit may be used with all skin colors.

Long Battery Life
At least 400 single measurements may be taken when the unit is fully charged. A “low battery” display will blink when the power is low. When not in use it is recommended that the unit remain in its charging cradle, assuring a continuous full charge.

Versatile Display

Checking the Unit
